Fantastic experience: I recently took the beginner riding class in the Livermore Ca location. The instructors were very knowledgeable and very professional. The skills learned in the class reinforced the importance of safety and smooth and proper handling of the bike. I would recommend this class to anyone interested in learning how to ride. Special thanks to Dillon and the other instructors who made the weekend educational and fun at the same time! We had such a great a great experience that a group of us signed up for the intermediate riding class. Thank you PMT!

Fantastic experience: The basic course was a rewarding and positive learning experience with a strong emphasis on skills building and reinforcement with real world application. It is imperative that all new motorcyclists complete this training. As a returning motorcyclist I found it to be a great review that helped me to unlearn bad habits, especially in emergency braking. The instructors are exemplary. I will take the intermediate and advanced courses as soon as I can. Overall a strong recommendation

Fantastic experience: I had ridden motorcycle back in India and was getting back into it again here in the US. The training was very educating and the staff was super friendly. They had helmets and even gloves so that helped too. The bikes were very good and didn't pose any issues. The instructors, Anthony, Erin, and Tony were very nice and helped us immensely during the two day program. I loved the experience and would love to take intermediate lessons some time in future.

Fantastic experience: I was nervous before class. But the instructors were very nice and very encouraging. They had an extreme eye for detail and took the time to listen to anybody that had questions. They very very safe and I'll feel like I left there ready to become a safe rider.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience. Joey, Erin, and Anthony were great instructors! I had taken this same course at a Harley dealer, but the range guy there was a bit of a jerk... I mean I get it, with safety and all... And a lot of people don't pay attention to simple instructions... But c'mon, it's just a beginner class ‍♂️. At Pacific, it was A GREAT learning environment. And I loved the extra exercise at the end with them having us pretend that we were in traffic! I'm glad I signed up and will get some miles under my belt before I try the IRC! UPDATE: Just took the IRC and it's basically an advanced beginner course! Much less intimidating than what I thought it would be originally. It was a blast (even in the pouring rain). The instructors (Evie and Dave "Sully") were very friendly and patient, and provided great feedback. Sully was actually very modest and did NOT mention that HIS voice is the narrator voice in the Total Control videos hahaha.

Fantastic experience: The training was very useful, efficient and fun. I took the class in Livermore and the facilities are great and I didn’t feel rushed. A call out to our wonderful instructors - Dave, Erin and Anthony. It was nearly a 100F both days and they did a great job despite the heat. I would highly recommend this class.

Fantastic experience: It was an wonderful experience to learn motorcycle riding with the instructors at Pacific Motorcycle Training. The instructors were patient, accommodating with every student and taking the appropriate time to teach us how to ride a motorcycle and how to be a good rider.

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for an amazing experience to start your riding career, this is the place. The instructors are patient, friendly, knowledgeable and know how to relay that knowledge. Evi was a fantastic instructor in particular. Once the class was done they offer an intermediate class at a discount (it never expires) which I didn’t hesitate to sign up for.

Fantastic experience: I had an absolute blast over the weekend! Great team of instructors each day that were informative and patient with all of us. Highly recommend. It was a trip watching people go from never being on one before to riding pretty darn good a few hours later. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or a seasoned rider TAKE THE CLASSES I promise you, you’ll learn something new.

Fantastic experience: The online theory training prepares you for the two day riding practical. Each instructor had our best interests in mind and were very skilled, understanding and professional. The class gave me a great foundation to build upon. Also kudos to them for teaching in the 110 afternoon heat!

Fantastic experience: Took this training course and never been on a motorcycle. I took the classroom portion on eRider prior to practice riding range. This made it easy as it was going at my own pace. Really get to focus on what was being taught. The first day of riding portion, they’ll teach you where the controls are on the bike and a lot of slow maneuvering and Taking corners. Thomas and Mark was very patient. I was tentative but they kept reminding me to trust the process. Second day I was exited to get back on the bike to learn more things at the same time scared of failing on test day. I’ve gained some confidence at this point. This day we had Evie and Erin. They were awesome. Went over stuff that was going to be on the test and would explain to you what you need to do better. They just didn’t tell us. They ask you to pull off from training course and EXPLAIN. That was a relief. I believe all but one past the test. I bought my first motorcycle and confident enough to ride around town. If you’re thinking of getting your license or even need the course to get an insurance discount or just need to be a better rider this course is a must.

