D & D Auto School: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Affordable
Negative experience: If you are thinking of going to THIS driving school, save your money & go somewhere else. They overcharge a lot and it’s not even worth it. Don’t get me wrong, David is a nice guy and jokes around, but when it came to the real deal at a road test, he will blame you at everything. My first road test was either “Braintree Granite Ave or Watertown”, and I chose Braintree (BIG MISTAKE). Not only that, he even told me the examiner was a “cool & chilled guy” and I took his word for it. As soon as the road test began, the examiner was tough. David I’m sorry and I am thankful that you have taught me everything, but I guess I was not good enough when you blamed me when clearly you are my instructor and you were the one that taught me to drive. Went to a different driver school and passed my road test there. Hope this helps. Best of luck everyone.
Fantastic experience: I am a past learner and I had the best teacher, so that's where my 5 stars come in. I am not sure how the school is now but my son will be signing up for lessons soon.
Negative experience: The driver school is extremely unprofessional. Don't even waste your time here, can't even learn anything from them. I took a class somewhere else and realized that instructor can actually be helpful.
Negative experience: Their instructor treats his students as if they are garbage. He would yells and insults his student when you're a complete beginner and knows nothing. He would ask you to do things and angrily questions you why you do certain things when he don't teach you the proper way to do it(just very uneffective teaching and a waste of your time and money). Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I do not recommended this driving school at all, take your driving lessons somewhere else for your own sake.
Negative experience: very bad experience.they worry about money only . they’re very rude
Negative experience: ridiculous expensive. not even worthy for one star.
Fantastic experience: I got a 45 minute lesson at D&D as a brush-up for my road test the next day. The lady at the office was very sweet, and it was easy to schedule my lesson. The instructor was very to-the-point, and gave me really good tips on general driving and parallel parking. Thanks to D&D I was able to pass my road test easily. With their prices being quite lower than other driving schools, I would definitely recommend. Thanks for helping me pass my road test!
Negative experience: The lady was really rude. And she hanged up the phone twice. No Customer care. Never going back there
Negative experience: Front desk staff have attitude when talking to people, basically yelling, not very conscious about personal space either, not accomodating, not a good experience overall, we only did one class and moved on to another school.
Positive experience: Good customer service and they are sweet and nice with the customers
Fantastic experience: Nice place. David and the lady at the front desk were great. David even let me make a pit stop to grab a drink on the way. Cool place, glad I chose them. Also, best price in Boston for road test sponsorship.
Positive experience: Good
Fantastic experience: I’ve taken around 4 classes and have a few more scheduled with Danny and he is very helpful ! Everyone is sweet and very affordable prices. The instructor was very patient with me since it was my first time driving. I’ve learned quite a lot in such a short amount of time. I recommend!
Negative experience: They just want your money - nothing else
Fantastic experience: They accept last minute sponsorship's, polite, gave advice, cheap, and drove me to road test location. It was a great, fast, and straight forward experience. I passed my road test and the sponsor was so surprised that he congratulated me, that was cool.
Negative experience: Not a good fit for me. Took 8 lessons.
Negative experience: Instructors do not engage and communicate with students. Very sharp and rude corrections given by instructors and lack of actual instructions and information while driving. How can you get mad at me when I don’t know even know I’m doing wrong?
Negative experience: They only worry about your money, they wouldn't teach you the important things that's required for the road test.
Fantastic experience: Choi is great to work with! Very experienced and patient! I learned so much after only the first lesson. Prices are great I would definitely recommend. See you soon D&D!
Negative experience: Poorly run driving school. Little instruction for driving lessons and disorganized scheduling for road test. Instructor was late and refused to refund the time and the driving instruction felt like more of a quick way for them to make money than meaningful instruction on how to pass the road test. If you already know how to drive and just need a car/sponsor, D & D Auto School meets the bare minimum requirements. If you need actual driving instruction and lessons that will help you pass the road test, I strongly advise that you try another driving school.
Fantastic experience: Good place to learn driving. I wanted to take a 6 days course, and was willing to pay in advance, but they advised me to take two lessons at first, and test myself whether I could take a road test with fewer classes. What a nice sugesstion Scheduling was super easy. And, they boosted my confidence even before taking a class. Everyone was so polite. After reading few reviews, I was skeptical about this place, but places like these don't really care about the google reviews, and on the top of all they don't spend on buying fake reviews. Among hundreds of people they serve nicely, few people who are not happy with them for some reason turn out to be their reviewer. This is why this school has low rating, and few bad reviews. But, you should give them a chance, and I am pretty sure they wouldn't let you down. And, Danny is such a nice instructor. I would love to rate him 5/5.
Fantastic experience: They were very polite and Wei Choi was great to work with.
Positive experience: everything was quick and convenient for me (a high school student)
Negative experience: They suck. Would not recommend at all .
Negative experience: The worst driving school, the only important thing is your money. People in the front are so rude.
Fantastic experience: is a very nice school to learn how to drive. D & D driving school build my confident in driving.. Although i fail my road test with them but still is a very good school. i went to lynn -MA for my second road test and i passed.
Negative experience: Very bad school should be shut down all they care about is your money cant even understand them only if you you under stand there language other than that waste of money not even good for road test examiners automatically fail people from these driving school s because they are cheap ...all they care about is money they dont care if u know how to drive or not
Negative experience: Me: today I passed the quiz test, what I should do now? Woman: look on your shoulder, there is a sheet, read it! I said everything
