Coming into the program didn’t know anything about driving a Manuel truck and left with a passing score. If you are looking for a CDL school to go through. Driving academy 160 in Champaign is definitely the one to go through. They will forever have my thanks and gratitude.

Fantastic experience: Big thanks to Mike, Matt, Blake, Both Dans’, Lowell and Scott. I had so many days where I doubted myself and was ready to give up, they pushed me everyday while giving me great laughs and positive energy… and now I’m glad to say I’m an official CDL license holder… those guys welcomed me like family for the 2 months I was there and they’d do the same for anybody else that comes through the program! (P.S. If you see Blake, tell em Melvin said try on a 2x t-shirt)

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous coming into this program but from the class room to the yard was a great experience. All of the instructors were so nice and helpful. If you listen and take advice from them, all you need to do is put in the work and use your brain. They are there to help. I will miss all the faces I’ve met along the way through this process and wish everyone the best of luck!

They made sure I understood everything and always pushed me forward even when I thought I couldn't do it. They made me feel at home there. They are patient, kind, and fun! They will not let you get discouraged and will work with you until you succeed. Fantastic experience: Great place to earn your CDL. 5 weeks in the yard and today I got mine. Instructors have a tough love approach but they are helpful and want to see you succeed in the end. I'm very proud of har far I have come in this program

Negative experience: Personally wouldn't want to go there when the trainer allows a trainee to SMOKE on the fuel island.

They really do study their students and figure out where they are weak at and make sure that it becomes their strongest! The patients that these men have is remarkable! Fantastic experience: They give you all the tools needed to get your permit and then pass your CDL test. Also you test in the lot that you practice in for 3 weeks so it makes it all familiar when you test. The instructors are great and have alot of knowledge between them all.
