A.B.A.T.E. of Anchorage Motorcycle Training Range
We offer three levels of rider courses based on experience. Basic, Experienced and Advanced. Our programs can enhance your riding experience and help keep you safe on the road.
After passing the Basic Rider, 3 Wheel Basic Rider or Experienced Rider course getting your endorsement is easy! We will issue a course completion card for you to take to DMV or UMV, this waives your driving test. You will still need to take a 20-question written test at DMV, UMV or Alaska Leather.
Bikes are provided for our Kickstart, Basic and 3-Wheel Basic Rider Courses. Compared to other programs, our training bikes are lightweight and
maneuverable!
Courses start at the end of April and are offered through September, (weather dependent).

9 months ago Fantastic experience: My son (16) and I just wrapped up the Basic Rider Course with A.B.A.T.E. Alaska and couldn't have been more impressed! Our instructors, Matt & Kat, were amazing and did such a good job at being personable, patient, knowledgeable, helpful, and funny! This was a great class overall that was a little stressful and challenging, but completely fun and achievable; everyone in our class today left with their completed certificates! I Highly Recommend Taking This Class!

10 months ago Fantastic experience: My friend & I took the Beginner’s course with Matt & Kat, and have zero complaints. Our instructors differ in their teaching styles, but in a way where it compliments each other during exercises. Kay turns up the heat while Matt washes away any self-doubt new riders may have. Highly recommend scheduling with these instructors specifically. This environment allowed our team to learn efficiently, which resulted with everyone successfully passing the test.
