Our private driving lessons include the fundamentals of defensive driving: turning, backing, changing lanes, keeping safe following distances, highway driving, parking, u-turns, 3 point turns, etc.

Negative experience: let me start by saying i NEVER write reviews but i am THROUGH with these people. a unprofessional driving school. yes i got lessons and got comfortable on the road BUT they failed to teach me how to PROPERLY park on the road, had me IN AND OUT of drive thru’s almost EVERY LESSON. my driver was sometimes on his phone while i was driving and chose to IGNORE the fact that i had the state drivers license test coming soon and made me go through a DUNKIN’ DONUTS DRIVE THRU. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND GETTING WITH THIS DRIVING SCHOOL, UNLESS IF IT WAS JUST MY DRIVER. PLEASE BEWARE BEFORE YOU PAY $600 FOR 6 LESSON THAT AREN'T ACTUAL LESSONS, YOUR A PERSONAL CHAUFFEUR THEN A DRIVING STUDENT.
Unfortunately what you're saying is not true. From the conversation we had on the phone, it sounds like you just never practiced. We always call the student before every lesson to confirm the appointment and see how everything is going, and you always praise the instructor and said how surprised on how comfortable you're getting behind the wheel. You also forgot to mention that you were also on I95, Sawgrass and the Turnpike. And yes we showed you what's on the Road Test, which includes parking. The problem was (which you informed me after the lessons) you still did not feel comfortable parking. Your instructor recommended that you take 2 more lessons, because you still needed more work on your turns and Parking, your parents declined. And said they will take it from here. And now you're telling me that your parents refused to let you work on your parking, which I found very odd. We can only do what we can with the time we have, some people pickup faster and some need a little more time. In the beginning you were an extremely nervous driver, but like you said in the start of your review you have gotten comfortable behind the wheel. And now you're telling me your parents would let you drive all over Broward County but don't park? (Your words!) I find it very strange. As we tell anyone taking driving lessons no matter if you're doing a small package or a larger package, you still need practice in between and after the lessons. As we inform all students and parents, lessons get the ball rolling you need to practice in between, your family is your homework. It is impossible for anyone to be a sufficient driver in only 6 lessons. No way. You also told me you're going for the Road Test tomorrow? Good Luck.
Fantastic experience: Mr.Kenny was probably the best driving instructor I've ever had. Not only was he very skilled but very accommodating. Passed my road test after only two lessons with his guidance.

Fantastic experience: I just finished my driving course and honestly one of the best driving schools out there. Typically I am a very anxious person but Charley made me feel much more comfortable and reassured me that I could pass the test and went over everything with me. I am more confident than ever that I am capable of passing and will pass my driving test on Monday! I’m so happy I had the opportunity to work with this driving school. Worth every penny.

Negative experience: Don’t chose this company. They don’t help you with your paperwork. Finished the course and was instructed to just print the Certificate of Completion and bring it with me to the DMV but it hey stupidly FORGOT to enter the information into the system. To make things worse… they don’t answer the phone number provided for after completion of courses. If you choose them…. Arm yourself with PATIENCE because you will need it!
Interesting review. It would be nice if you get your facts correct. First of all it's an online course, and when your boyfriend completed the course. It automatically is sent to the state of Florida. And he also was sent a Certificate of Completion. Unfortunately the State of Florida (D.M.V) was rejecting some of the Certificate, and found out a few weeks later the D.M.V was updating the system and this affected a few traffic schools, not just your boyfriend. When you call us we immediately call the provider to inform them of your situation. As well as they kept trying to resubmit the results. And yes it took around 48 hrs to get resolved. What I find interesting is that after this was resolved you called Affinity and thank us for all our help and getting this done. As I said from the beginning to your boyfriend and you we apologize for the inconvenience. But we just host the traffic school program just like most schools and are limited to make any changes. Only the provided can send or make adjustments on the Certificates.
(That's Florida Law.) Also WE, IN NO WAY IGNORED YOUR SITUATION. As you implied.

Fantastic experience: Lovely guys - easy to arrange/re-arrange lesson times, competitive price and enjoyable lessons. Charlie knows how to get you to relax behind the wheel and has great tips for passing the test. I also did the test through their third party and it beats waiting at the DMV for hours!

Fantastic experience: My dad signed me up for Affinity Driving School. It was the best decision he made. Before I went to the school, I was too nervous to drive. My instructor Charlie gave me so much confidence. Everyone at the school is professional and very caring. They seem to take personal interest in the person their teaching. I can't say enough, good things about the school and instructor they have. I'm no longer nervous and afraid to drive. If I were to rate the school and instructor on a scale one to ten, they'll would be a 10+. My many thanks to Affinity. Update: I’ve finally passed my driver’s license test on march 23!!! Negative experience: Took lessons got good reviews on driving but never followed through with road test
Your driving was coming along but you definitely needed more practice, and we did not feel comfortable with you using our cars for the road test. We did show you maneuvers for the test, you're an adult and you don't need permission to take the test and you have accessibility to cars at home and I'm sure there equipped with airbags we wish you good luck on the test..
