AAA Driving School

Negative experience: Everything started off great, class was great, a lot of observation hours available. Then, the no driving hours being available, started. Excuses around instructors not being available, and certainly the teachers did not limit students from scheduling all 10 hrs ahead of time and other students were completely left with no hours available to drive. This went on for weeks. There were students with literally no hours driven with instructors, or very little hours available to drive with instructors. Class instruction ended, and months have gone by and Bob Flight has provided absolutely zero support. We call nearly everyday, leave a message, and call the regional office, leave a message. No response, and no call backs. Bob Flight is completely not helpful. He makes up rules as well that is not on the contract, like his own beliefs that he feels the student does not have enough personal hours driven, so he literally just doesn't allow the student to schedule drives. Which is ridiculous by the way, as he is furthering the issue by not scheduling hours with students. I believe this place needs to be reviewed for their complete lack of customer service and professionalism as we have paid the contract in full before the classes started, performed personal self driving with adult supervision, only for Bob Flight to create rules so your son does not get hours to schedule with driving instructors. So, here we are months after class ended, and no one will call us back to help finish off my sons driving hours with the instructors, or lack of instructors available. So NOW, with my son back at school, and with a schedule full of after school activities (varsity sports), I have to check the schedule everyday and pray that hours open up DURING SCHOOL HOURS, to take him out of school and potentially have driving hours with an instructor. We are at a loss.. and now have no where to go. If this is what it costs to get this service, then please, do yourself a favor, and do not go to this hack driving school.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best driving school in the area. Having had 2 teens go through 2 different programs/driving schools, AAA was by far superior. Bob and all of the other gentlemen there were patient and positive with my daughter who was initially very nervous about drivers ed and driving in general, and who has some learning challenges. Within a week or two they put her at ease and made things seem so much more manageable, boosting her confidence tremendously. They communicated effectively and thoroughly with me after every drive and were so supportive when she completed the class and went for her license. They helped us navigate the chaos of scheduling the driving hours so she could complete them in a timely manner. She definitely put in time studying and practicing, but with their help she passed the knowledge test and road test on her first try! Not only are they effective but they actually made the experience wonderful!

Fantastic experience: I would like to say I was behind one of your driving school cars this morning 8/20/25 at about 9am going through Litchfield NH. Car lic plate #2722yk Maine plates, was doing a FABULOUS JOB! and following the rules of the road. They showed great patience despite the awful Red SUV NH plates 5568416 that almost hit the both of us in their rush to over take you on the road. Thank you for respecting the road and those around you.

Negative experience: I had an absolutely terrible experience with AAA Driving School. From start to finish, they were incredibly unprofessional, and I am beyond upset. The driver, named “Bob,” was extremely rude and unhelpful. Not only would he not pick up calls, but my class was also suddenly canceled without any notification. I wasn’t informed at all – no calls, no emails, no nothing – and after waiting for two weeks, there was still no response. To make matters worse, my mom was treated horribly during the lessons. When we confronted the staff about their rude behavior and lack of communication, things only got worse. From then on, the driver would shout at her, make nasty comments about her language, and treat her with utter disrespect. It’s truly shocking that a business like this operates without any regard for customer service or professionalism. Even after paying a significant amount for these lessons, all we expected was basic respect and a decent learning experience. This school needs to learn some basic etiquette. Just having a driving school does not make them professional. I do not recommend this place to anyone, and I am extremely disappointed in the way we were treated.

Fantastic experience: 100% recommend AAA Driving School! The instructors (Bob and Thom) are accommodating, kind, have great communication skills and are very knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about the Merrimack school. The second week in, my daughter loves the instructors and class. They are very patient with the students and their knowledge fills in any gaps I had from learning to drive 30 years ago. Normally I would wait until the end of the class to leave a review but I could not wait. I was hesitant to see some of the negative reviews, but in our experience, everything has been great!

Fantastic experience: Both our kids successfully completed Drivers Ed here and I cannot say enough great things about the school. The instructors, Bob and Ernie are amazing. Professional, friendly and genuinely care about the kids. The online scheduling tool was a welcome addition after COVID and was easy to use. My only criticism was the lead time needed to get a spot in the class - almost a year out but that in itself speaks volumes and it is worth it. Thanks to AAA - you guys are the best!

Fantastic experience: The instructors are fantastic and really great with the kids! Great communication throughout the class. The instructors provided useful feedback that helped us better prepare our teen driver. I highly recommend this driving school!

Fantastic experience: This school is great! Complete success. I've had three kids go through and I'm signing up my fourth child. The instructors are great! The instructors address questions and are available for help if needed. All of my kids learn differently and the instructors were able to successfully instruct all of my kids to meet their needs. I trust these guys with my children's lives!!!

Fantastic experience: An awesome program and very nice and considerate teachers. If you can't make it for driving or go for the test they reschedule you no questions asked. An all around great program and would recommend it to everyone

Negative experience: My experience began when after signing up 6 months in advance and paying the fee to reserve a spot, our bill and the paperwork we needed to sign didn't show up. After repeatingly calling over the course of a week, 5 days later someone finally picked up. We managed to submit the paperwork in time for the deadline, however we had to do so through their home office in Maine because the local branch wouldn't return calls. Before my first class, over the weekend, I was emailed a zoom link and information, I was asked to confirm that I had recieved it repeatedly, even though at the time I didn't have internet. My experience only got worse once the class started. The teacher was not sypathetic or even vaugly considerate to the classmate who had recently lost a family member in a car accident (even though he had been asked ahead of time to be aware). After repeatdly describing car accidents and deaths in excruciating detail, our insturctor went on too spout political views. Overall I was extremely unhappy with my first class and am considering asking to transfter to a different class to see if I can get a alternate instructor.

Negative experience: During the first lesson, an instructor was asked to be sensitive and understanding to his students. The instructor ignored these requests and complaints from several parents to continue being rude, disrespectful, and inconsiderate. If you care for your child at all, do NOT send them to this driving school.

Negative experience: Called a couple of time with no call backs, when starting the drivers course me brother got the address wrong and was a few minutes late. Instructor was not only extremely rude to me and my older brother that made the mistake. The Instructor wouldn't talk to us and continued to "YELL" "no" in our faces as if we were dogs... Not knowing what to do with that we stood dumbfounded .... and left immediately Due to this my brother and my mom are ending the memberships For reference (6/8/19)

Fantastic experience: Best driving school around! I attended the school in 2015 and they were super informative and thorough. They taught me a bunch of tricks and how to be a defensive driver. Using the lessons I learned at this school I have avoided many accidents in my years of driving. I scored a 100% on my driver's test thanks to AAA.

Fantastic experience: My son took this course last year. The instructors were fantastic. They have the upmost concern for safety on our roads and highways. I found this school to be such a comfort when my son was learning to driive, it was clear to me that he was really good hands!

Fantastic experience: I can’t believe AAA only has three stars. This is the best driving school (I’ve had experience with two in Merrimack). The instructors love their job, love the kids and the kids love them back. Every session for next year is sold out except one and due to volleyball I have to bring my daughter to another school and I am crushed!!

Fantastic experience: My son took the class and the instructors were great. They took him out in a snowstorm and there was a great tutorial of "what not to do" with the other cars off of the road. HIGHLY recommend
