Fantastic experience: No longer in business. I spoke to Erica

Negative experience: I called Silver State driving academy to schedule driving lessons for my daughter, I was really specific scheduling the dates because my daughter goes to school and has a job. The lady called to confirm the dates and the time, but now I have this Joe person texting me trying to change the schedule telling me he would like to pick her up two hours later because he wants to have more sleep. I scheduled 8-10 am, and then he started to treat me poorly. I told him I was a paying customer. All I am asking is to respect the agreed time, and he texted me to have a cow and why the big fuss. This company should hire professional drivers.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to the academy and to the instructor Mr. Joe. I passed my driving test the first time.

Negative experience: didn't really learn much and got yelled and made to feel a fool my driver was name was Joe

Fantastic experience: Excellent driving school. Joe was an excellent teacher. I thank him for his expertise I would have never had the time or effort to go get my license if it was not for him

Fantastic experience: Passed my driving test today on the first attempt. Mr. Joe had been my instructor preparing me for the test. He's extremely knowledgeable on the road & how to drive correctly. Las Vegas definitely needs more driving instructors like him, I honestly can't recommend him enough

Negative experience: Absolute rubbish. Waited 6 weeks and they never showed up. Claiming they had my contact info wrong also they claim the car broke down. They also said that the driver was at my address but never knocked. The lady on the phone kept apologizing and talking over me and admitting what a bad company it is. I wish I could give 0 star.

Fantastic experience: Great school with a great instructor!

Fantastic experience: Students fail there test and the first thing they look for is an excuse and blame someone else. This student was taken to his test he was taken on all his lessons. So be it.

Negative experience: Turn around and walk away, this place is a mess. Paid $680 for drivers lessons and the exam for my husband. Instructor Joe never took him to exam (a completely different dude had to show up last minute and it was a different car which is difficult for new drivers) and would end lessons an hour early. Always showed up on wrong times as well. My husband failed his driving exam and the instructor said he’s now too “busy” to help my husband. My husband hasn’t improved in driving skills and they didn’t teach him how to park! Don't go with this driving school. **edit** just to clarify, I have a ring doorbell. It sees who comes and who goes to my door. I have the instructor on videos (with timestamps) cutting us short an average of 45 minutes per lesson. It’s seriously outrageous.

Negative experience: DONT GO HERE! Driving instructor was coughing in car and possibly gave me covid!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended driving school, especially with no driving experience like me. Thank you for my instructor Joe, for sharing his knowledge, expertise and being patient. It was very helpful to built my confidence that I can do it. Because of that, I passed my road test for the first try. Thank you, I've learned a lot during my driving lessons. More power to the company and the employees. God bless.

Fantastic experience: I will be on the road and it feels good and the freedom as well.

Positive experience: I don't post reviews often but most of the reviews posted were from 2 years ago. I picked this school upon recommendation. I won't say who my instructor was but they didn't do a very good job in making me relaxed or confident while I was driving. Pointing out all the mistakes I was making and tell me what sort of things could result in point deduction in the DMV test. Good instructor, helpful tips (few things I didn't know before), answered all my questions, but could have done better at making the student (me) more comfortable and confident in driving. They didn't even ask me what car I was going to use for the driving test.

Fantastic experience: This is a great school. Norman was my instructor. He was professional and patient because I barely knew the basics and lacked confidence, I would definitely recommend him if you want to learn how to drive. Now I must say I failed my test the first time but that was my fault because I messed up the parallel parking but I did pass the second time. I would tell you my score but I failed to ask because I was just happy that I passed. Thank you Norman for working with me and giving me the knowledge to pass my test: it has been a pleasure.

Positive experience: Joe was always giving me great tips,confidence to drive and tricks to make driving easy. It was good experience with Silver academy and their decent rate.

Fantastic experience: Great school with patient instructors. I've got chance to drive with Ty. I had no driving experience and Ty made me relax and bring confidence. I've got my driving test done with 100%. If you're looking for driving school, this is a best one. You will have 2 hours of experience behind the wheel for the best value. I hope I helped someone with my review. Thank you Ty for teaching me how to drive!!!

Fantastic experience: Llame para informacion, y la persona que me atendio (Belisa), fue muy amable y muy paciente. Lo que no ocurre con otras companias. Desde luego que se gano mi confianza y voy a tomar las clases de manejo con ellos.
