Fantastic experience: I had my first lesson and instructor Josh was incredibly helpful and patient with me and very friendly which helped me feel a lot less nervous. He was incredibly kind about all corrections he made and made me feel very comfortable even though I was super nervous about driving. I felt like I made tons of progress by the end of the lesson. :)

Fantastic experience: My daughter took three lessons with Instructor Bee, and she was amazing! She performed wonderfully well and was helping my daughter learn how to drive since she was brand new. She, too, was a beginner. It’s incredible how consistent following through, actively listening to all the points, and believing in the guidance provided by Bee can make a remarkable difference in just six months. We discovered Bay Cities Driving School through a friend’s recommendation. Initially, we were apprehensive about not having enough time to practice due to our conflicting schedules. However, surprisingly, we managed to find a way to accommodate everyone. We couldn’t believe how dedicated Miss B was to each lesson. My daughter informed me that the lessons did get more challenging but she supported my daughter the whole time. The subjects she needed to learn were taught in such an incredible and genius way that it put my daughter at ease at the same time. She also wanted my daughter to understand the importance of maintaining a safe distance, depending on the speed of the vehicle. Additionally, she wanted to help my daughter break bad habits like driving too close to the car in front of her and releasing the brakes too quickly. She taught my daughter how to practice slowly moving her foot away to avoid sudden jerks. Bee was an incredible driving instructor. She was fantastic, incredibly supportive, super funny, helpful, genuine, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. We’ve witnessed and stood by to see how she taught our daughter how to parallel park, and she even showed her how to parallel park in under five seconds with one hand. Bee is a pro; she’s a wonderful driver. She’s fantastic, such an incredible person, and we wish her the best in the future. My daughter successfully passed her driving test on her first try, and we are overjoyed and thrilled that this is finally possible. We cannot express our gratitude enough. We want to express our deepest gratitude to Bee and you for having such fantastic driving instructors. You are the best, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the year. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: Sandra is a highly vigilant and dedicated instructor. I’ve had a great experience preparing for my DMV test with her. What I appreciate most is her adaptability; when I mentioned I wanted to pause the mock tests and review the basics first, she immediately pivoted to support my learning style. She is extremely safety-oriented and keeps you on high alert regarding your surroundings, which is valuable for new drivers. She also taught me excellent techniques for cul-de-sac turns and shoulder checks. If you are taking lessons here, I highly recommend being upfront about your specific goals (beginner vs. test prep), as she is very willing to customize the lesson for you. 5 stars for the personalized attention!

Fantastic experience: I took my classes with Bee and thanks to her passed my behind-the-wheel test in Daly City! She was extremely helpful and patient and I was able to learn a lot from her. I highly recommend taking classes with her. She gives great advice and even shares notes for me to review when I practice on my own. Fantastic experience: I paid for three lessons total, I would say the price is reasonable for how many lessons I paid for. My instructor's name is Alex, he was amazing, professional. He made my nervousness of driving disappear which is shocking to me honestly. With only one lesson I felt I learned so much from him and can't wait for my next lesson.

She is a great instructor, I had an amazing time with her. Fantastic experience: My instructor was Joel. I really enjoyed the lesson, and felt like it progressed in difficulty at a good pace. I liked how he would have me repeat a maneuver if I messed it up, and feel like I got some great practice.

Fantastic experience: I passed my CA behind-the-wheel test in San Mateo this morning after a two-week intense training program with lead instructor Bee. I had failed my first test (before the classes) and needed customized instruction on the rules of the road and driving in CA as well as correction of some bad driving habits developed over many years of driving. Bee did an OUTSTANDING job on both and taught me some new, safer driving skills in the process. She did it with patient but determined persistence :). It also shined through that she cared profoundly to get me to success. Thanks for the fantastic classes and experience!

Fantastic experience: Ive taken 4 lessons here and Ive loved the instructors especially Alex and Lorenzo, Alex always gives amazing tips on everything you do and Lorenzo makes driving feel fun and less stressful and its really easy to get help from someone quickly by texting if you have issues with scheduling or anything, i recommend the drivers and this driving school!

Fantastic experience: Lorenzo was a super friendly and calm instructor. I was quite nervous to drive for the first time, but his calm demeanor allowed me to relax. Even though by the end of the lesson we ended up driving at significantly higher speed and in more traffic than I had anticipated, I felt safe and in control throughout, thanks to his guidance. Would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Writing this review on behalf of my mother who is the one who took the lesson. Instructor Alex was amazing , he arrived a little early to our lesson which was great. He was very patient and explained everything in great detail. It is super easy to book a lesson whether messaging them or online by yourself, He speaks Spanish (which is why we chose him). Most importantly we want to thank him because my mother passed her test ! Thank you so much , definitely recommend.

She never made me feel bad for asking a dumb question or making a mistake. She has a very enthusiastic and outgoing personality; I never felt weird driving with her! 10/10, would have her as a driving instructor again!!

Fantastic experience: Instructor Bee was amazing! She was so patient with my daughter and was always approachable when I had questions/concerns about my daughter’s driving. We will definitely use her when our next teen is ready to drive. Nikki the scheduler/coordinator was also awesome. She was super responsive with all of our scheduling questions. I never had to wait more than a few hours to hear back from her.

Fantastic experience: Alex had arrived before the lesson, and took the time to go over what our lessons would look like. He showed me how 4 way intersections work, and how to stay centered when driving. He taught me how long to stop at a stop sign before continuing, and how to move up just enough so I could see a block away to determine if I could go. He also taught me how to pull to the curb and stay straight, as well as back up, and re-enter the road. We covered a lot of the areas my parents drive in on a near daily basis, helping me map out the road. He had also taught me proper parking in the sequoia station parking lot, and how to back out of a spot, which was very helpful to know. All in all Alex was very good at easing me down during the stressful situations, taught me lots of new information, and overall gave me a good first driving lesson.

Fantastic experience: My daughter just had first lesson with Alex today. She came home confident and excited about driving. Alex was patient and thorough in the 2 hours he spent with her finishing up the lesson by telling her area in which to focus.

Fantastic experience: Lorenzo was so calm, friendly and patient. I enjoyed the refresher course I took with him. Before starting, I mentioned that I only needed to be familiar with the area and to give me a dry run of what a practical driving test would actually be like. He very patiently walked me through all the pointers, took me around the DMV area where I will take the test and referenced particular points in the actual exam that the examiners would look out for. All in all it was a good experience. I like how he took a calm attitude and seemed pretty laid back which balanced out my aprehension and jitteriness. I hold a foreign driver's license and just needed to be aware of how different driving in the US is from my country.

Fantastic experience: The lesson was open-ended - I had no idea what I was going to learn. Alex was very easy to talk to and was easy-going. I was nervous getting behind the wheel for the first time and that melted away as he told me what to do. He helped me with turning techniques, stop sign etiquette and made me feel much more at-ease. And this was only my first 2 hour lesson…

Fantastic experience: My son just had our first lesson with Bee and it was great! Scheduling was very easy on the BCD website. Bee was prompt and set my son at ease. He said that he felt very comfortable driving with her, she was very easy and fun to talk to and taught him a lot in just the first lesson. She clearly is very experienced and knows her stuff. Fantastic experience: Had the best time with Bee! She was very understanding of my difficulties with turning and using the wheel properly. As it was my first time knowing the real ways with turning and still did not fully understand it, I will definitely be using the few concepts she mentioned that were a lot easier to understand/do. Definitely recommend her as an instructor as she was super helpful the entire ride and patient!!
