Fantastic experience: Burges is the best drivers Ed school around here the people who work there are really cool and everything was pretty easy to get through I would chose them again

Fantastic experience: Mr. Burgess is hilarious and teachs very well. He made it really easy to understand the rules of the road and I am doing great because of it. The tests are well organized and easy to understand. The tests are based off of the book and if you read the material you should be able to pass. The likely hood of you failing is so low because you have to get lower than a 75. Burgess driving school is probably the best you will find I highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: We signed our 15 year old son up for this driver's ed course without really knowing what to expect. Reviews seemed good so we took a chance and I'm so glad we did. The instructor did a really great job of keeping things light and fun whenever possible but also impressed upon the kids how big of a responsibility driving is. My son said he really appreciated the cahoot quizzes they did in class. He found them to be really helpful at driving home (ha.) the most important info in a way that was fun and memorable. As a parent, I appreciated the fact that the instructor is a former police officer who had experience and insight in driving safety that others may not have. We drove 3 hours round trip for this course and I'd do it again. In fact, we will likely be back when my youngest is ready for driver's ed. They have a nice little parent lounge area where I could wait which was super convenient considering we were so far from home. All in all, great experience and we highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a driving school for your teen this is the place to go!! My daughter is kind of shy but she looked forward to going everyday! She was sad when the class ended. Doug is very good at what he does and is very patient with the kids and also very funny. Thank you to Doug for giving her the confidence and knowledge to become a relaxed teenage driver.

Fantastic experience: We did balda in the past and were not impressed, and everyone in my homeschool groups said burgess was way better... so this time, we did burgess. My daughter loves the class and teacher. Very outgoing, friendly, and fun. Parent lounge also available! And the classroom is cool even though it's crazy hot this week. I highly recommend this driving school.

Fantastic experience: Doug was a fantastic instructor he was engaging and was way more helpful than any teacher I’ve ever had he teaches pretty much everything there is to know for a new driver all you need to do is pay attention and you’ll pass I highly recommend Doug as a driving instructor also he had a pizza party at the second to last day of class and I missed it so Doug you owe me some pizza

Fantastic experience: My daughter took the classroom and required behind the wheel with them. She shows great confidence in her driving. I would highly recommend them. My other daughter's will be taking the class with them as well. Has been almost a year and here skill set is rock solid. I have enough confidence in her skills to drive alone or with her younger sisters.

Negative experience: My daughter took the course well over a year ago, and she still hasn’t finished her behind-the-wheel lessons. We call and call and are never able to reach anyone. What a nightmare this whole experience has been. We recommend you look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Great place to take required Illinois driving training hours or driving lessons!

Negative experience: I called in June and asked if they had remedial driving classes. The person on the phone said they didn't have any scheduled but they would ask and see if they could set one up and get back to me. I never got a call back. Saved up the money for the class. Called multiple times, emailed twice and left 2 messages with my name and number. Never got contacted. I called one more time and the woman said that they weren't licensed to do remedial classes and wouldn't be for 2 months. I called Balda driving school, immediately got someone on the phone and set up a class for 100 dollars cheaper for a simple 4 hour class! Now two days later burgess responded to my question on Facebook asking if they have remedial classes saying that they do. Are you licensed or not? So hard to get ahold of, overpriced and not reliable. Would not go here even if I could get ahold of someone to schedule it!

Fantastic experience: I was a student, and they were super cooperative, amazing teaching on and off road - all around fantastic. Mr. Burgess would lighten the room, and was very engaging. All services were as quick and as easy as possible. Even when they were extremely busy they had an abundance of patience and were quick to respond.

Fantastic experience: Burgess Driving School is the best around our area. They communicate well and are very professional and respond very quickly to any questions you may have. They are very flexible with scheduling driving lessons. Have had my other son through another driving school and know others that have been to other driving schools in our area. These schools are completely disrespectful and unprofessional. Burgess Driving School is the beat in the business and would highly recommend to everyone.
