Project ADAM
Project ADAM is a non-profit community assistance center located in Winder, Georgia, dedicated to addressing substance abuse through comprehensive treatment and prevention services. Established in 1980 by a group of dedicated ministers, this center has been serving the community for over 40 years, providing a wide array of services to those struggling with addiction to drugs and alcohol.
At Project ADAM, we offer both residential and outpatient treatment programs, along with specialized services such as Clinical Evaluations, Anger Management, and a DUI School, all aimed at helping individuals regain control of their lives. Our residential treatment program is CARF accredited and designed for men aged 19 and older, combining group and individual therapy with faith-based recovery and vocational guidance.
Additionally, we provide an Outpatient Treatment Program, accepting both adults and adolescents, and partner with the Piedmont judicial system to offer services to individuals facing drug-related charges. If you or someone you love is struggling with addiction, we invite you to contact us and begin the journey to recovery.

Fantastic experience: Mike and Gina is God sent. all the facilitators here very caring and helpful. thanks drug court and judge Crawford.
Negative experience: The woman working the front desk is nice. Gina McDonald, the woman doing evaluations accused me of having oxy in my system, when a simple search would show the number one cause of false positives for Oxy is Naloxone, a medicine in Suboxone, which I am prescribed. After doing further screen at my doctor, it was negative. Didn’t bother to send it to the lab for confirmation, which is policy. She will treat you like you’re subhuman, and straight up acting like a bully. Clearly on a power trip, and clearly needs more education on addiction. Not to mention, she misspelled nearly all of my medications. Do not give these people money. They (Gina) has no interest in helping people, they’re just there for a paycheck. Will be hearing from my attorney. He said them dumping out the screen, and not sending it to the lab is a violation of policy, when it’s common knowledge that Suboxone can cause a false positive for Oxy bc of the Naloxone.
Fantastic experience: Project Adams had gone above and beyond to help with my alcohol assessment and was in constant contact with my out of state lawyers. The heart that went with this was awesome and I definitely recommend for anyone that is having issues contact this rehabilitation center.
