Negative experience: My daughter lost her segment 2 certificate. I tried to have her get a copy from Mrs K to learn from it. She was given one day within a one hour timeframe from a location 30 minutes from her school while she was still at school/sports to pick it up and when she did not, the new pick up day was another 4 weeks out. After several messages between them, I intervened and spent 10 days texting Mrs K asking if I could get a virtual or mailed copy. I offered to pay her the $10 fee she requested plus postage etc. I was told that I needed several pieces of documentation to obtain it if my daughter wasn’t present, special permission from her and repeatedly reminded there was a $10 fee which my daughter agreed to. I assumed they were being charged from the state of MI to obtain a copy. After almost 6 weeks of attempting to get this certificate, I contacted the state of Michigan, explained what happened and they gave me a copy within an hour virtually and at no cost. They attempted to contact the company first to resolve it but they only had 6 business hours Monday-Fri and they were “closed for the week” on Wednesday. Mrs K lied to my daughter and myself about the process to obtain a copy per the state. I was encouraged to file a complaint. She was rude to my daughter and to me despite the fact we were both kind and professional. My daughter also had a very bad experience in class. At the end of the day when you pay a business there should be some level of service and cooperation. My daughter and I shouldn’t be bullied to get a copy of her certificate and kids shouldn’t be belittled in class.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience taking my road test with Premier. Dan was calm, kind, and helpful with my road test. He eased my nerves and gave me clear instructions when driving. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a road test!

Fantastic experience: Must come to him for your driving test. Mr. Dave was highly professional and took my driving test very seriously at the same time. He kept his patience. (Not like other school instructors, they sout & clear intension is to make money from you that's it.) But here, the instructor is not like them. He was very understanding. If you know rules, proper driving, know what to do & don't, everything. Then, he will make you pass for the license. Also, if you have any mistakes, he will tell what & how to improve. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Dont go here. Scams people gave the driver instructor $70 and was supposed to get $10 back and he never gave it back and kept it. Makes you feel rushed the whole test and doesnt explain anything. Save ur money and DONT go here. They only want to fail people.

Fantastic experience: Today I had a road test and my instructor was Dave. He is very professional and calm. If you make any mistake he won’t shout or won’t make you uncomfortable. He tells you very calmly and politely. Overall my experience was 100/100. Thank you Dave. I 100% recommend this institute. (And I passed my test)

Negative experience: I emailed back and forth with Premier Driving Academy for a couple days. They never mentioned that they are still following Covid protocols from 3 years ago-mandatory use of masks. If they feel so strongly about these protocols they should be comfortable posting on their website. It was a complete waste of my time driving to the ice arena to register my child. My family isn't wearing masks. I don't personally know of anyone who does, including local hospital staff.

Fantastic experience: Mr and Mrs K are Great Driving instructors. They brought out some skills, that I didn't even know my Daughter had, lol. They were Very professional, Respectful, have flexible schedules, Patient and kind, just all around Great people, I have zero complaints. I highly recommend. 10/10

Fantastic experience: My examiner was named Dave he was very direct and helpful during the entire test. He didn’t stress me out at all and even when I made mistakes at the end of the test he told me exactly why I made those mistakes and how to prevent them from happening again. I passed my test and came out of it with even more road knowledge thanks to the examiner.

Negative experience: My son had his road test with Dave, he is extremely unprofessional. Was having a private conversation and we had to wait for him to finish up first. Then he continued to scream at my 16 year old son. He did not give clear concise direction at all. Wouldn’t not recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: My daughter just completed Segment 1 with Mr. and Mrs. K. Great experience all around. Mr. K was very good with helping her get comfortable behind the wheel. The rules can seem a little overwhelming at first, but it's a really well run program and I can tell my daughter has learned a lot. We will be back for Segment 2!

Negative experience: Never going back to this place. Mr. K and Mrs. K will make sure to scare you every drive. Im glad i switched half way through. Also they have favorites so if your a guy trust me Mr k is not gonna like you.

Fantastic experience: Mr. K and Mrs. K did an excellent job preparing our son to drive. They were the perfect combination of tough and serious when needing to be (driving isn’t a joke) and fun and down to earth. I feel our son is well prepared and he enjoyed his time in class and behind the wheel. I highly recommend Premier to anyone who wants to make sure their child is well prepared to drive. There are expectations for the class but as long as you put in the work you’ll have no problems. Thanks for the great driving instruction!

Fantastic experience: I love this driving school. It’s a very nice and well put together place. The teachers genuinely care for the safety of their students and try to make them learn for the right reasons. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My son just took his road test with Pete tonight. I would give Pete 10 stars if I could. He was kind and informative to myself and my son. He spoke to us as though he truly cared for the wellbeing of my son and his nerves with taking a driving test. All of his directions were completely clear and given with plenty of time to make adjustments. He was fair with his assessment and gave my son very good feedback and sound advice on what he could do better, as well as complimenting him on what he did well. This was not my first experience with a road test, however, it was by far the best! It was night and day to my previous experience. Directions on where to be and what to bring were extremely clear, and the price was lower than what I expected. I am very grateful for Pete and the environment he provided while my son took his road test. He also was able to schedule me fairly quickly. I would highly recommend Pete and Premiere Driving Academy for your road test needs!

Fantastic experience: My aunt and I came here for our road tests, our instructor was a great dude, very professional and friendly. He passed us and gave us some great tips to take with us on the road!