Fantastic experience: Took the training course with my 20 year old Stepson. He wanted to get his M1 license so we did it as his BDay present. It was a great experience and I highly recommend PMT. We had different instructors on Saturday and Sunday which initially was concerning but it all worked out great. All of the instructors were so engaged, patient and supportive. We BOTH Passed Thanks PMT..!!!

Fantastic experience: MUST ATTEND this training! Evie and her team are phenomenal and will teach you the basics of being a safe and effective rider. They made everyone feel comfortable even if you’ve never touched a motorcycle before. No new rider should just go and get a license without attending a CMSP class. Highly Recommended!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic program, facility, bikes and instructors. My 18 year old and I both took the 2 day beginner program; she's never riden a motorcycle but I have. The instructors were knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. Everyone in the group was supportive and just great people all around. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The instructors were friendly and very knowledgeable. They were patient and gave me a lot of helpful tips when I was having trouble with the controls and following some of their instructions. Evie ran to help me when I fell over (thank God I wasn't going fast). I would have liked to spend more time getting used to the bike before starting maneuvers. It was my first time on a motorcycle and I never learned how to drive a car with a manual transmission so it took me a while to learn how to coordinate the clutch/switching gears with the acceleration. But I know they had a lot to cover in a short period of time, which is why I'm not lowering my rating. Plus, they had to help others in the class while keeping up the momentum of the course. Overall, I thought it was a great course and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Negative experience: The day was spent alternating between classroom lecturing and riding in the Las Positas College parking Lot B. The facilities were great, but there was too much classroom time. I wasn’t expecting this as nothing was mentioned on the website. As an Intermediate Clinic, I assumed we would be riding all day. Two other classmates felt the same way. The instructors were excellent; knowledgeable, supportive and constructive in their comments, and overall positive and pleasant. I felt the course level was too basic, and perhaps the content was shifted or combined for the day as we had a number of riders in the group that were getting their initial M1 certification. As such, we covered much of the same information from the Basic Intro course I took two years ago. Also, the entire class had to be tested at the end of each set of drills including emergency stops, slow cornering, evasive swerving and high speed cornering. We all were required to take a written test in the classroom as well. Much of this was redundant and unnecessary as I already have my motorcycle license. My suggestion, buy and study the Total Control book, and then get some cones and set up your own drills based on the numerous and excellent YT videos available, such as MotoJitsu. I will not be returning for the Advanced Clinic.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time on a motorcycle and I had a blast! Evie, Erin & Dylan are awesome; they are positive, patient & incredibly knowledgeable. Listen to them. Relax, remember your steps & trust the process. It’s something else to learn how to ride with rolling green hills in the background, sun shining and yes even a bit of rain and hail. UPDATE: I took the IRC after riding for a few months. Evie and Craig instructed us. You can ride your own motorcycle which I recommend. The exercises are completely doable, have the basics down from the initial MSF course and you’ll be golden. They also deflate your tires a bit which improves traction = better control. Theory is good, be open minded, you’ll learn A LOT. Evie and Craig have great attention to detail and will help you improve your skills. They’re also awesome at encouraging you on the right path without pushing you too much.

Fantastic experience: I just took the CMSP Motorcycle Training Course (MTC) eRider option. It was a great course. Online portion was well organized, instructions were clear, information was relevant, technology was interactive and current. The weekend on-bike training was even better. Lead-up communications were clear and complete - I was prepared. The course started and finished right on time both days. Instructors were organized, informative, approachable, and professional. The large majority of the time was spent on the bike, riding, and developing skills. This is a very well run course. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I had basically no experience on a motorcycle. The instructors were patient, extremely helpful, and had a good progression though the class for beginners. By the end of the riding portion I had a basic grasp of how to ride. I am by no means ready to hit the highway, but I am more than comfortable enough to ride and practice on my own on slow streets and get better on my own now that I know the fundamentals.

