AAA Garden City Driving School

Fantastic experience: Very polite and informative response when I called. However, I was told they don't offer the 5 hour pre-licensing course anymore, and the driving lessons are only available Monday through Thursday from noon to 4 pm. They are booked through December (as of September when I called). So I could not go with them given this schedule.

Fantastic experience: Paul was a fantastic driving instructor! He gives clear, concise instructions and is both an experienced driver and a caring teacher! Regardless of your experience level, he will meet you at your level and strengthen your confidence on the road. He’s communicative with his students and flexible if lessons don’t seem to work out with your schedule. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Mr. Paul is a patient, professional instructor. He helped give my son a bit more confidence in his ability to drive in NY, and driving in NY is a feat in itself! Having a great instructor and not a nervous parent teaching is ideal for a learning environment. I have recommended AAA driving school to my PTSA. The only draw back with the school is not having the 5 hour class included in the package, when I booked I was told it was included only to find out I had to pay another school. Thank-you Paul

Fantastic experience: It's no exaggeration when I say that this is the best way to get the basic foundation in understanding not only how to operate a motor vehicle but also understanding the rules of the road. The instructor Mr Paul is a phenomenal teacher. He's patient persistent and quite thorough in his teaching methods. It is only because of my lessons with Mr Paul that I now have my license and will now move forward a cautious and responsible driver.

Both my kids had a great time with him and if you’re trying to get confidence, practice, and be comfortable on the road he’s your best bet! Simple to follow lessons will have necessary driving procedures down within a couple classes. The experience is only found here and I would highly recommend this School and the instructor Paul if you want to pass the road test.

I knew how to drive but it’s been a while and I didn’t know how to parallel park. Howie gave me a great technique and also confidence and valuable pointers for the road test.
