The Next Street - Simsbury Driving School

The Next Street Simsbury Driving School stands as the premier choice for driver education in Connecticut, dedicated to making the journey to your driver’s license simple, stress-free, and successful. Serving the Simsbury community since 2009, our friendly and expert instructors have empowered countless local teens and adults to become confident, safe, and courteous drivers. We understand that getting licensed is a major milestone, and we are committed to guiding you through every step of the process with personalized attention.

Our comprehensive course offerings are designed to meet the specific requirements of the State of Connecticut while exceeding expectations. We offer a top-rated Full Driver Education Course, which includes 30 hours of live Zoom classroom sessions and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. This program goes beyond the state-mandated 8-hour drug and alcohol safety course, providing new drivers with unparalleled knowledge that can lead to a shorter license wait time for teens and potential insurance discounts. For those who only require the state minimum, we provide an 8-Hour Safe Driving Course delivered via live Zoom, available in flexible scheduling formats to fit adult learners' busy lives.

We believe in building competence from the ground up. Our Private Driving Lessons are conducted in 2-hour blocks, allowing our instructors to assess your skill level and build confidence gradually. Lessons cover everything from basic maneuvers like accelerating, braking, and turning to advanced skills such as highway driving, lane selection, and urban navigation. We also offer specialized Mock License Tests to ensure you are fully prepared for the real evaluation, as well as an on-site License Testing Service that eliminates the stress of crowded DMVs by bringing the examiner directly to our location.

Flexibility is at the heart of The Next Street. Whether you need early morning sessions, evening classes after work, or weekend opportunities, our extensive scheduling options ensure you can learn at a time that suits you. From the classroom to the road, we provide a supportive environment where safety and confidence are prioritized. Join us in Simsbury and experience the difference of a driving school that truly puts you first.
