Fantastic experience: I recently took this course with instructors Chris, Louis, Taylor, and Ryan—and they were all fantastic. As someone who had never ridden before, I was nervous going in, but they made the experience comfortable, safe, and educational. Each instructor was professional, clear in their explanations, and patient throughout the entire course. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Was nervous after not being on two wheels for 25 years. Great instruction from the instructors who made us feel comfortable with a simple building block system from mounting the bike, operating the brakes and clutch, shifting, andfinishing off with 25 mile an hour turns and menuvers. Highly recommend if you can ride a bicycle.

Fantastic experience: Special thanks for Chris Valencia for his patient and support during class on 3/23/25 very professional, good attitude, I always remember his excellent advice on how to prevent any accident when driving my motorcycle.

Fantastic experience: Chris, Marcus, and I believe Thomas made the experience so much more comfortable with Chris telling his jokes and all them telling us stories of their lives. They were all so patient with us, especially when we'd stall or not understand the instructions. Would definitely recommend. Also I passed the class so yay!

Fantastic experience: Hi everyone. I’d like to share my experience with you. I’ve never riding motorcycle before and Thomas, Richard and Marcus taught me how to manage it. They were really interested to taught me how to ride a motorcycles with best explanations of everything. From start your bike to lean it into the turns and quickly stop in the emergency situations. I felt like they really wanted to give me their experience and teach me how to avoid any mistakes included their own that they got in their experience. Richard had been in CHP for a while and will let you know how to ride carefully, safely and be prepared to any situations on the road. I’m so much appreciated to this crew and was so happy to learn about motorcycles with them.

Fantastic experience: Chris and Carl were awesome! I appreciated how patient and positive they were throughout the experience. Carl was great both on the course and in the classroom and I could tell he was invested in my success. Chris brought positivity, humor and knowledge on the second day. If you are debating taking this course- don’t! I feel much more confident and learned a lot while also having fun thanks to Chris and Carl. 10/10 would highly recommend!!!!

Fantastic experience: Chris and Taylor were awesome instructors! I learned so much and gained so much confidence in this class. Both had different teaching styles but they complimented eachother very well. Both took extra time to discuss techniques that would be realistic to the bike I own. Can't say enough. Both were patient. For the people who gave negative reviews. This is a safety course. Not a learn how to use a manual transmission. If you can't even ride a bike you have no buisness here. I haven't rode a dirt bike in 20 years. Bought a Harley. Rode it once and this class dialed me in perfect. Fantastic instructors.

Fantastic experience: From the initial zoom class, until the final riding eval, the instructors Dave (zoom class), Taylor, Bob, and Chris were all extremely knowledgeable, professional, and patient. The entire course is laid out well and really helps get you ready for the DMV test, and for the road. I suggest reading the 90 something page handbook and taking notes on it before the first zoom class. It will really help. I know, 90 pages sounds like a lot, but there are lots of pictures and unused space on those pages, so don't be intimidated. Go in relaxed with an open mind and benefit from the experience and knowledge these riders have, and are trying to share with you.

Negative experience: Bobby was a horrible instructor. Please avoid him, not at all like a teacher or instructor— made the experience unbearable. Others were kind and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Chris Valencia was an amazing instructor and extremely professional. Very kind and helpful as well! I recommend this course. Taylor is also a great instructor and very informative!

Fantastic experience: Just completed the beginner course and was truly impressed. From the 1st zoom class to the final test, the staff was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and encouraging. Chris and Bob were amazing on the range. They continued to challenge the riders and gave thoughtful advice and positive reinforcements along the way. This course relit the spark for riding in me after 20 years. I will definitely be taking the next level training with OCMT!!

Fantastic experience: Man, I love that writing in school, Chris did a Hella good job along with the rest of the staff teaching you and then making sure that you understood everything that was going on with the motorcycle. Just a perfect class.

Positive experience: I attended the beginner's course. The Course is well structured and straightforward. Instructors are professional. Price is reasonable. I am not giving 5 stars only for one simple reason: the driving range and the final class/test are not in the same location so you must drive in between them given a 30/45 minutes slot. Locations are not very far from each other but you should consider that before enrolling if you do not have your own vehicle to get to classes.

