Fantastic experience: I highly recommend the pre-test refresher. Joe was great, and my son felt much more prepared for his license road test after the refresher and passed easily. My son also went through driver's education here and had a good experience.

Negative experience: In a past experience at this driving school, Mr. Argenbright was my child’s driving instructor. The occurrences during my child’s experience with him were not following traffic laws and was highly unprofessional, which is very endangering and stressful for my child and other young student drivers who were under his instruction. He’s crass and likes to raise his voice frequently to the point that it does more damage than having improvement in driving. The owner states that being calm and refraining from yelling help make your students driving improve, but that is he opposite of what Mr. A does on the daily. I have no idea, with these ideals, that he accepted such a teacher. I highly encourage if your child ever gets assigned to this instructor, to request a change immediately.

Negative experience: Mr. A was rude, disdainful, and belittling. Had to drive him to run his errands for him. Plays mind games and raises his voice often. Very grouchy and grumpy which makes the new driver more nervous than they already are. He also told me not to stop at traffic lights or stop signs so we “didn’t waste gas” starting up again.

Fantastic experience: My son had 10 hours of driving lessons with Chris. He did an amazing job teaching Alex how to drive on local roads, rotaries, downtown Portland and the highway! He taught him to park, including parallel parking. My husband and I would never have been able to teach Alex so much in 5 days. Thank you Chris!!
