Fantastic experience: I had Pierre and is seriously one of the chillest driving instructors out there. He made what could’ve been a super stressful experience kinda fun. We played games before quizzes to review and it helped me study. He’s super patient and has a great sense of humor. I also had him for in BTW lessons and driving with him was fun and super relaxed. If you’re someone nervous about learning to drive, Pierre is exactly the kind of person you want to teach you. High recommended!!

Negative experience: Experienced road rage from an Adam’s School of Driving car. In response to the below: it took you a year to respond and you never contacted me. How did you review the cameras? It wasn’t a car with a sticker.

Negative experience: We registered our son for the summer course. We we called in the summer to schedule behind the wheel driving lessons and were informed they were booking those 4-5 months out and would not be able to schedule him until November. They said if we upgraded to private lessons he could take the test with the instructor. We waited for months for these lessons then when November came there was an emergency with the instructor (understandable) and they had to reschedule. We got 3 in December but the last 2 are not until February and March (which I have to pull him out of school for) We were assured when we registered and upgraded that he could finish before the end of the year (after Dec they can no longer take the test with their instructor). We paid for an upgrade for nothing (he cannot take the test with his instuctor as promised) and will take 10 months to get though this. If I would have known all of of this we would have chosen another school. My son liked his instructors but be prepared for logistical issues. Would not recommend.

Positive experience: We have done classes at Top Driver and AAdams and like adams much much more! With Adams you can book all of your driving hours at once and Top Driver NEVER had spots available and you can only book one at a time. Classes start and end on time and our driving instructor Rebecca was great. Made my son feel at ease behind the wheel. Third son is now at Adams

Fantastic experience: Our son took driving instructions with Adams at the Linden St, Wilmette location, pre Covid lockdown. They prepared him well for his permit test. Covid postponed his ability to take his road portion of the class, however as soon as it was possible, he was able to schedule his road lessons without any issues (though he might argue he had to get up too early). He subsequently passed his road test, so yes, I would recommend a-Adams.
