Fantastic experience: Great staff, great selection of bikes to choose from. They will allow you to TEST RIDE the motorcycle of your choice. Just make certain of you get a helmet that IT IS the correct size, before you purchase it or if they give it to you with your bike purchase.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible experience. Just stopped in to buy a couple shirts and chips. Spent over a half hour with a completely untrained and incapable cashier fumbling with trying to use an HD gift card. She screwed it up multiple times and then demanded another form of payment and charged our visa card. Yep, she charged us twice. Both gift cards and credit card. THEN, We later find out she put the wrong merchandise in our bag so we have wrong size shirt that is useless. What a cluster. Sorry but its just so pathetic its almost comical. Cherry on top of this mess, she could not print a receipt.

We do have a brand new employee that just started a week ago and unfortunately with HOG Rally a lot of staff are spread between locations. I would be happy to refund your entire purchase since you didn't get what you wanted, and if you were double charged we will ensure both payments are refunded. Please give us a call tomorrow at 907-248-5300 after 10AM and ask to speak to either Trevor or DeeDee and we will get it taken care of. Again, I am really sorry, and I wish we could have remedied and fixed while you were still in store so you didn't have to communicate by review. We will take care of it. Negative experience: Scheduled an appointment over a month ago for a simple service first thing in the morning while on a 12,000 mile road trip from lower 48 to Alaska and was bumped by the service department even though I had an appointment and I told them I needed to be back on the the road by a certain time and they didn’t care and I waited 6 hours for a scheduled service and missed my window to leave and stay on track on my trip. While writing this review another road tripper was complaining that they too scheduled a service months ago the dealer service department was giving them the same story….do not trust this dealership when it comes to scheduling services as they do not keep their appointments and don’t care and your road trip schedule will be interrupted.
I am sorry to hear that your experience was not ideal. As a traveler and rider I understand how frustrating it can be to not have a service completed on time. We do work very hard to ensure our travelers are well taken care of, we offer them priority service as well as a beautiful campground with shower house. The service department is extremely busy during our short riding season, and timeliness is also very critical. Your arrival after your scheduled time required our team to adjust the schedule and push another waiting traveler ahead of you so the tech was not just standing there waiting. We did complete your service approximately 2 hours later than originally scheduled. The other traveler may be the one that missed their appointment by a whole day, but we did and always do work to get travelers in and on the road as quickly as possible. As a small, locally owned business that serves the motorcycle community in an extremely seasonal location, we do not have the luxury of some of the large year round riding communities with 10+ technicians on the team. We do care about our customers and we are sorry that your trip was delayed. We offered a discount for the delay and inconvenience and hope that you will have a safe a great rest of your journey in our beautiful state. I am sure with just a few minutes riding your Harley and taking in the spectacular views you will be back to enjoying your journey.

Negative experience: This review its not about me anymore, i already failed my self not to fail for Adrian's bait. He contacted me twice on Fb market place about my bike. The second time he said i can write you a check for it i just need to see the bike. So i went there with the bike, he test drove the bike, checked it out and of course nothing was wrong with the bike. So he invited me to his office and he offered me $4k for it and he knows that my asking price was $6700 for the bike. So he offered me more then 40% less from my asking price. He kept saying i am just trying to help you. So this review is to expose him so no one else goes to the same thing and wasting time with him. Don't need your " Help " Adrian.
Bekim, I understand your frustration in not getting offered the price you were requesting for your motorcycle. We are a business, so when we buy the bikes from folks like you trying to sell them, we pay same day, make it easy for you and then we recondition the bike and will sell it. It was an offer, you didn't accept and that is ok.

Negative experience: Well wish I could say I had happy results. Am traveling through AK towing my 2018 TriGlide with major electrical problems. They refused to do service on it even if I left it for a week and a half at their store. Doesn't say much for the Harley Davidson Product. Am basically towing around a $35,000 1100 lb. paperweight. Don't dare ride it touring as it might break down in the middle of nowhere. NOT HAPPY
Don, unfortunately we are not able to diagnose a motorcycle when it is not at our dealership. We offered to service the bike when it was here and work toward a diagnosis. You chose to not go with this option. We are not permitted to contact the tech support line without the motorcycle in our dealership. You had told us you had the part and an appointment at another dealership so we encouraged you to keep that since they had already seen the bike. I am sure you have already checked this, but if your trike has a security system you do need to put the system into haul mode otherwise it will continuously go off killing the battery. We hope you get your bike fixed and enjoy the rest of your travels.
Positive experience: Would have dug riding my motorcycle around Alaska ! Didn't see very many riders up there. 70° and sunny the whole time we were there !

Positive experience: My friend and I bought these boots from HOH around October of 2021, were not able to use them till spring of 2022. After just one season of use, and we all know how short the riding season is both of our boots started to rip at the same spot. Yesterday we went in to HOH and told the gal working at the counter and she went in the back to talk to a manager came out and said sorry they only have a one year warranty. I mentioned this is a manufacturer defect and asked to speak to Trevor, she said Trevor was at lunch but I heard him on the other side of the wall behind the counter so I went to talk to him with my friend. Trevor was understanding of our concerns and said let me see what I can do. He went back and talk to someone in the back room, came back and said the boots are made by Wolverine and only cover one year warranty. He also offered to let us both get 25% off another pair but we both declined and I said I'll never buy another boot from Harley. I asked if they can pull the boots off the shelf so others don't have to deal with this. The boots I believe were around $260 and only used for riding. Very disappointed in the China made boot that HD charges so much for. I would recommend getting your riding gear from AK leather or Revzilla.

Negative experience: The shop needs a major overhaul. Anytime i schedule any maintenance or even a tire change. Its a month out. !UNACCEPTABLE! As short as the riding season already is No one needs nor wants to be waiting a month for their bike. The showroom downstairs serves 0 purpose. Maybe for storing bikes but they don't make money off that. Get rid of that showroom, make your shop bigger, bring in more guys. DO BETTER!

Fantastic experience: Went to several different shops looking for a good motorcycle helmet and these had a good selection, but their customer service is head and shoulders above other shops here and that is why I spent my money here.

Fantastic experience: I bought a new 2020 Road King Special. The motorcycle was in Soldotna AK and I live in Anchorage AK. The two dealerships made the arrangements so that I could make the purchase in Anchorage and delivered the motorcycle from Soldotna to Anchorage at no charge. The deal was great - I am a buyer not a shopper - so the time to make the deal and finish the paperwork was less than 30 minutes total - just how I like it. And blasting the horn to ring in the sale in the Anchorage shop isn't bad either.

Dia, Trevor, and the entire staff were all very welcoming and helpful during our recent visit to the store. It's obvious that customer service and satisfaction are their top priorities. Negative experience: Rudest HD store I’ve ever been in. Not one person spoke a word to our entire party of 6 people. Not even a smile or welcome of any kind for 20 minutes we were shopping. Refused to help or acknowledge our existence. Ended up putting hundreds of $ of merchandise down & walking out. Wouldn’t give this place a penny. Very disappointing as someone who’s been in hundreds of HD stores across the country/globe. :(

Fantastic experience: A fine shop with a great staff. I live in Massachusetts and needed to get a Alaska Harley shirt. If you're not going to buy a bike at least buy a shirt.
