Fantastic experience: This is a great place for your child to learn how to drive. The lady that runs it is tough but fair. My daughter had her my son has her currently and my 14-year-old will be attending in a few years. I highly recommend using this company

Negative experience: She kicked my daughter out of the school after the first drive time. She said she couldn't trust her because she palmed the wheel in the parking lot. My daughter asked questions from the backseat, which the instructor did not answer, and told her she had an attitude.

Fantastic experience: I took the class and it was very easy and fun. Mrs. D was very patient with me and never yelled at me for my mistakes she calmly explained what I had done wrong at what to do next time. She is a very good driver instructor. Fantastic experience: This is in response to the review by Lindsay Birnie. I am the owner of Auto XL Driving School. I do not know Lindsay Birnie and I have never conducted business with Lindsay Birnie. However, on November 22, 2021in the parking lot of my driving school, myself and a parent of a student I was teaching witnessed a woman who I believe was Lindsay Birnie participate in an activity that raised our concern. Upon witnessing this activity, I called the police. The Livingston County Sheriff Department as well as the Howell Police responded. Lindsay Birnie’s remarks are libel and slanderous against myself and my company.

Negative experience: Large miserable woman owner is very nosey and rude. Would never recommend this school to anyone who cares how they or their children are treated!

Fantastic experience: It was only my first day there but the instructor is super nice and she always talks about getting stuff done as fast and efficiently as possible. She also is very thorough with cleaning.

Fantastic experience: As a student who has finished Segment 1 (going to go for Segment 2), I felt I learned a lot of important information that is very useful when driving. Also, my parents believe that AutoXL accurately taught me how to drive with my total of 6 hours of behind the wheel time. I would recommend AutoXL to learn how to drive and drive well!

Negative experience: Called marijuana a hallucinogen. Also, said that a child that was in a car accident, who had no motor function after, called him a vegetable. Disappointed. Incredibly rude

Negative experience: Instructor plays on her phone with earbuds in while students are learning to drive. Driving vehicle often has break lights out.

Fantastic experience: The owner/teacher saved my daughter's life when some jerk pulled out Big Boy like a bat out of hell and tried to tbone the training car. If she hadn't been paying attention as well as she was, it would have been bad. Real bad.
