Fantastic experience: Royal Enfield INT owner (nice, reasonable, and heavy). I was thinking about moving up to a sport bike. I just didn't know how I would like it after just one test ride. Came across Nola Riding Academy and their sponsored Track Days. Rent and ride a 300-400 cc bike around the track bike! Totally worth it! I now have a new hoppy! Everyone was super friendly and I picked up great information about bikes and what to look for. The instructors kept everyone safe, and happy and made me a better rider on the track and on the streets.
Negative experience: Don't waste your time. Was looking forward to this experience but was greatly disappointed in their professionalism. Your fee is supposed to include an course to accompany the riding portion. I followed the instructions on the academy website and wasn't receiving the email with link that was needed. Life happens,I get it. But the problem is I reached out through multiple emails and numerous attempts to call with absolutely no answer over the course of week. When I was finally able to get a text from someone, I was meet with smart and sarcastic comments. I'm just glad I figured these people out before I got to the class. Now I get to give my money to someone who will actually care about their students. 3 months to reply doesn't leave a very good recollection to the experience. Also his many assumptions about me of course slighted in his favor. I was fully versed on all requirements accordingly to the site. My frustration is rooted in his complete lack of communication. I received the simple link but it was no loading. Yes, tried multiple times from multiple devices weeks before the course. This online course is required to be completed before in person class. As my appointment was coming close, I simply tried to reach out for assistance with what I thought was a simple problem. Over the next two week, I tried to email him. Waited a few days, still nothing. Tried calling, nothing. When I finally got a respond, I was meet with the high and mighty attitude you see in his response. I was the one that asked for a refund. But those kinda mistakes in his story are bound to happen when you give the story 3 months to evolve in your head. I'm sure he's knowledgeable and runs a good course but if you need help outside the classroom, don't expect much unless you like being ignored and attitude.
Well this was not a very nice review, and although I wanted to ignore it, it just keeps popping up.. I will say that after I spoke to this individual I did not want him to attend my school and quickly offered him a refund. Motorcycling is a fun but serious endeavor it's not meant for everyone and there is no guarantee of passing the class or being safe while riding after graduation. Your fee guarantees you a spot at class that is all. IF you get to class without gear, or do something the instructor deems unsafe it's goodbye. There are no entitlements here, if you pass my school you have met the standards and we will offer further opportunities to you so you can become an expert rider. IF Shea had read the online portion before signing up he would have seen that there is a link to a free riding course. I do not provide a free course just a link, and it's the first step I have installed to see if the rider is going to follow rules and use good judgement (read and follow instructions). If Shea had read the website entirely and read my reply to his one email he would have seen that I said we would discuss this on the first day of class. However in his mind I owed him more than this which began with a barrage of phone calls on a Saturday morning while I was on vacation. I auto text replied I was unavailable which was met with an angry entitled reply. At this point I no longer wanted him at my riding school because to me he was going to be a liability. Case was closed in my mind, however not in his. which is why I get a review like this.... Unwarranted as well as factually untrue. It is obvious to see this is an individual that felt slighted, and although I'm sorry for his feeling being damaged, (not my replies to him) that you will also see all of my other reviews are positive. Please take this into account, when reading this review.

Fantastic experience: took the gulf port class and Matt was an amazing instructor couldn't have asked for better!! the water was turned off at the location though so no bathroom :/
Fantastic experience: Super fun go kart track! Came here for my bachelor trip and it was a great time. It is a bit of a drive from downtown, but well worth it.
