Drivetech Driver Training: Reviews
Negative experience: Signed my 2 kids updated March 2020 spent over 800 dollars the owner couldn't refund me my money I agreed to wait till classes reopened once they opened it was online and I told them that wound not work my kids struggle with online learning we will wait or get a refund they never responded back I've been trying for years no return email or call going to small claims court
Negative experience: maybe not a totally fair review because I didn't actually even speak to anybody. I called the number that is listed on the website which appears to be a cell phone and without even one full ring went to voicemail and the voicemail box is full and cannot take any more messages at this time. must not be interested in having a functional business anymore. Cheers !
Negative experience: Dude never responds to calls or emails. Took me a month after finishing the course to get my license because he dragged his feet. Bribed his students with McDonald's on their last drive if they gave him 5 stars
Positive experience: The price is very reasonable which was important to us. Drivetech is SIGNIFICANTLY less expensive than other providers. Our son took a class in Eatonville and really liked the instructor. Driving sessions also went well and we didn't have a problem scheduling them as some reviewers mentioned. We did have only one occasion where the instructor had to cancel a scheduled drive last minute, but that is our only complaint. He hasn't taken the test yet, but I feel he is prepared.
Fantastic experience: It’s a nice driving school, he teaches good on driving, I prefer this driving school
Negative experience: The instructor is nice; it ends there. We went with them because it was close to home and the price was reasonable. I am not sure how many students is the average number for a class but there seemed to be way too many for one instructor. When my daughter took drivers ed 6 years ago at a different school, the class size was way smaller. We had a very difficult time scheduling my sons drives once the last class had been completed. As of the last day of class, my son still had 4 drives he needed to get in (I assumed all the drives would take place before the end of the classes). There were times where we would text, call, and email the instructor and after 2 weeks we still hadn't gotten a response. Finally now my son has all of his drives completed. Well, now trying to get a hold of his certificate of completion is another struggle. I messaged (call, text, email) for 2 weeks and finally got a response saying "I will call"...hmmm...no call yet. If I don't have his certificate of completion then he can't get his license. Oh, and the parent information night was the last week of classes but included important information that we should have been aware of the first week of class. Seems backwards if you ask me. Word of advice: pay the extra; go somewhere else!!!
Negative experience: Took money, although making it nearly impossible to schedule drives (the entire community bashes drive tech for this) the worst is they have not provided the state DOL completion of course- why is this important? Because they do not offer skill test and it can not be done by anyone else until they fullfill their obligation. Its basically theft, 3 months ago course completed, no response from drive tech, total crooks..
Negative experience: The price is affordabls yes but the service is horrible. Once my son was done with the classroom course he still hadn't finished his drives, when trying to contact him he would not return calls and we had to keep tracking him down. When he was ready to take his written test we we're told to text him the information, its been over a week and have heard nothing. I decided to go to a different company for his written and drive instead of waiting months! This company just takes your money and runs!
Negative experience: To make a long story short, very rude, doesn’t answer texts or calls, daughter still hasn’t finished course we paid for. We are out money and have no idea what’s next? He is cheapest in area, but be careful, you get what you pay for.
Fantastic experience: Best drive school around!! Keeps in touch with students, makes the class entertaining without sacrificing educational value, is always happy to answer questions and help students who need a little more instruction, plus its the cheapest around, but don’t let the price make you think any less of the service quality. You or your student will get an excellent quality course that walks you through everything a new driver needs to know! Unlike competitors who take 5 months or more to complete their training, drivetech does it in 6 weeks, as fast as they can according to the DOL restrictions on Drivers Ed schools. Your taught everything you need to know to become a successful and safe driver. A five star review and to anyone looking for a quality driving course look no further than DriveTech. I’ve been through it myself, and if i had kids I’d put their training in the hands of DriveTech!
Fantastic experience: Great!!
Fantastic experience: A fast and detailed class. Gives you more information than the average teacher and is willing to interact with students to give them the best experience.
Fantastic experience: Great teaching!! 10/10 would recommend
Negative experience: So much I could say but to keep this short, he is very unprofessional, doesn’t keep his word, doesn’t answer calls or texts. Puts off drives and even till the class is complete and your screwed with drives you need to complete. Bribes you to write good reviews to get nothing in return. I definitely don’t recommend this drivers ed at all. Yes it’s cheap but it is horrible. Go somewhere else and get your moneys worth for a good quality school.
Fantastic experience: This class helped me to become a safe and defensive driver. The class teaches everything a teen needs to learn all the driving skills they need to become a defensive driver as well. The driving instructor is very funny and he makes the class not boring like most of the other driving schools. GREAT CLASS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Fantastic experience: Awesome teacher who really cares about students. Makes drives comfortable and not stressful, and takes time to make sure we learn all content.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful teaching and an involved learning experience!
Fantastic experience: This class has been a great experience for our daughter at an affordable price. The instructor does a great job making the class engaging and informative, emphasizing safety at all times. He relates well to the students and as an instructor helps students gain confidence in their driving abilities. If you're looking for a solid drivers training in Pierce county, I'd highly recommend this class to others!
Negative experience: Horrible. The instructor in Graham is up in space or something.
Fantastic experience: It is a fun experience even while learning about mandatory subjects.
Fantastic experience: My daughter just recently finished her Drivers Training course with Drivetech Driving School in Graham. I was very pleased with the caliber of instructors that she had. They made sure she not only learned all the material that was required, but that she understood it, and was comfortable behind the wheel. I didn't realize how much I had forgotten, and she is now reminding me to be more cautious and to follow the laws of the road more carefully. It is making me a safer driver. I highly recommend Drivetech to anyone in the Graham area who is looking for a high quality driving school. They also have one of the best prices that I have found!! I will definitely be using them again in a couple of years when my son needs to take his Drivers Training course.
Fantastic experience: Drivetech Driver Training is a great school. We enrolled our son in the school and were pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and level that the school taught to. The owner of the school, Terri, holds himself to a higher standard and expects the same from his students. I would highly recommend this driver training and will soon be enrolling my daughter.