Positive experience: Okay so I understand not everyones experience is the same . I wish I could give it 4-5 stars however this was a bumpy road . Lol anyways. I met excited and motivated individuals which ended up going home due to the teaching style of Taylor ( they told me so , so its confirmed not a theory) i agree that the way he teaches is a little aggressive in fact when i asked him for feedback he said “ well your not doing the bare minimum how can i give you feedback” i asked him to please tell me what im doing wrong and not to just stare and stay quiet. I also stalled my bike and went into what he later confirmed was a false neutral. In the moment this happened i freaked ( im a new rider this was my first time ) and he got mad at me said move get outta the way and i asked him to please approach me so we could handle the situation ( i didnt know what the little line on my dash meant so therefore didnt know if there was a special way to get outta it ) he got upset told me to not ask questions til i was outta the way. I mentioned I had to ask in order to get out of the way. He told me i lacked confidence, i let him know his aggressive teaching style discouraged me and if he could help me build the confidence by actually giving me feedback . Besides going through the powerpoint at the end of day 1, im sorry to say i feel Taylor failed me as an instructor. ANYWAYS Point. Is attitude from Taylor was poor that day. Not sure if it was the heat the time being there since the morning or stress he had going on. If so, I hope you get him on a good day. Luckily , Day 2 we had a swap of instructors and oh man what a different attitude this individual had ! My respect and appreciation to Chris !! Thank you thank you thank you , you helped boost my confidence and really put things in perspective . Chris and Bobby are the reasons i didnt give it 1 -2 star :) Bobby & Chris are both very stern and direct and super honest , you can tell they are coming from a good and helpful place ! Helps they both joke too , lightens the tense environment. Bobby really helped me by letting me know when I was doing something good and to keep at it and when i was not. I was super duper oober nervous ( as i said was my first time riding) and although the nerves didn’t completely go away hahaha bobby and chris really made it an enjoyable , funny, and informative class. Im so happy i passed and that i will start my riding journey!!

Fantastic experience: Just finished this course today. Super fun class. As long as you pay attention, ask questions, and truly build on the skills they teach you ... your on the right path to pass. I passed but even if I hadn’t I thought it was run very very great by the two instructors Chris and Bob. But most importantly ... I had a lot of fun and learned a lot of valuable & life saving skills. Thank you!!!

Fantastic experience: I highly appreciate the extensive knowledge, experience, extraordinary efforts (and patience :) invested by OC Motorcycle Training staff to get me trained and be safe while riding a motorcycle. They are experience, dedicated, hard workers and friendly (but strict!) in their approach. The training program is comprehensive and thorough in order to give you the tools needed for a better and safer rider. Special thanks to the dedicated instructors Chris and Ryan, along with Bobby, who is my Rockstar! Based on my experience, I highly recommend this motorcycle training with the Orange County Motorcycle Training firm in Fullerton!

Fantastic experience: I recently got into riding again after a long time, so I decided to take the intermediate one-day training as I felt a little rusty and thought it would be a good idea to seek professional training. They allowed me to do the whole training on my own bike, but also offered nice 300cc BMWs that looked brand new. The course is well planned, and many important topics are covered, like throttle control, emergency braking, slow and high-speed maneuver, swerving, etc. The class structure is also great as we kept alternating between sitting class and riding. My instructor, Taylor, was very skilled and shared excellent knowledge. He would first demonstrate the exercises on his bike and provide detailed instructions. When it was our time to ride, he would keep advising me on how I could improve or do better. After a few runs, we would then be skill tested and move on to the next subject. At the very end, we took a multiple-choice test of 25 questions, which was relatively easy as we had just covered all topics during the day. After the course, I feel way more confident about riding, and I learned many skills that every rider should know. It's also important to note that although we learn valuable skills and improve our riding during the class, we still need to keep training to take them to the next level. Overall, I think the course is worth it and would recommend it to a friend; I also got my endorsement which is a plus on top of all the learning. For people with no riding experience tho, I would recommend the beginner course instead. I spoke briefly with their instructor, and he seemed like a very nice guy.

