Negative experience: Right before I had my drivers test, I called to complain about one of the instructors incompetence and unsafe practices but the phone operator instead told me I had low chances of passing and I should take more lessons (I passed the next day btw). Only didn’t give a one star because Dylan and Dave are what saved the quality of the service.

Congratulations on passing your test and thank you for recognizing Dylan and Dave! We do want to clarify some points for accuracy. When you reached out to us, you did not mention our instructor was incompetent. You noted that you felt unsafe because he was not giving you step by step instructions. Being a day away from taking your test, our instructors intentionally step back from directing every move so the student can demonstrate the independence they will need when operating a vehicle on their own. You completed 3 lessons with us (most students take 12) and the RMV also requires 40 hours of practice outside of lessons. Based on feedback from all of your instructors, it was clear you had very limited driving experience. This is why we suggested more lessons. Our intent was not to discourage you but to ensure safety on the road for yourself and others.

As a small local business, honest reviews are vital, and inaccurate statements can be harmful. Our top priority always has and always will be to have safe drivers on the road. As the license test does not ensure this, we try to communicate this directly to our students before they test. We appreciate the opportunity to correct the record and wish you safe, happy driving ahead.

Negative experience: I called to get some information for my friends son. The woman was not very friendly at all and I felt like I was bothering her . if this is how they deal with a new client how are they going to deal with kids!

Fantastic experience: Everything about this school has been awesome and worth every penny. Our daughter is one of those over-scheduled kids and we were sure she'd never get her license. MHD Auto School made it so easy and manageable. The staff is professional and understanding. On the day of my daughter's exam, the RMV examiner was a no-show - something that NEVER happens. The MHD Auto staff was so calm, professional, and kind as it all got sorted out. They even kept teaching the students as they waited for a replacement examiner, reminding them of common pitfalls and best practices. They stayed in communication with the scheduled students and helped get the schedule back on track when an examiner came. I haven't seen that level of customer service anywhere in a while. Things happen - but it's how a team handles a situation that matters. My daughter enjoyed all of the instructors, and really got confident at driving. I feel safe with her at the wheel. I loved how they empowered my teen to do all the scheduling and how they made it work. Thank you to Michele, Jacie, Dylan, and the amazing manager who helped on exam day :)
