Driving Force Academy is a Lafayette-based driving school owned by veterans, dedicated to providing quality driver education for both teens and adults. Here, safety is our top priority, and we emphasize comprehensive training that combines safe driving techniques with real-world demands.

We offer Louisiana state-approved courses at unparalleled prices: the 14-hour adult course is just $400, and the 38-hour teen driver education course is available for $450. A $150 deposit is required to secure your spot, with full payment due 7 days prior to class.

Our instructors are certified and trained to provide quality education. We have flexible driving schedules available seven days a week, and we also offer email and text reminders for your scheduled driving sessions, ensuring a stress-free and convenient learning experience.

Fantastic experience: I came to class on a Saturday and paid 100 dollars less then any other school in the area and took my 6 hour class. Then I took my four 2 hour behind the wheel tests Tuesday through Friday and took my actual road skills test on Sunday. It took me 8 days in total to get my license. The service was amazing because of how respectful the drivers was. It was a amazing experience and recommended it to all adults that need there license.

Negative experience: I was in the adult driving class with Mr. Picard he was a really good teacher and helped with anything that we needed. As of the school itself has bad customer service doesn’t answer the phone. And one of the workers in the office told me when I went to pick up my paperwork I shouldn’t have schedule my appointment at the dmv due to my paperwork not being ready when I was giving a time to come in between 11-1pm. As of the 8 hours behind the wheel I can’t complain Mr. Cullen he was a nice instructor behind the wheel. He made sure we did everything right and he gets to know his students and hold conversations with us and make sure we are ok. I really recommend him and Mr Picard when driving. Thank you all and Mr Cullen especially

Negative experience: The class and behind the wheel training instructors were very good and helpful but when I was ready to schedule my road skills test the lady Ms.Pat was very unprofessional. I’ve called and texted her multiple times since Tuesday and she keeps avoiding me and telling me she will call me back later. I don’t know why she’s doing this but it’s very unprofessional.
