Fantastic experience: Really nice people and really understanding, not seen them in person, but they are super nice and really helpful

Negative experience: The problem and the reason for the low stars are that I was told it took 1 business day to receive a certificate. I took my class on Saturday. I was told on Saturday we'd receive it by Tuesday at 5pm. (first of all, that's 2 business days not one) I received it Tuesday at 8pm. It was my fault for waiting that long but they definitely should have put that on the website. My class was great. Yolanda Ford was my instructor and although it was long she made it really fun.

Negative experience: Imani Hines was the instructor for my daughter's road test today. She was the rudest person I've ever encountered. Made a nervous experience even worse. Ms. Hines needs a course in sensitivity training and customer service. There's a big difference in being stern and being just down right rude. Telling someone that pass their exam " that's nothing to brag about" is just awful and uncalled for!!!!! Ms. Hines was annoyed the whole time and concerned about catching the " longest red light", are you serious? This is a big step in a young person's life and she almost ruined it with her nasty a$$ demeanor. Anyways she passed and WE will be celebrating her achievement today . Please get a new instructor or retrain Ms. Hines. She is too old to be behaving in such a manor!!!!! Also her driving package included an hour of driving before the road test and Ms. Hines did not honor that for whatever reason. An all around bad experience!! SMH

Fantastic experience: Wonderful way to get the information you need to be a successful driver instead of being a wreck-less driver Mr. Berry is the instructor made a punishment a learning adventure that saves lives.

Negative experience: My son and I both used this company in the past. So taking my daughter was a no brainer, or so I thought. It's been a terrible experience so far and mostly because my daughter hasn't even been able to get in the d$&? Class! There used to be an older white lady whom worked here, she wasn't very personable but she was organized explained absolutely everything and made sure the tasks associated with getting persons into class was completed. I don't know if the new confusion is caused by the change to Virtual Classrooms but this ordeal has me heated .

Fantastic experience: EXCELLENT LECTURE INSTRUCTOR WAS VERY PUNCTUAL WHEN IT CAME TO BREAKS AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN ALL AREAS OF DEFENSIVE DRIVING

Positive experience: I took the 6 hours + onsite road test, in the beginning the communication wasn't good at all. After complete the payment i received an email with the recipe, but it didn't have any information about the next step, I decided to wait a couple hours so I will get another email o maybe a call form the school but nothing happen. Next day I called the school and nobody pick up the phone, I had to call 3 more locations until finally I got somebody on the line. All that she said was 'You will get an email in between 24 and 48 hours after your purchase with link to schedule the classes'. After 3 days, ONCE again, I did not receive the email, so i called them again, finally I got the email with the link to schedule the classes. After all that everything was perfect, I was really lucky to have as an instructor, Lynea Laws, she was amazing, 100% recommended. Week later, I scheduled my road test, I got my certificated right away, went to the DDS and got my DL. (Easy process and you learn a lot)

Fantastic experience: I took a driving defense class to reinstate my license. The class was virtual because of the coronavirus, and i learned everything I would have learned if I was sitting in class. My instructor Mr.Turner was amazing, he kept me laughing, aware, and excited to hear what he had to say next. A-1 Driving School really delivered on they promise. Thank you A-1 Driving School!

Negative experience: When we first came, I would give this company 10 Stars. Since the main lady retired, a new staff came in. The new lead lady is Lazy and rude. I had to cancel a late book my drive due to a sudden change in work and she didn't even listen and charged me. We had to call this place so many times to make sure they did the work they were supposed to. One driving instructor is rude, has an attitude problem and inconsiderate which is not good when students drive. Now with newer people in charge, this business is getting a 1 star. Go somewhere else and save your money.

Fantastic experience: The class was very informative. My teacher Mrs. Turner kept the class involved and gave us many gems to use as Defensive Drivers. I will definitely be referring my friends and family to A-1 driving school.

Fantastic experience: This was an excellent class. I think it should be mandatory for all drivers, due to the changes in laws etc. I feel much more confident on the road and have prevented accidents due to taking this course. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: This was a great eye opener! My instructor wasn’t boring and she made sure she gave us plenty of real life examples. It was a fast two day course that is worth it regardless.

Fantastic experience: Contrary to my initial thoughts about the class the time actually flew by. Our instructor, Joel, was well prepared, you can tell he taught the class a few times, and very engaging with the class. Everyone seemed to want to join in with the discussions. I would definitely recommend the course and will probably take it again to help out with my insurance premiums in the future.

Fantastic experience: A-1 driving school offers a great driving defensive class. I’ve learned a lot about rules and regulations of the road. Also we learned that safety and focus is number one when it comes to driving. You take a risk not for just your own life but everyone else on the road. I will definitely be. Better driver and be more aware and safe as I drive.

Fantastic experience: My instructor Mr. Vern made the course intriguing and used very effective learning stategies to help each individual remember the main goal, which is safe and defensive driving no matter the reason we took the course. I will have my kids attend A1 Driving School

Fantastic experience: The instructor was very professional. I learned something new such as no lo prose, which a plea I never knew I could take also I received seven points off my driving license record for a two day three hour class. Clean, professional and effective.

Fantastic experience: From start to finish this group went above and beyond to get me in class. While in class, it was not uncomfortable as I would have imagined. The setting was accommodating and the instructor kind and knowledgeable. If you are in the unfortunate position of having to attend this course I highly recommend A-1 Driving.

Positive experience: I thought the teacher was had good knowledge and had a past experience in losing his/her license. The instructor put his/her heart into it and was not that hard to pass at the end.
