I came from the UK having not driven in 9 years, and having learnt on the other side of the road. Miguel built up my confidence, his teaching style was excellent, and I passed my test first time!

From the very first lesson, she made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. Her patience, encouragement, and deep knowledge of road safety transformed what could have been a nerve-wracking experience into something enjoyable and empowering. Cinthia has an incredible way of explaining things clearly and calmly, ensuring that every lesson builds on the last. She not only helped me master the technical skills needed to drive safely but also instilled a sense of confidence that I never thought I’d have. Fantastic experience: My instructors were Miguel B & Luis and they were both fantastic. They focussed my lessons around the practical test and helped me consider which DMV I would do my practical driving exam and focussed me around the roads in that area, the freeways and suburban driving techniques including parking. Great guys and they got me from being a person that had never driven to confidently driving in a matter of weeks. I passed first time thanks to them!

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience with Abel. Derrik is a thorough and meticulous instructor and he will give you the tough love you need to become a careful and defensive driver. He will prepare you not just for the test (which I passed with only 3 points taken) but also for highway driving, following navigation instructions etc. I recommend their service with enthusiasm.

Fantastic experience: I can not recommend this school more highly! I have 2 teenage sons that hit driving age - the younger was maybe a little too eager to get his license, and the older one was anxious about it. Their online drivers ed program was strait forward and nicely set them up for their permits. They are also solid administratively, setting up appointments quickly and efficiently, as well as providing good reminders and being responsive when we had questions, or changes were needed. For behind the wheel training, we had Miguel teach both of them, and he was so patient and thoughtful and informative. He handled their different temperaments nicely, and after 5 excellent and encouraging lessons at the end of which he did a great run through of the possible drive test circumstances, my sons passed on their first tries. We all could not be happier with how everything went.

Fantastic experience: Amazing driving school! I took a 2 hour lesson two days prior to my driving test and passed that test after multiple test fails in the past. Shoutout to Miguel Bautista for helping me prepare and being an awesome instructor.

Fantastic experience: A great driving school! After I failed my first drive test I went there, practiced 3 times (6 hours in total) and managed to pass my second test with very few mistakes. I cannot thank my instructor Miguel enough for his patience, enthusiasm, and professional teaching skills to target every single problem efficiently. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: First off, Abel driving school is a very professional company! The instructors always arrived on time, were very polite and gave constructive feedback! My instructors were Cinthia and Luis, but I had more sessions with Instructor Luis and took my driver's test with him. Instructor Luis clearly loves his job and really cares for his students. He was very patient with me and made sure I understood every little detail I needed to pass my test, and I did!!!! I highly recommend Abel Driving School, and most importantly, instructor Luis!!!:)))

Fantastic experience: Abel's driving school was great, called them when I booked an appointment for my driving test, and they set up driving sessions with instructors accordingly. Had a total of 2 sessions, with Instructors Luis and Antero. Both sessions were great, and the instructors were friendly. Learnt a lot very quickly. I also requested a vehicle and instructor to drive me to the actual test. Luis accompanied me. First guiding me through the test routes, then waiting at the DMV while the test was completed. Passed the test on the first try! Overall a very good experience. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I've had the pleasure to have both instructors Cynthia and Antero. Both were excellent, personable, and professional. Cynthia helped me feel more at ease on the road, and Antero really aided in the know-how of what to watch out for on the road. They both provided useful techniques for me, and I'm happy to say that after the 3 lessons provided - and frequent practice in between - I am much more comfortable on the road. I recommend spacing out the lessons a bit to once a week and to practice each day in between to get the most out of your lessons. It was also pleasant and efficient to take to them on the phone and to schedule/reschedule any appointments. Solid experience overall.

Fantastic experience: I just passed my road test on the first try thanks to Derick at Abel's Driving School. Derick is by far the best driving instructor I've ever had. He's a superb teacher — happy to answer all my questions, calmly intervening whenever needed, and he really cares about his students doing well. Great conversation too, which made the hours fly by! I highly recommend this school. Ask for Derick if you can!

Fantastic experience: It was a great decision to choose Abel's Driving school for behind the wheel training! I didn't had enough experience to drive and i was so nauseous to drive. I booked four class before my driving test and the instructor was Luis who is super friendly and very professional. First time he identified my weakness and then he worked on that! magically my driving skill has been changed and i start driving like very safe and mature! My instructor was confidant on me that i will get my license and i got Today! I can't thank enough to Abel's Driving School and my instructor Luis! Solid in business. I am highly recommend Abel's for Driving Training.

Fantastic experience: Just got my license an hour ago. Derek is an amazing coach! I just did two hours lessons before the test and passed at the first time! Thank you so much! The only issue I think about...Sometimes the school pick up the phone very slowly (Or didn't pick up during the office hour lol) which is a bit annoying.

Fantastic experience: I booked Abel's Driving School for my son for a final tuning in his driving cause I am not an instructor. He took the 6 hour package (3 lessons), he completed the lessons within a week with 3 different drivers. All of them were great and had something new to teach him. He took his test by the end of the same week and passed easily. Thank you Abel's Driving School, I will use them for my daughter as well!

Fantastic experience: Love Abel’s school, had 4 hours driving so far and already feel much more confident on the roads starting from zero experience. Very patient and explaining everything great!

Negative experience: I am 28 years old and have had zero driving experience in my life. I recently moved to LA where I needed to get my driver’s license and went with Abel’s because it had the highest reviews. I had limited funds to put down and expressed all of this to Abel’s when I first started. They said 6 lessons should be enough. I foolishly booked them all with the same instructor and when I clearly wasn’t ready for the exam, booked another two. When I finally got a different instructor for the last two, I realized the first hadn’t taught me anything. On the day of my test, I got a new instructor who was appalled by the simple things I didn’t know and I predictably failed the test. I complained with Abel directly and asked for a free lesson as compensation. Abel himself came to give me the lesson and was also shocked that I wasn’t even holding the wheel properly. He did not agree to give me any more lessons unless I paid for them and made a big deal about taking me to the exam, even though we agreed already that it was part of the severance package. I failed the test a second time. On the way home, I left my passport in the car by accident. It was three weeks before I realized it was gone cause I rarely use it and I called everywhere I could think of that I might have left it at, including Abel’s and the guy at the office calmly told me it had been there the whole time. I am shocked they didn’t try to return such a valuable document to me. After this, I found another driving school (Royal’s driving school), had 3 lessons with them (that cost half of the price) and passed my test with flying colors. Abel’s was a huge waste of money that the quality of instructors is not consistent. I do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: This place is great, the office staff is really nice and very accommodating when trying to schedule lesson times. My instructor was really nice guy, he tries to teach not only how to drive but how to be safe and a defensive driver. I felt safe in the car with him, he gives constant instruction the whole time while driving. He is also patient and real, he will let you know if he thinks you are ready for the road test or not and what you need to work on. I took about 5 lessons with Ahmed and passed on my first try in December!!!!!! The other instructors I would see around also seem very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: I definitely recommend this school, the way they teach is amazing, compare to others who offer cheaper prices but their service is mediocre, after having a bad experience else where I got recommended by a friend of mine and I couldn't be more happier, in just 2 hours I was able to feel more confident behind the wheel, if you guys are the nervous type like me than this is the driving school for you, thank you so much Abel's for helping me get my license.
