Fantastic experience: Both my daughters completed their driving education through top driver in Carol Stream. Their teacher, Mr. Affleck, is awesome! He even turned an 8 AM daily summer class into something fun! But not only that, they both learned to be very good drivers throughout the whole process! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had a great time learning how to drive with my instructors. One of their names was Halina M. whenever i had a drive schedueled with her, i was looking forward to it because she made driving fun. She taught me a lot of stuff that cant be taught in a classroom. My other instructor, David S kept the drive alive and just didn’t make it boring. They both are amazing instructors and i loved driving with them

Fantastic experience: This school has got you covered. My daughter loved her instructor. Dan made it very comfortable and stress free not only for the student but also for me as the parent. She was able to schedule all her drives on her own. The best part is taking the final test at Top Driver instead of the DMV. Saves that hassle. Worth every penny!

Fantastic experience: My son had the best experience with his Top Driver instructor, Halina. She is so wonderful. Halina is extremely calm and can relate to the kids which makes them feel more at ease. She made my son feel super comfortable about driving and was so easy going. He was lucky enough to have her for all his driving lessons and honestly, I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to teach my son. I highly recommend Halina as a driving instructor!

Fantastic experience: It was an amazing experience at Top Driver and really taught me the rules of the road more properly and I got to meet such great new people especially my driving instructor Halina. She was the best instructor I could’ve ever been with and we always had funny conversations and she was the most patient person and teaches a lot of things about driving during our sessions too. Fantastic experience: We love the top driver school in Carol Stream. The class and the driving lessons really taught my son to drive better. Halina is a good behind the wheel instructor who is patient and teach new skill that my son need. The pickup and drop off at home location is an amazing tool for working parents. Negative experience: So today my son has appointment for behind wheel and they cancelled two hour before, but when you need to cancel your appointment they want 24 hours notice Last time we were late 15 min due bad weather they said that’s considered no call no show and I have to pay them $60 to schedule him for further classes. And I called twice and left messages no call back yet But the other day when I called and left message that we are going to be late at the location due weather they call me back right away with in five to ten minutes and said “oh that’s our policy 15 min late no call no show, when you need to cancel give 24 hours notice.”

We know this is frustrating and are sorry for any inconvenience it may have caused. Negative experience: Horrible, they have no availability for driving and observation sessions months out and are charging me an additional $150 dollars to extend. Their schedule availability is impossible if you have a child playing sports or any other activities.
We researched your son's account and read the Customer Service notes. They have been assisting you with extending your completion deadline and suggesting alternate locations for you to meet your son's needs yet you ended the call today by swearing at our hard working customer service agent. Negative experience: Not enough instructors and they take on too many students. Their system to schedule in car drives is setup to make you pay an extension fee because you won't be able to complete all the drives before the deadline.
We researched your teen's account and see that the first time anyone reached out to Customer Service regarding scheduling drives was after the IL Secretary of state 9 month deadline. Had you contacted us sooner we would have been happy to assist. Customer Service is working with you now to get the driving lessons scheduled. Thank you.
Negative experience: Some of the people are somewhat rude and if your late for a drive lesson they charge you a fee! I’m sorry but I’ve already paid when life happens and I’m 15 mins late instead of the 10 minute grace period You shouldn’t be charged!
Private driving schools such as Top Driver are governed by the Secretary of State who requires students to drive for no less than 50 minutes per lesson. When a student is more than 10 minutes late then that lesson must be cancelled and rescheduled since there typically is another student scheduled for a drive immediately after. We are sorry for any misunderstanding. Thank you.

An instructor who genuinely cares about her students and makes an effort to connect with them and inspire confidence. Positive experience: Mr. Saadiq- meh he's ok
Negative experience: Warren jones is the rudest teacher. Doesn’t teach good and is very rude to the kids. I suggest to go to a different top driver because warren jones is a rude person. Does not respect parents or kids and plays favorites in the class. He should not be a teacher here. He’s a complete jerk.