Fantastic experience: Had a blast at this course. They have really nice bikes, you can choose from g310rs and rebel 300s. The helmets they let you borrow was top notch. Ive never even sat on a bike prior to this course and was able to learn all the basics. A friendly tip, make sure you study the handbook they email you and watch a couple videos on youtube on shifting, cornering, leaning, etc. With all that you would have no problem passing.

Fantastic experience: First I would like to give a huge shout out to my instructors BOB & CHRISTINE. They are awesome at first I was hesitant to enroll since I read some of the reviews on here . I’ve never rode a motorcycle before coming here but let me tell you this school/course is amazing. Bob & Christine are very knowledgeable and patient with you . They explain everything and walk you through every step of the way so that not only are you safe but understand everything by the time you leave. I passed and now shopping around for my first bike . I highly recommend this for anyone looking to get their M1 endorsement Thanks Christine & Bob !

Fantastic experience: Amazing school! I’ve just completed my beginner rider course and it was a blast! The bikes that were used were surprisingly super nice considering this is a beginners course. So going into it I expected some banged up smaller cc bike. But I couldn’t be more wrong. They had a mix of modern sport touring type bikes and some cruisers ( which we could choose from ). The teachers themselves were amazing. Shoutout to Bobby for being a outstanding guy too! (On the off chance he reads this just know I was the one that checked out that supermoto after class) Overall the teachers were patient, friendly, very informative and direct with myself and others. Couldn’t be happier. I hope to return one day for the intermediate course. I highly recommend this course to anyone else looking to be trained. Whether you’re new to riding, underage and in need of a MSF course, or just looking for a fun activity

Negative experience: My story is a little different than others, the reason I join this school’s intermediate one day training program, is to waive my DMV Driving test, honestly i failed one time, because my motorcycle is an 800 cc street bike, with big turn ratio, i just couldn’t make it. Before i signed up, the lady answered the call said as long as you stay focus in the class, do as the coach said, you should be able to pass, thats what i did. When I came to the class this morning, the coach required me to take a entry test, which is exactly like DMV test, with the motorcycle they provided, BMW G310, much easier to maneuver, i finished it with ease. Then i finished the whole day training program, i took note, paid attention, did what the coach said, they do have skillset test every time a training session finished, I am not good or perfect, i did make my share of mistakes, but i am very confident i can pass the DMV Test with the right bike, i can ride on the road, freeway or in the dark, not a problem. But the coach failed me and did not provide me a certificate, which is the main purpose of my participation. Remember this is an intermediate level training, people who takes the beginner training could also get the dmv test waived, so yes, i am stuck now. Btw, they will also do a written test, even i have done it in DMV, got my permit. I did it again, only made one wrong answer out of 25 questions. For the training, I got introduced to some new techniques and learn some useful tips and all those, which still requires a lot more practice later on, but for the price of 279$, i don’t think it’s worth it, merely for educational purpose, anyway everybody has their own opinion, some people might find the course is well worth the money. I just wanna share my own experience with everyone who see this.

Fantastic experience: I'm over sixty years of age and hold several college degrees and have been through many courses in my life, this is one learning experience that stands out from the rest and will stick with me forever. The incredible amount of knowledge and information I got in this impossible short amount of time is absolutely stunning. This team of instructors, Ryan, Bobby and Taylor are top notch to say the least. Their diligence, dedication and persistence for teaching us the A to Z of SAFE biking in such an impossibly short time is worthy of a standing ovation. In my humble opinion they make a great team working together with Ryan and his vast theoretical knowledge, Bobby with his excellent practical knowledge and Taylor the brain behind the entire process, they make a complete and indivisible team that is an asset to any establishment. To those complaining that it's not for first time learners, you're probably right since Motorcycling is such a vast experience requiring a wide range of techniques and skills that are impossible to acquire in such a short period of time, that's why they give you several chances to repeat the course until you reach the acceptable skill level to earn you a passing grade, I personally, being with minimal riding experience, did not make it the first time around and I took Taylor's advice of repeating the course to improve my practical and theoretical knowledge which I took to heart and it worked as I passed the second time around. One word of advice, do not take the terms "Pass" and "Fail" to heart. They're simply referring to your level of competence and riding skills. read the material, listen to the instructions and follow them to the best of your ability and keep repeating the two day riding course until you reach the acceptable SAFE riding skill level and never forget it's for your own good. Motorcycles are a lot of fun but they're also very dangerous if not handled with care and experience. The last thing these guys want to see is one of their students on a stretcher. Last but not least, Thank you Ryan for your heartfelt persistence and dedication. Thank you Bobby for some top notch field instructions and for helping me on my feet after dropping my bike (twice) and Taylor for your great advice on repeating the course. As for the admin, thank you Christie for helping me get the right course and for helping me get the right time to fit my schedule and for helping with getting my standby for the second time repeat. Best money I ever spent.