Negative experience: Very rude to me was going to take my test there I had an emergency and couldn’t show up tried to reschedule and he was really rude and tried charging me $30 for wasting his time

Fantastic experience: We had a kiddo come live with us that took segment one back in October two hours away from where we live. Unfortunately, he didn’t have any of the paperwork when he arrived. I contacted the company, and although Dan Wagberg was literally sitting on a beach in Florida on spring break, he took the time to look up the certificate and email it to us so we could get the kiddo’s driver’s permit. Thank you, Dan!

Positive experience: My son completed both segments here successfully. The staff was helpful and gracious when we couldn’t find our segment two certificate and sent along a new copy. Easy to get scheduled even in the midst of Covid.

Negative experience: I took segment 2 here. Absolute circus act. Totally unprofessional and incredibly rude to students. I would not recommend this class for anyone, ever, neither would anyone else I talked to. No knowledge gained from this experience. 3/4 of my class did not even take the final test. Yet we all passed. Stressful experience all to not even take a test. Attached is a photo of my instructor, Mr. k, sleeping during my zoom class. That is all.

Negative experience: My daughter scheduled an appointment with this company. A last minute change came about and she needed to cancel the appointment. The appointment was canceled 5 minutes before she had to show. Totally not this companies fault and I too would have been upset if I were them! A text was sent to me with the cancellation fee of $30--which I found acceptable. I went out on the website to see if I could find their cancelation policy posted as I was told (after I had asked) that it was 24 hours notice. It was not there. I called the owner to see if I may have been overlooking it. Nope...it is not posted. The owner told me that the cancellation policy is posted in the contract that you sign AFTER you show up for the appointment. Hummm...what am I missing here? That makes no sense at all. You have already shown up so why would you care about the cancellation policy at that time? My rating is low simply because the company failed to communicate a cancelation fee verbally or in writing. Although, canceling 5 minutes beforehand is totally not acceptable, there should still be something in writing somewhere. I would have been glad to pay the fee and still have my daughter take the test here because I understood that they were upset. However, it is just good business to have your fees in writing and not get smart with the customer when they are trying to suggest this to you.

Fantastic experience: Had the best experience with taking my Road Test with Pete, he was super professional and made taking the road test super easy. It honestly barely felt like he was in the car besides when he asked me the questions he needed to. I was totally nervous about it all and he made it feel like it was absolutely nothing to be worried about. Thank You for the amazing experience and I definitely will be recommending you to everyone I know that is trying to get their license.

Positive experience: Pete was amazing! I had him for private driving lessons and he gave me plenty of tips on how to pass the road test. I am taking a point off though because Dan, the person I took the road test with, was not very professional at all.

Fantastic experience: Pete is amazing! Open, honest, and gives you tips on how to pass the test. He does a great job of making you feel comfortable and keeps the pressure low. Just passed today thanks to him!

Fantastic experience: My daughter started segment 1 here and passed, she also completed segment 2 here and passed. Currently, we are looking to do her driving test here as well. Obviously, I was not in the class, but my child told me that they were pretty upfront about what was expected of them all. Areas that my child needed to improve were told to me face to face and I made sure to work on those areas with my child at home. Overall, a good experience.

Fantastic experience: The best driving school. Premier provides refunds for students if they start the class but aren’t ready and find that out during your first week. Further you don’t pay a thing until the first day of class. Which really gives you options.

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter for her road test Thursday. We had Pete as our instructor. This Man was awesome. He Made my daughter feel so relaxed. And was very professional !! And just a very nice Man. Thank you Pete and premier for and awsome experience !!! Oh ya my daughter passed !! We would highly recommend Pete and premier to everyone !!

Negative experience: I was cheated out of $300 dollars by this company. My son attended segment 1 at his school, and did not get a permit or take the written test. They take advantage of hard working parents and have no consideration for the students. They want you to keep paying them for the same services and that is wrong.

Negative experience: Pete tested my son, very unfairly today. My son passed the parking test, then we went on the road test. When we got back Pete told my son he did not look both ways at every intersection and that he should always stop at the white lane, before proceeding. He told him he drove beautifully, but he failed him because of those latter items. I was in the car. I saw my son turn and look at the intersections. At a max, he should have given him a warning, instead of repeatedely marking him down, even though PEte said my son was driving safely. He marked his road test as pass, on the sheet. But told him he failed the test. He also deliberately lured us, when i contacted him. Without me asking, he said that he and the other tester are liberal. That they don't follow everything. Wow, that seems to be a big lie, at least on his end. He said he is not a money grabber. I think he is either one, or he is very unfair, or too strict. I don't recommend Pete. I didn't even feel totally safe at the St Louis parking lot. A stranger just came, and was talking to him for about 5 mins, while we were waiting.

Fantastic experience: I took my road test with Keith and he was really funny yet professional. he made me feel comfortable driving because I was so nervous. I spoke with Dan and Larry over the phone to schedule a road test and both guys were really nice over the phone. (went with Keith because his schedule worked better with mine) I heard horror stories about how mean some instructors are but these guys seem very nice and professional. I highly recommend this place!! :-)

Fantastic experience: I took my road driving test last week with them, and it was great! I chose St. Louis Church location (it was the closest to my house), and I also used their vehicle for the test - it was a huge black new Chevy truck (with rear camera :-)). The instructor's name was Larry, a very nice person, made me feel less anxious and more relaxed. He was on time (actually early). As I am foreigner, I was looking for an American driving school, so I won't have additional stress because I can't understand what is asked of me due to accents or bad English. The test was very thoroughly, took almost an hour, and it went very smooth. All in all, a very good experience.
