Fantastic experience: I just finished CDL school, and honestly this was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. When I first started, I was nervous and unsure if I’d be able to get through it, but the instructors never let me give up on myself. They pushed me, encouraged me, and reminded me why I was there every single day. It wasn’t always easy, but they made sure we understood the lessons and had the confidence to get behind the wheel. They cared about us as people, not just students. That’s what really stuck with me. Walking away from this program, I feel proud of myself and ready for what’s next. If you’re thinking about getting your CDL, I promise this school will give you the support, guidance, and motivation you need to make it happen. Shoutout To All The Instructors

Fantastic experience: I attended class here in February of 2025. Jeremey Brewster was my instructor and he was an awesome instructor! I came in with zero big truck driving experience and left with my Class A CDL in 4 weeks. Jeremey did a great job instructing our class and the other instructors were great filling in on the driving and pre trip work.

Negative experience: I got my CDL from this school in January of 2023, and I’ve meant to make a review for a long time but never came around to it. The school can be good depending on circumstances and instructors. I had the black guy, Cleveland I think? Some people say he’s a good instructor, but in my case he did a horrible job. My group had 3 people. 1 was this girl who was so bad she never learned to properly straight back before flunking out. I’m not sure If it was racial bias or if Cleveland just really liked this girl, but he spent ALL what little time we had teaching this girl, who just couldn’t get it… You have like a week and a half to learn the 3 maneuvers and how to drive manual, and you have very little time each day that’s split between your group. Well Cleveland spent so much time flirting and playing with this girl that neither me or the other guy learned the ninety. When test day came I only did the ninety once in practice. You only get 3 chances to pass the test, then you fail the school. Well me and the other guy in our group failed the ninety twice. We both kept telling the staff we didn’t practice enough, and that most of the time was taken by the girl who at this point flunked out, but it was passed off like we just couldn’t get it. After failing the test the second time the other guy told Cleveland that we weren’t taught the ninety, and that he wanted a refund if they were gonna fail us on something we were poorly taught. (We both paid out of pocket) He made a smug remark that we already paid the school and we weren’t getting a refund so it didn’t matter if we learned it or not they already have our money. It took another instructor telling me a trick that I hail Marry’d and crossed my fingers to pass the ninety on the third attempt. I thankfully got my CDL. I drove for a year and a half box truck and flatbed and I’ve done thousands of ninety’s. I can do a ninety blindfolded, so I wasn’t the problem. His half ass effort was the problem, and the organization didn’t have my back. I acknowledge the trainers are knowledgeable and you can learn a lot from them, and I acknowledge that most people get through the school without issue, but there is cracks that if you fall in you’re on your own. Best advice is to raise hell if you’re not being taught properly, because by the time it’s test day coastal has already deposited your money and their focus and energy is on the next class.
