Capabilities Driving School

Welcome to Capabilities Driving School! Located at 809 McKinley Rd, St. Marys, OH 45885, our driving school is dedicated to connecting people to the journey of obtaining and maintaining their driver’s license. We offer a variety of services, including on-the-road driving lessons, first-time driver courses, and driving assessments, all designed to help our students achieve independence on the road.

We are proud to serve as an Ohio BMV-accredited class D testing center, meaning our students can take their driving tests with us. With flexible scheduling and qualified instructors, we are committed to providing accessible, high-quality driving education. Starting January 1, 2025, the maneuverability and road tests will cost $50 each, with the option to use one of our vehicles for an additional fee.

Our teen driver education courses include 24 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel training, with both in-person and online options to meet the needs of all students. We also offer an abbreviated adult training course for individuals who need retraining if they do not pass their test on the first attempt.
