Professional Trucking Institute

Negative experience: Hello, this is how my week of trying to apply here went. After a week of trying to get 2 questions answered about enrollment, After talking to 15 different people and still not getting an answer. I call in to ask questions and it seems like whoever you get transferred too is more worried about what they are doing in the background to care what you are saying. Or is more than happy just to say “Yeah, we will have someone call you back” I drove over to the address listed for your office, to not even be able to find the place. So i call and get the same lady i talked to days ago that said she would call back in 15 mins…She never called. So she tells me theres no one in the office today..(its 10am Friday) and made it seem as if theres no one you can go talk to in person. She takes my number again..I don't get a call back for 7 hours, right until you closed I’m sure. I call back immediately…no answer. LOL What a rough process. All I wanted was to literally talk to someone for 5 minutes. All in all I'm honestly glad this didn't work out. I cant imagine how much of a headache going through this company would have been. I cant imagine giving you thousands of dollars to get schooling, when I cant even get a couple questions answered. LOL Save yourself the time and effort and get your schooling somewhere more professional.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars does not do Professional Trucking Institute justice. I cannot thank everyone at Professional Trucking Institute enough for all that they have done for me. It truly is a family-like environment, with knowledgeable instructors who care for each one of their students. The one-on-one training and open communication had me more than prepared to pass the CDL exam. A special thanks to Joe, Renee, Anthony, and Stacy, who were all phenomenal to work with and incredibly pleasant to be around. I would absolutely recommend PTI to anyone who is looking to take that next step in their career! 10-star school, and more importantly, 10-star people.

Fantastic experience: I failed my parallel park 2 times at my prior school. I was referred here by a great trainer from my prior school. They only let us test 2 times not 3. So I did a refresher course for a whole day with Professional Trucking Institute. I learned my maneuvers/basic controls a whole different way all of them! (Even my straight back.) I used what Professional Trucking Institute taught me on my 3rd test with maneuvers and passed! So after maneuvers is the road test. I passed it my first time! I had 3 different trainers and they are all very professional, direct, and want to see you with a CDL. You do your part they got you! I will never forget all three of you. Just trust them do what they say especially if you have a refresher course trust their system I’m living proof it works! Thank You so much from the bottom of my heart!

Fantastic experience: Google review First of all I want to preface this by saying that before coming to PTI I had zero experience driving a truck let alone a semi or school bus. I have spent the last 22 years in an office behind a computer so what I’m going to tell you will directly reflect PTI as a school and how their “process” works. I began this journey knowing that I don’t learn as well in a classroom setting and I needed the one-on -one teaching. From the pre-trip to the testing day, PTI will be by your side the entire way. Not a single day went by that I didn’t have that one-on-one guidance from the staff. Once the pre-trip was memorized then the actual hands on driving began. They were able to teach me all the driving skills necessary for the test in a matter of two days! I can honestly say that I can parallel park a semi easier than my car because of them. If anyone is thinking about getting their CDL or any endorsements (School bus, Passenger or even Hazmat ELDT courses) don’t hesitate and go to PTI.

Fantastic experience: I was a special case I'm sure. My life was complicated, my driving record sucked and I was stuck. A buddy told me to look into getting my cdl because he did and it changed his life. So I did. I've always loved to drive even when the state didn't think I should. I apprehensively chose PTI. No set schedule, online stuff- perfect! My apprehension was based on it sounds too good to... but it wasn't. This school allowed me to get on track finally! Now, great job w/ great $$ and options everywhere. Best suggestion I was ever given. Change your life and get that cdl!!thanks so much PTI!!
