Negative experience: Terrible instructors. Please have gas in your tank when someone gets picked up. I shouldn't be paying for an hour that includes fueling. Please take them out of Pulaski my son got no highway time with you. Please take them where there is a 1 way road. Teaching them by driving down the wrong side of the road is dangerous and unacceptable I don't care if you're a drivers ed car rules still apply. 6 one hour classes and you show up late. Had to prepare my son 100% by myself. Why did I pay you? Your reply doesn't even refer to my son. Must have happened to more than 1 person. You should have never told him he was ready for the road test, if you didn't feel he was safe enough for the highway. Also, he was not picked up at home he had to be back at school for a certain time. so no he did not receive any late time back. I see their reply was removed just want to clarify they stated my son was not safe enough for the highway. Yet they passed him.

Fantastic experience: Dave was amazing! A great instructor and person. Totally made me comfortable for taking my driving test in the near future. Thanks for everything!

Negative experience: the man at the school has been rude and is incompetent. He has stopped students from getting their lisence based on his opinion of their person instead of their ability to drive.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful time driving with Ann and Dave. They are both amazing teacher's, and were very positive people to be around. They gave constructive criticism when it was needed, and gave me many amazing driving tips/tricks that I will always remember. I am confident in my driving skills because of them. I highly recommend driving with 1st Rate!

Fantastic experience: Our family enjoyed working with Ann and Dave. Communication was easy and they were both friendly. My daughter enjoyed her conversations with both of them and was appreciative of what she learned from them. They helped give us a piece of mind as she grew in her driving journey.

Fantastic experience: I want to highly recommend First Rate Driving School. My son has anxiety and was very nervous about taking lessons. Dave and Ann put him at ease immediately. They were extremely patient and understanding with him. He actually looked forward to the lessons. Thank you Dave and Ann, for not only providing great lessons but also for the boost of confidence he received. By the way, he passed on his first try!!

Negative experience: They did great scheduling the driving instruction and were able to pick up my daughter. It was disappointing to hear that my daughter was yelled at when she made mistakes. She was not talked to professional manner. I did mention how nervous she was and did not get out much.

Negative experience: Their website claims to accommodate by meeting at your home, This is a complete lie. They live less then 4 miles from us and I had to drive my daughter 10 miles each way to meet Ann for lessons. My daughter had her first lesson in October. Ann sent me a text at 3pm on lesson day saying I needed to come pick my daughter up an hour early (4pm) instead of 5pm bc she had a cancelation. My daughter's next lesson wasn't until late December. This company seems to be more of a "side" business for them to make some extra needed cash, as they do not have time for you after they get your money. Communication is extremely poor (unless you ask about leaving the program) she will immediately get back to you on that topic, but did not inform me of the options I had at the time. if you have other general questions or to schedule, good luck. Half the time they are "out of the office" and leave a future date 2 weeks out of when they will be returning calls/emails. In the beginning of March she offered me available lesson times of April 24 and May 17th! Are you kidding me, over 2 months out. And of course I would have to drop off and pick my daughter back up in OCONTO FALLS, we live in Abrams! These people Absolutely DO NOT work with families. You are expected to basically bend backwards to accept the few and far dates that they offer or never get your license. Response to reply: please be truthful, you did NOT have Monthly lessons scheduled with her. You have canceled on us with a one hour notice for me to come pick her up and reschedule another time. We rescheduled 3 times with plenty of notice, due to....Christmas, tonsillectomy and vacation. You do NOT return calls/emails/text on "your vacation". You don't even communicate during your business hours you list! Sasha was homeschooling this year and I asked for day time lessons yet you only offered me after school times with pickup at a school. Your rating says it all. That is all.

Fantastic experience: Ann and Dave were both great to work with! I took the online course and had my behind the wheel with Dave. I would highly recommend taking the online course because the interactive videos were great! Dave was a great instructor, very calm and professional. Ann's communication was great as well, she always replied back right away when I had questions. If you are looking for a state of the art driving school, then I would go to 1st Rate Driving School!

Fantastic experience: I got my drivers license today thanks to Ann and Dave at the First Rate Drivers Ed program. Yay!! As a student I saw that the First Rate online driving lessons are intensive and understandable, and once it’s time for the drive times, the driving instructors make sure they run calmly and without a hitch for you. Both instructors Dave and Ann are sweet, and they communicate to set up drive times fast and easily. They’re kind, and as a student they make sure you understand and know how to do everything that you need for your drivers test and for driving on your own. They made learning to drive an easy and comfortable experience for me and i feel super prepared for the road! I really enjoyed driving with Anne. Thanks guys!

Negative experience: My daughter started the course when she was 15 1/2 and she is 19 now and still doesn't have her license yet. He kept promising to take her out driving and then he kept canceling on her and taking kids younger than her driving. Wouldn't recommend this school for anyone and believe that he owes us some money back.
