Roadmaster Drivers School of Louisville, KY

Fantastic experience: I recently attended Sheperdsville KY Roadmaster Driver CDL School CDL and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the very first day, the instructors were knowledgeable and supportive, providing hands-on training that was both thorough and engaging. The curriculum was well-structured, combining classroom instruction with ample behind-the-wheel practice, which helped me build confidence and skill in driving large vehicles. The school's fleet was modern and well-maintained, ensuring that we learned on the latest equipment. Thanks to their dedicated team, I passed my CDL test !!! I highly recommend the school School to anyone looking to start a career in trucking – they make the process enjoyable and successful!

Fantastic experience: I went here in July of 2024, it wasn't bad at all because my mindset was to learn as much as I can and be successful in passing my skills exam. I learned from every individual here from the office personnel to the instructors and they all did everything they could to help see each and every one be successful. I asked questions and most importantly I paid attention. Don't hesitate to ask questions if you don't understand GABE, MARK, CORY & TAMMY in PTI teaches PTI how the examiner expects you to do when your skills exam come. They are all great instructors you just have to want it for yourself. I passed my skill exam the first time thanks to the knowledge these guys provided. I'll recommend anyone anytime. Thanks again everyone.

Positive experience: The trainers are excellent, patient and friendly to work with, they are always fair

Negative experience: This place is a scam!! Lie to you from the very beginning! Told me only thing I had to pay out of pocket was for my DOT physical and drug test $200, everything else was included in with the financing. Then I had to pay for my own CDL permit test and then my final state driver test. I’ve held my CDL’s for twenty pluse years and decided to go a different direction in life and let my CDL’s go. 6 years later I want to get them back. The instructor Tammy has absolutely no clue to what she is doing. Yells at me because another student made her mad. Then I had to have her again on the offset parking part of the course because the original instructor was on a road course. I was having trouble and asked her what I was doing wrong and her reply was “I do t know, figure it out!” Then continues to charge me and yell because I asked another student for help. It’s mid July and very hot. Student were sitting with umbrellas for shade. I decide to bring a chair from home to sit on instead of the ground. While I was sitting in my chair I was in the designated safety zone. Carl said it was against policy and I asked for that policy and instead of providing it, he immediately kicked me out of the course. Mark and Gabe, two of the inspectors, are the only thing good about this place. You must stand at all times while taking this course for an industry that is 90% sitting. For the 3 weeks I was out learning the maneuvers, 6 of the 7 student to go take their final state driving test failed and had to take it over again, some as many as three different times, adding to your out of pocket expenses I highly recommend going somewhere else for your CDL training. This placee should be shut down!

Negative experience: This trucking school does not train their students to drive a manual truck. They do not have any manual trucks. This has been a big issue for my husband in finding a job at most companies who want their drivers to have both manual and automatic certification on their license.
