Fantastic experience: Rest in peace David

Fantastic experience: Mr. David is professional and punctual. Just tell him what are your weaknesses and he start working right on it. He makes sure that the driving experience is safe and you are improving on your weaknesses. He took me to interstate to boost up my confidence and also made my lessons very productive. He is the best driving instructor in town.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. During the lesson the instructor would take phone calls, we went to go get his car washed, and when i made mistakes he would continuously push on my thighs which made me extremely uncomfortable. Also failed to mention that his dad and sister had covid, only found out while he was talking to his dads doctor over the phone during my lesson. He did teach me some things but whenever I made mistakes he would seem annoyed then laugh it off. Overall not a very good experience would get ur lessons elsewhere

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible experience, first and foremost his family had COVID 19 and he didn’t notify us we only found out because he was CONSTANTLY on calls during the class and he mentioned his sister and dad have COVID 19. When we told him we wanted to cancel the classes he got defensive and said “this why i charge for all the classes up front” thank god we decided to pay class per class. Secondly this man needs to get a maintenance check on his car his alignment is seriously messed up and on top of that he’d constantly nag me and tell me to let off the break WHEN HE WAS THE ONE ON THE BREAKS. 3rd and lastly I did not appreciate him pushing his political views on me constantly during the drive, it was extremely unprofessional. Would 1000% take your money somewhere else

Fantastic experience: By far the best way to finish your 6 hours behind the wheel. David is the BEST driving instructor in the game! He’s helped me build confidence behind the wheel and especially on the highway! He made everything so “EZ”. Thank you very much 1 EZ Driving School. Will definitely recommend y’all to all my friends and family! 10/10 experience!

Fantastic experience: David was fantastic for my 15 year old daughter!! David was very patient. He showed up on time every day to drive. Most Driving instructors are grumpy and angry. David is not any of this. My daughter said he was fun to learn to drive with. She learned so much about driving.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best experience ever! David definitely knows what he is doing and provides simple but great instructions while driving. This was my FIRST time on the road and I felt 100% safe. I drove for 2 hours and it definitely didn’t even feel like 2 whole hours. I will be booking David and 1ez Driving School for the remaining of my lessons! I highly recommend, you will not regret it.

Pick up and drop off included in package with practice road test. I got my driver license on my first try and I would never have been able to accomplish that without him. Fantastic experience: When I first started driving with David I didn't have much confidence in myself however that was not the case with David he saw my potential as a good driver and he also saw the potential for me to pass and get my driver's license I had a wonderful experience driving with David his encouraging words and patience gave me confidence and that was enough for me to pass the driving test and get my driver's license I'm happy to say that without David I probably would have had a lot harder time getting my license with David it was easy I would definitely recommend this to any first time driver or nervous adult because if I can pass then anybody can pass

Fantastic experience: David is a wonderful instructor. I always looked forward to his driving lessons. Not only did he teach me all there was, to learn about driving, he also helped boost my confidence by making me drive over long distances and in all sorts of weather. Plus the way he prepped me up for the driving test, there was honestly no way I could actually fail that. I totally recommend his driving lessons!

Fantastic experience: Called last minute needing a driving lesson, new to the area, needed transportation. Not only was I able to schedule an appointment, David was able to fit me in, very flexible to my busy schedule; picked me up and instructed me all the way up until my test. Passed with flying colors. David is an honest teacher with excellent people skills, and if you're a new driver or even just need to brush up on your should, then this is the right place.

I had anxiety and fear of driving on highways ,but with the help of Mr David ,I feel comfortable now. I am new to charlotte, he was my instructor and my tour guide as well. Negative experience: He is a very nice man but he is very money and ask for extra because i was 2 minutes late and took our 200 dollars

Fantastic experience: Great Experience! Mr Denning, is a great instructor.. very patient didn't yell at me even if committed a mistake. He would just explain it to me nicely, what I did wrong and we'll just do it again. The last day of my lesson he told me that I am ready and I am going to pass my road test the next day.. Hearing him say that boast my confidence that I can do it. I am a new driver and I passed my road test on my first attempt.. My husband is pleased and I couldn't be more happy... I would definitely recommend this company to anyone whose looking for a good driving school. Thank you so much for your help Mr Denning..

Negative experience: I have a good bit of time behind the wheel but not my own vehicle so I needed one in order to take the test. I decided to go with this school because they offer use of their car for the driving test for a fee which I found reasonable. The instructor was friendly over the phone so I wasn't nervous about driving with them. However, the actual lesson was a nightmare. David was my instructor and he physically hurt me during the lesson a few times when I did something he identified as wrong. He slapped my hand and grabbed and squeezed my leg several times, causing me physically pain and making me feel scared to be in the car with him. He was also very abrasive and condescending towards me which only made me more nervous and made me make silly mistakes I wouldn't usually make behind the wheel. I will never use this driving school again and will never recommend to anyone either! if it wasn't for the fact that he took my money from me up front, I wouldn't have paid him at all!

Fantastic experience: Received my license after a week of lessons. David is a patient instructor and easy to understand. I got enough practice to do well on the DMV road test.

Negative experience: This guy started out fine but then turnd ugly after just two lessons. He was mad we paid for lessons individully. After completing two lessons I scheduled 3 more for a packet. We canceled one due to unpredictable circumstances. He then canceled the next lesson because he was mad. When calling to confirm my last lesson he acted rudely and hostile. I told him he seemed like he did not want our money. He told me to keep my money and he would never do lessons again. Now when you are paying almost $100 per lesson you would think you could get some service. His response is that he had no way to get his money back for the lesson we missed. ( Really OUR money). His reaponse- and I quote, " I am too busy for cancelations." Well obviously too busy for my money. Found another service that came highly recommended. Dont use this guy.

Fantastic experience: I recently relocated from London in the UK to Charlotte, NC, and at 34 had never learned to drive. With Charlotte not having the level of public transport I was afforded in London, I had to learn, and quickly. I made a great choice in selecting to drive with David at 1EZ Driving School! After just 5 lessons over the course of a week I feel confident behind the wheel, and where I was once anxious at the thought of driving, I now look forward to it. David's teaching was relaxed but authoritative, so I felt completely at ease once I had settled in to driving, and I knew I had his support to stop me from making catastrophic mistakes! All in all I had a great time with David and can only urge you to give him a call, whether you need to start from scratch or just need some pointers in certain areas, David will get you sorted.

Fantastic experience: I'm an adult (30 years old) and always avoided learning how to drive for a number of reasons, mainly really anxious behind the wheel, so I never really persued getting a lisence. With a few lessons in parking lots, and a tiny bit of experience on the road, I called David. I called about a month in advance for lessons during the summer (the busier time of year), and I got an appointment for one weeks worth of lessons. Two days were rescheduled because of rain, which ended up being perfect because he made up the time on the weekend before my test. He was very relaxed, and easily redirects the wheel so the driver learns what the movements should feel like. He clearly enjoys his job and is very informative. I passed my test the first time, and moe importantly thanks to David's lessons I feel prepared to continue practicing on my own. His wife does the afternoon lessons, and I never had a lesson with her. Overall good experience, and I would recommend them to any new driver.
