Louisiana Safety and Driving Academy

At Louisiana Safety and Driving Academy in Zachary, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive safety and driving education for all levels of students. From teenagers aged 14 to adults 18 and older, our academy offers courses specifically designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become responsible and safe drivers.

Our mission is to ensure that each student successfully completes the course while benefiting from a personalized learning environment, with smaller classrooms that promote more direct teaching. Our courses include a variety of instructional methods, from written materials and PowerPoint presentations to practical simulations and class discussions. Additionally, we offer behind-the-wheel instruction that covers different driving environments, from residential streets to highways, ensuring our students are fully prepared for any situation.

Our staff is highly qualified, with instructors certified by the Louisiana Department of Motor Vehicles who regularly participate in professional development training. The enrollment requirements are clear and accessible, ensuring that each student obtains their Temporary Instruction Permit (TIP) before the first day of class. Parent meetings are an integral part of our process, ensuring collaboration between parents and children as we navigate the exciting journey toward obtaining their driver’s license together.

The courses we offer include a 38-hour course as well as a 14-hour course, catering to the diverse needs and schedules of our students. With dedicated attention and a practice-based approach, we aim to make every student feel confident and prepared behind the wheel.