Fantastic experience: Even though I am new to motorcycles and had no prior experience this class is a must take. The instructors Bob and Ryan are really passionate teachers. I told them this is my very first time ever riding motorcycles. They were very reasonable and understanding. Unfortunately I struggled at bit with shifting gears during the last portion of day. Before heading over to the class room I approached Ryan for my evaluation and told him honestly that I knew that I struggled with gear shifting, prematurely letting go of the clutch, and not properly using the throttle. He definitely said the exact same, he recommended reading that I read the handbook over, and call the office on Monday to get on standby to retake the class again. He really cares about helping his students and wants them to do good. Despite failing the safety class, I learned a lot from this great experience.

Fantastic experience: Great school, learned a lot. The instructors really care to make sure you're ready to ride and have all the fundamentals down. If this is the 1st time you're riding a motorcycle ever, its a very good intro course. But keep in mind that this class moves fast since they need to teach a lot of material....if your main goal is to pass the course at the end so you can skip the DMV test, you might want to consider learning to ride a bit before doing this course. Overall, highly recommend this course. The guys know what they're doing.

Andrew ayala 6 years ago

Fantastic experience: I dont care what anyone else says. I came in having NO motorycle experience and passed the class no problem. Was I a professional at by the end of it? No I had four points on the final riding test (you're allowed 10 points, anything more and you fail) and my instructor did a great job of making sure I got all the fundamentals down. Dont remember his name but he was a taller white guy. Great course and would recommend to others.

dsk dsk 6 years ago

Negative experience: The class and facility is fine, except this one instructor who is thin and about six feet tall. He really does not want to be there and his attitude is Zero out of 10. Its is not just me, the whole group were disappointed with his attitude. If I had known about this guy, I would not have spent $1 for the program. The reason why we don't know his name after spending so much time with him is pretty obvious. The bike can be dangerous; but he doesn't help you with your confidence and learn to enjoy the bike - but rather ruin it. Check somewhere else. The positive posting here is probably from people they know not students.

Borina Jm 6 years ago

Negative experience: Miserable experience. I am a new rider. They expected me to know how to do things with muscle memory that I would not know faster than a newbie should. They gave unclear directions on the course. And then as they were rushing me, kicked me out because I kept stalling the motorcycle as I tried to start again. So we wasted all the class room time on what to wear, barely 20 minutes on how the motorcycle works and then magically in 90 minutes of motorcycle time you should feel comfortable riding a bike. They are like the worst possible bf imaginable teaching you how to drive a standard transmission. I am insanely worried about my safety and the class went unsafely fast over important items and spent way too much time on the obvious. Also most of the people in the course had ridden before. Worse after kicking me out I was told I needed to stay until they were done to fill out paperwork. Thanks, so you just destroyed my self esteem in front of people and now let's embarrass you some more by making you stay. Instructors are meant to teach, there was no actual teaching.

Fantastic experience: I am sorry to say this is not for beginners course with novice riding experience, which should have been mentioned in the fine print. Most of the people that came here had some sort of riding experience, and some even have their own motorcycle they are riding for years. So don't jump in and think you will learn it in 2 days, unless you had some prior recent experience in riding in some form of motorized cycle. Otherwise there is a fair chance you will be bummed out, especially if you are not a super quick learner. Cause they pick up pace pretty fast. Practice makes perfect. And long term. Thats my honest opinion. But great way to learn and improve under pressure. So good luck. :)
