NEISD Driver Education

Negative experience: I called and left a message for someone to call me back and all they did was send me an email about how to register. My son tried taking this class but miscommunication, and lack of communication caused his class time to lapse. Still waiting for someone to call me back.

Negative experience: I will give 2 stars as the driving instructor was very patient and helpful for my son to learn. Otherwise, I am very disappointed in this program. It is very difficult to get all the way through the program and then get any communication to finalize to get the certification. My son had one session left and had some medical issues. I have not been able to get answers on how we can complete the program and now his permit has expired. I feel that I am out hundreds of dollars for nothing. Very sad that we signed up for this with no outcome. Update: I swill still leave this at 2 stars. We have now had to resign up for the program, pay $140 of late fees and $70 of reinstatement fee for 3 months. Very disappointing.

Negative experience: Staff seems unable to perform their job in making their credentialing available to TDLR. Instead of taking responsibility and fixing the problem they just blame others. Don't waste your time and money. Very poor customer service. They don't seem to care at all.

Negative experience: I'm currently attending this program. The education is decent but I would never recommend this place to anyone. It's practically impossible to get your permit in this program. My poor mother has wasted so much gas trying to get me a permit but they can never find this course through tdlr. We've spent hours waiting for them to. Just don't even bother.

Fantastic experience: The driver education program is well designed and has excellent profesional drivers. My son feels that he has learned each time he took driving classes and the instructor feedback has given him specific and actionable suggestions to focus on between classes.

Negative experience: I had to visit this office twice. Both times, the lady at the desk did nothing but complain from the moment I stepped in until the moment I left. There were errors and lack of communication on their end. Bizarre someone would complain so much about having to do their job. I just wanted to get in and get out - I didn’t have time or desire to entertain that.

Negative experience: This is the most unorganized drivers program. You can’t barely get any drive time scheduled. The staff in the office never knows what’s going on. They switched locations without notice. They need to move the program back to the schools. And they need a better system. It makes no sense it literally took us a year to barely get 4 hours of drive time. You can’t get a refund to go to another program. Their only suggestion is parent taught. Then what’s the purpose of the program. Also making it so drives are released at a specific time creates madness for those who can’t get on at those times due to work. Let’s not forget there are single parents who need more flexibility. This process needs to be improved. Also the audacity of the staff charging if you don’t complete the program they created. How! You do T have availability. I will never recommend them. This has been nothing but a headache.

Negative experience: Over a month and still not able to schedule any drives due to "unavailability", despite checking daily. I've paid $350 for online instruction only it seems.

Fantastic experience: We couldn’t be more pleased with our Drivers Ed experience. The instructors were all very helpful and professional and Chris in the office went above and beyond to be sure we had all required documents for DPS. Chris also did everything possible to get all my sons drive time in and certificate ready for his DPS appointment. It’s rare these days to find such great customer service and just really kind people. Thank you for everything! We have a new driver in the family thanks to you. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Everything went very smoothly. I could not ask for a better experience for me and my daughter. ALL of your questions were answered very quickly. The staff at NEISD did an amazing job.