Fantastic experience: Had the best experience here! Evie and Erin were great teachers, they made the training fun and intentional. I went from never riding a bike to being completely comfortable shifting gears, emergency braking and swerving and so much more in just 2 days. Highly recommend this course for safety, skills, confidence, and fun!

I was a total beginner when it came to riding a bikes and by the end of the class I was quite comfortable with the maneuvering. My only wish is if the course completion certificate and form for the DMV was given faster or in person rather than mailed so we can get our license faster.

Fantastic experience: Crus was a great teacher, I’m not sure I would’ve passed that class without his insider knowledge from riding himself over the years. Good lessons, maybe some more space needed for the breaking test to get into second gear but other than that amazing class.

Fantastic experience: I took the ARC 1&2 in one weekend and can confidently say I improved my riding skill as much in one weekend as years of riding on the street. My instructors, Colleen and Earl were total experts and extremely friendly, allowing me to feel comfortable to push myself trying and failing and trying again these difficult new skills. The classes were well worth it for me and the perfect step to doing my first track day

Positive experience: Had a great time, and instruction was good. Only drawback was size of class/course. We got bunched up fairly often which made it difficult to practice some of the techniques. I would absolutely recommend to someone wanting to learn how to ride!

Fantastic experience: Was a great experience, I felt like I grew leaps and bounds between the start of day one and the end of day 2. The instructors are very experienced and we’re able to quickly identify deficiencies and coach me in corrective actions to take. Safely is big focus!

Fantastic experience: 2 days extensive sessions, tiring but enjoyed and learnt a lot. Very welcoming teaching stuffs. Few things could be better :- 1. Refresh the selections of motorcycles. Most of them looked old. 2. Carry healthy snacks, like protein bars, would be nice for students. Water is provided.

I have been riding dirt bikes for 20+ years and they taught me the proper way to handle a motorcycle on the street. Very happy with my experience.

Fantastic experience: Great instructors! I had two woman instructors (who I not caught their names) on day one and I had Dave and George on day two. Everyone was kind, patient and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend that anyone who plans to ride take this course. It helps you become fully aware of important riding habits and how to be as safe as possible.

Fantastic experience: Would recommend. All instructors were super cool, great, and experienced. I used to drive bike back home, but here i learned alot of new skills. I would recommend to those as well who think its bit far from their location. I would say it will worth to get training from here. There was an institute nearby my location but I preferred this one (i preferred it due to its rating) and after getting training from this institute i came to know why it has 5 star rating.

Fantastic experience: A safe environment with expect staff to walk you through your desire to learn and build confidence in total control of riding a motorcycle. I highly recommend the basic course to anyone at any level or riding. The training was well worth my time as a licensed motorcyclist who learned new skills, refreshed old ones, and allowed a blend of fun, skill, and friendship getting to know other students and instructors.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended.. I think they are the best among all the Riding Instructors in the bay area. I went here for the Beginners class. Our instructor Evie is Amazing. Bikes are in great conditions. Really well paced and never felt rushed through out the class. Evie really made sure we learnt all the tips and techniques for riding safely on the road. Pacific Motorcycle Training is the only high quality Motorcycle Riding school in the entire bay area !!

Fantastic experience: I attended the basic motorcycle course and it was an excellent experience. The instructor was knowledgeable and helpful and the curriculum is incredibly well designed to slowly build up skills and confidence. I had a lot of fun but also learned a ton while also understanding the limitations of my abilities. I would highly recommend this course for anybody starting out to gain an early understanding of fundamentals of riding!

Fantastic experience: I would bet everything I own that if every rider took this class before getting on the road, there would be less than half of the current number of motorcycle accidents. The skill progression of the lessons are perfect. Starting out with basics all the way to at speed cornering and swerving in just 2 days. I started out pretty scared to lean the bike and by the end of the last day i was very comfortable with multiple forms of low and road speed cornering. Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Absolutely recommending this course for anyone who is going to start riding.
