Negative experience: Easy to pass but extremely degrading instructor. Edit: I will be more specific. Overall my instructor seemed to be helpful and gave good insight when needed, but his demeanor I found to be degrading, he would call my fiancé “turkey”, and made comments about how us “girls” are fast at typing in card information and why.

Negative experience: Very quick and easy way to burn $80. SCAM ALERT. Response was prompt, but the test was over and money gone just as promptly. Can’t speak for all of the testers, but if you hear the name Marsha decline and RUN!! Very curt and sour demeanor. I dared to ask a confirming question and the response was, “it was in the text message, you should prepare better”. You mean the one I read once 5 days prior. Gee I’m sorry I did prepare, my apologies my medication had other plans. Marsha would not administer the road test saying my child made too many mistakes in the parking lot. When directly asked about receiving a copy of the test the request was denied. (I believe multiple marks were taken for a single move that should have garnered a single mark.) Was told my child would need extensive practice before retaking the test, but could come back and retest for $10 less. (How convenient). Miraculously went to another tester just a few days later and passed flawlessly. Guess they didn’t need extensive additional practice.

Mr. Johnson,

I would like to respond to some of your accusations. The test given to your child, is a Michigan State driver’s test, not a particular examiner’s test. Michigan state examiners are trained by the state, are expected to keep the integrity of the test, and are audited once or twice a year to ensure that we adhere to the standards the State has stipulated. It is explained at the beginning of the test that the driver must be able to pass the parking portion of the test, in order to proceed to the road portion (again, State regulations – not the examiner’s). You asked for a copy of the test, which is not allowed by the State. It is a State test, and that test sheet is turned into the State at the end of each month, and by order of the State we are under no circumstances permitted to give a copy of the test to customers. Unfortunately, your child did not pass the parking exercises that day, and their test was scored in the same manner that I have been scoring tests for 27 years.

Now in response to my attitude when you were at the front of the building instead of behind it where the test site is, let me apologize. It is frustrating when so much effort is put into clear instructions on how to find us and how to be prepared for the test, and clients don’t read it.

In closing, I’m glad to hear that your child’s second attempt was successful.

Fantastic experience: Calling and scheduling the appointment was very easy. Justin the instructor/examiner was so easy going, calmed my nerves and made casual conversation while taking the test. felt like I was driving with an old friend. couldn’t have gone better!

Fantastic experience: Answered all calls and called back promptly. office personnel were very accommodating, easy to deal with and professional at the same time. I would highly recommend this service. I passed my CDL B. Examiner Rachel was very professional and easy to test with. Clear concise direction through out the test course.
