Fantastic experience: I have to admit we were nervous signing up after reading a response to one of the reviews, but we moved forward because the location was convenient. Every day my kid came home inspired and excited about what they were learning. She carried her book around the house and would ask me to quiz her. She loved Frank's teaching style where he shared lots of stories of his experiences teaching and driving. I met him at the parents night and I can see what she means. He's funny and interesting and very straightforward.

Fantastic experience: Great experience working with Frank! I registered for driving lessons with him as an already licensed adult driver that needed practice on local driving, highway and parking. He was kind, patient and gave great pointers! His driving lessons helped me gain confidence as an independent driver on the road after many years!! Thank you Frank and Witch City Driving School!

Negative experience: This company is so unprofessional, they asked me to reschedule three times in one day, asked for a refund and they told me I couldn’t because they don’t do refunds; and when I was driving they were just sitting on they’re phone the whole time

Fantastic experience: This is the best driving school around. I took 6 lessons with chino and despite me being an anxious mess I passed my road test! I was so anxious because I’m 27 and pregnant so I have more to loose if I didn’t pass and I really wanted to get everything perfect. Chino is stern when he has to be (but not mean) which is perfect and he’s also very nice and will tell you what you did right and wrong. They are also on time (ALL THE TIME) like he was never once late picking me up, so I suggest to be ready on time as well so that you can respect their time as they respect yours as well. Today I am the proud owner of a new 2022 just in time for the baby to arrive and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without him. Thanks for everything!

Fantastic experience: As an adult learner and having taken lessons sporadically over the years, I have to say hands down Witch City Driving was the easiest to work with for scheduling practice hours, very professional and kind instructors, and within an economical budget for the hours provided. The instructors also seem to support Spanish speaking students, if that's a need. I found them very easy to understand, alert, and constantly giving good tips and reminders. I took about 20 hours on road and used them as sponsor for the road test in Lynn RMV, which included a practice run. We took as a group, and it was first come first serve (in line) so had to wait a bit, but I was glad I was towards end because the instructors were there understanding what went well or poorly with the students testing, and would particularly warn us if there was a mistake that we could avoid - for example, there was a traffic light back to the test location that was a right turn but only on arrow signal - just a reminder for people to pay attention to that. I was really glad to pass on my first try with them, and would recommend them to anyone else!

Fantastic experience: I have had some experience with our local Peabody driving school and unfortunately they are overwhelmed by the number of students that require lessons. As I left my neighborhood I noticed a Witch City Driving school vehicle pass by so I decided to give them a call. The women answering the phone was very professional and extremely personable. My son has had nothing but good things to say about the driving instructor, he does say he's a man of few words but has taught him some great driving skills/tips that I had not considered. My son has been able to schedule a lesson a week that must include observation. I think it's a better for kids learning to drive to do it in unfamiliar areas, it's important to build that confidence and I am grateful that I stumbled across Witch City. I'm looking forward to my other son attending this driving school down the road. My son did do his online driving school through Tanners but is now completing his road classes through Witch City. As a parent just make sure you complete your required 2 hr parent class so your child can move on with the road classes. So very pleased with this business and the employees. I live in Souty Peabody so I'm not sure how fat the driving school is willing to accommodate students but this place is worth a look.

Negative experience: I have never used them and I am so glad that my children never did either. I was driving down Highland Ave next to one of the instructors who was changing lanes constantly without a directional, speeding, driving to close, and almost hit me at the merge because he refused to give up the right of way because he was merging into my lane. The whole time he was trying to get in front of me he had his window down screaming at me. When I tried to call no one would answer the phone. These are the kind of people that this company employs to teach our children how to drive? That is insanely dangerous.

Negative experience: Unreliable!! My daughter’s appointments kept getting rescheduled or the instructor never showed. I highly DO NOT recommend.

Fantastic experience: I took my road test earlier this week and passed! I took four classes in total with the driving school and was really glad and thankful I did! Chino and Frank shared really helpful tips throughout lessons. They will continue to work with you on areas of need. They are patient teachers. Chino really helped me feel calm and relieved my anxiety. He's really encouraging! I paid to have the school be my sponsor and use the car for the exam as well. I am really relieved I had this option because I had no one else to do so with me. They also speak Spanish and English which is really helpful for those who are native Spanish speakers or bilingual! I recommend them!

Fantastic experience: If you want to pass, sign up for Witch City Driving! That's what I did! I took a few road lessons with Frank and Chino and they pick you up at your residence (on time every time I might add!) which is a plus I wasn't expecting. The value is outstanding for what you get. They'll even sign you up for your RMV road test and be your sponsor on the day of the test, which is ESSENTIAL for most right now as every Massachusetts RMV is booked through the end of September...like, zero availability anywhere, the backlog is crazy. That alone is worth utilizing them. They're both knowledgeable, personable, and >calm< which is what I needed as I was anxious. I had driven twice in the past few years, short distances, and was not in great driving shape at all. They gave extremely helpful advice, easy tips and tricks to remember and the day before my test, they essentially gave me a practice test which is what I was looking for/needed. I always find it easier going into a situation knowing what I'm in for and being able to visualize it. Like practicing anything, you know what's coming and you execute. I easily passed my test in Leominster, which is the closest location to Salem that I personally could get a test at without using Witch City's service to sign up for the test. I would highly recommend Witch City Driving School to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I was pretty anxious to begin driving lessons but both Frank and Chino were so kind and reassuring. They were patient and pleasant to talk to on all of my drives. I passed the road test after 6 lessons and they even called me afterwards to congratulate me - which was so thoughtful! I highly recommend Witch City Driving School. I was also able to book lessons easily and they had many openings and flexibility, and the pricing packages are more flexible too!
