Negative experience: Mr Reid is very unprofessional. He yells and curses at his students. Please take your money else where!

Negative experience: This place was suggested to me by a friend however the teacher of the written part was awesome and great with the kids. But Mr Reid is not! My daughter came home today traumatized and crying saying the old man took her on the interstate on a Saturday, one of the busiest days and made her do his errands. My daughter has never been out of a parking lot before and has never been over 15 mph. She did not know what she was doing. He yelled at her cursed at her and made her feel very uncomfortable. I strongly suggest you have Mr Manuel teach your child to drive if you go there.

Fantastic experience: Great service and my daughter learned a lot. She received her permit on the first try.

Positive experience: I only completed the driving portion for six hours. You just have to be patient with Mr Reid. He’s an older man so yes he might be a little late to your sessions. He’s really stern but effective. He goes by an older way of driving so if you learned a different way in your drivers ed class let him know that , he wants you to be comfortable. He’s really a sweet man, just got really bad nerves. You might think he’s being mean but trust me he’s not. Again just be patient with him.

Negative experience: The instructor is very nice, but he’s also very effective, having people want to help you is a really good feeling and one of the charms of this place. Another charm is the simulator game, while it may be hard to learn it, it’s a bit easier to master, it helps you with having fun but also learning! But, The driving portion takes this review from 5 stars to 2, Mr. Reid is very stern and while you're driving he'll tell you to do things you're already doing and he isn't very clear on directions, he also is very prone to being late, and it doesn't matter if your first lesson or last he'll treat you the same.

Fantastic experience: Mr Reid is a very patient instructor especially new learners . Please give him an opportunity to teach teach you.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed the driving simulator game. I’m more of a hands on Leaner so I really enjoyed the driving simulator. Mr Campbell is an amazing teacher and he really engages his students because of how energetic he is and his great sense of humor.

Fantastic experience: You learn really fast and Mr. Campbell is a good, fun teacher! Elevator to the bathroom is sketch though.

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Manny, and he was very patient and encouraging when it came to this being my first time behind the wheel. I hated that he wouldn’t let me quit or give up, but I’m glad he didn’t because I became self aware and improved a lot! And now I have my license, so thank you to At the Wheel Driving Academy and Manny for my great experience!

Fantastic experience: Mr Campbell was really fun and engaging! The people in the class were so nice! Mr. Reid is elderly and has a lot of experience though we did go to McDonalds and Bojangles every time I drove.

Negative experience: As soon as they answered, there was way too much background noise to the point i couldn't understand what they were trying to say. After they finally went away from the noise he was unprofessional, he sound like he couldn't be bothered and called me "baby". I do not appreciate that from a supposed to be professional environment. I called about driving classes for adults. They don't have any, though I've called other schools and they have some available. so after all that i wasn't able to take any classes.

Negative experience: The Class section was awesome! The teacher Mr. Cambell was great. BUT the driving portion was HORRIBLE!!!!! Mr. Reid is and old, cranky, and confused man who is NOT qualified to have this job. He was late every time I had a session. And ONLY yells at his students. The first session we called after 45 minutes and he forgot and then showed up later that day! The second session I called to confirm and he still showed up 30 minutes late!!! The last session I called to confirm three hours before and the didn't answer called two more times between then and the session and he still didn't answer then I finally got through and he had forgot!!! he came to my house straight after that though. His teacher methods are even worse!!!! He's the worst teacher I have ever met!! DON'T TAKE DRIVERS EDD WITH THIS PLACE! IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

Positive experience: It was a great class, great instructor and the gaming simulator was a great experience and it helps you know what to do when you start driving.

Fantastic experience: It was an amazing experience! The driving simulator is pretty cool and surprisingly realistic lol. I would recommend this class to anyone looking for a Drivers Ed school.

Fantastic experience: Thank you, Manny for being patient with my son and teaching him the necessary tools that he will need to become a safe driver. JT come home from class raving about the new things that he learned in class and want to learn more. Fantastic experience: At the Wheel driving Academy is an awesome driving school and I highly recommend it!! My child was new to the driving world but the Instructor "Manny" really took his time with my child, went above and beyond which most will not do, he made him feel confident and comfortable to drive. Now, he is excited to get behind the wheel and talks about different things he learned or was told to do during drivers ed course. We were able to start the class within a week from sign ups and was on the way to the road testing shortly after. These guys are fast, funny and humorous. We love at the wheel driving academy and would highly recommend this driving school for any teenager! Thank you Manny!!

Fantastic experience: As I read the previous reviews left on here I was very shocked it was completely different than the experience that I had I feel that the instructors did an awesome job with the classroom and driving experience I am very glad that my mom picked this driving academy establishment for me I had a wonderful experience and enjoyed learning at this facility I would definitely recommend any to give them a try!!!!

Fantastic experience: My son just completed this school and had a really good time. He did his class time and driving all in one week so it was fast and affordable and I could tell he gained a lot of knowledge from the class because he came home everyday telling me about what they had talked about.

Fantastic experience: When I first heard that the instructor has you drive to Walmart or errands, I paused. Then I thought- that is brilliant! I WANT my child to know how to get in and out of Walmart on a Saturday morning! I told my child to ask him to take you through a drive thru! My child did cry the first day driving- but she needs to know how to drive in ALL types of conditions. THE CLASS ROOM PORTION WAS AMAZING! EVERY W EEK MY CHILD CAME HOME EXCITED AND FULL OF INFORMATION! (I even started using something they taught and it really helped me on a rainy night getting onto 85 in the construction- and they had just changed the lanes) We still have another driving day left- but so far I am very happy!

Negative experience: I would strongly recommend finding a different driving school. Their instructor either doesn't know the rules of the road or chooses not to observe them. The instructor drives dangerously and I consider him unfit to teach our children how to drive.

Fantastic experience: I had a great time at this driving school and made so many great friends. It gave me a great experience and taught me so much about safety behind the wheel and opened up a new understanding of driving.

Positive experience: Haha I love how people are complaining the Reed took them around town doing his errands... He is trying to help you to get the feel for when YOU yourself has to run errands. He may yell a lot, but I personally used to it XD my mom does the same thing... You cant take Reed too seriously or you will end up crying like the majority of my class mates did.. Negative experience: Old man who made me drive him around to do his errands and sit and wait for his breakfast for him while he read the newspaper. Yelled the entire time. Do not use

Negative experience: Angry, loud, and mean old man who does more harm than good in terms of teaching. I would strongly suggest finding a different teacher.
