Safeway Driving School is a locally owned and operated driving school in Thousand Oaks, California. We are open 6 days a week for your convenience. We offer several drivers education packages to meet everyone’s needs. We also offer pre- permit, permit and DMV testing. Our packages are a combination of behind the wheel and online driving courses. We offer both male and female drivers to make each student feel comfortable. At Safeway Driving School we understand parents’ schedules can be hectic we offer pick up and drop off services. So, when you are ready for your teen to learn the rules of the road contact Safeway Driving School!

Fantastic experience: I have had 3 kids go through Safeway driving school and ALL have passed their driving tests with flying colors the first time. I am so grateful for the hard work of their instructors. Jonathan really made all the difference for my boys. He’s an excellent instructor and just an overall cool guy!! Thank you so much Safeway!!!! Now I am no longer the chauffeur. :)

Fantastic experience: Donna and Randy were both great! Both of my kids did their driving lessons at Safeway and we had a great experience!!! I definitely recommend it!

Fantastic experience: My daughter started with coastline and our best decision was to switch to Safeway. The owner and his team really care, they find solutions to accommodate your needs and concerns, they are available and Ahmad, her driving instructor, is a true professional. She got her license with flying colors and she is a responsible driver. Thank you !

Fantastic experience: Sharon is an exceptional instructor. She deserves a raise! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ She is informative, thorough, and encouraging. She prepared our daughter so well that she passed her driving test the first time! Thank you, Sharon! Donna was also so kind and helpful every time I called from my first inquiries to signing up and scheduling lessons for both of our teenagers. Thank you for everything, Safeway!
