Freedom Driving School: Reviews
Fantastic experience: The school taught me well and the instructors were very nice and funny although . (This is also my first review ever)
Fantastic experience: I like the instructor. I learned a lot in the class.
Fantastic experience: I’m wondering if the driving school moved buildings because the pictures I’m seeing online is not the same building I took my daughter too. Anyway that’s trivial. I signed my daughter up in May of 2025 to take teen drivers ed. I believed I paid $625 (they have a veterans/military discount) this was for their basic package which included all the in-class lessons and 6 drives. Pick the package that works for you. This package does not include the skills testing or actual test to get your student licensed. For the skills testing it’s walk in only and I believe it’s around $30-40 to take and the drivers test around $70. My numbers may be off as it’s been 6 months. Also the drives are a lot different than when I took drivers ed. There’s no other students that ride along. All of her drives were strictly her and the instructor. You must schedule the drives yourself online under your students account. They have several other freedom driving schools in the area and what was nice is that I could schedule at any location that worked for me! Yes, there are penalties if you miss drives and they have a very clear attendance policy. They’re also willing to work with you. Normally to reschedule a class it’s $50 (again my pricing may be off). However when my daughter had a school function she was required to attend- they worked with us and did not charge the usual fee. She had to get a note from the school or her teacher which is understandable. The instructor my daughter had was terrific as were the office staff. Her class had about 24-30 kids with the vast majority being male. There was an issue with several male students talking about inappropriate and uncomfortable things in class that made my daughter really uncomfortable. Other females in the class were subject to this too. I reached out to the school to tell them what was going on and they put a stop to it immediately. So yeah I would recommend this school. Be committed, reliable and if there are issues be upfront and transparent as soon as you can.
Fantastic experience: So I was having to take the knowledge and drive test in order to get my license back after having it suspended for a really long time. I could have gone to the dol making appointments and waiting but I had a job opportunity and needed to get the tests taken asap. Freedom drive school allowed me to walk in for the knowledge test and then make an appointment for the drive. It was way better taking the test at freedom less stressful. The staff was great in parkland and Lakewood. If you ask me I'll tell you go to freedom. 100% recommended
Negative experience: it is one thing that their policy is to take away your money if you are late, not leaving any area of reasoning with road or weather conditions, but the way that their front desk skinny employee looks at you and the tone of here speech that sounds as if she has historical vengensions and she wants to make sure that she is impacting you severely to satisfy her deep indignation, is really shocking and outrageous. I would not recommend this business to anyone
We have absolutely no record of you as a customer!
Fantastic experience: They were very helpful and friendly
Negative experience: 0/10. Although the majority of the personnel is courteous, the red-haired front desk employee is extremely disrespectful. She keeps saying rude things like, "did you not study." Also the failure of a test by a student in my class was also declared in front of the entire class, which I found unprofessional and disrespectful as that was quite embarrassing for the student. I would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND going to this drivers Ed.
We have no record of a customer by your name, and there has never been a red-haired person at the front desk at any location....are you sure that you are reviewing the correct Driving School?
Positive experience: Not open on Friday s
Negative experience: Horrible business
Fantastic experience: I put both my kids in this and they both did well
Fantastic experience: I wouldn’t have my license if it wasn’t for freedom. I definitely recommend this school to everyone. If I had the option I would give it 10 stars!!
