Negative experience: Hello, this is how my week of trying to apply here went. After a week of trying to get 2 questions answered about enrollment, After talking to 15 different people and still not getting an answer. I call in to ask questions and it seems like whoever you get transferred too is more worried about what they are doing in the background to care what you are saying. Or is more than happy just to say “Yeah, we will have someone call you back” I drove over to the address listed for your office, to not even be able to find the place. So i call and get the same lady i talked to days ago that said she would call back in 15 mins…She never called. So she tells me theres no one in the office today..(its 10am Friday) and made it seem as if theres no one you can go talk to in person. She takes my number again..I don't get a call back for 7 hours, right until you closed I’m sure. I call back immediately…no answer. LOL What a rough process. All I wanted was to literally talk to someone for 5 minutes. All in all I'm honestly glad this didn't work out. I cant imagine how much of a headache going through this company would have been. I cant imagine giving you thousands of dollars to get schooling, when I cant even get a couple questions answered. LOL Save yourself the time and effort and get your schooling somewhere more professional.
Fantastic experience: 5 stars does not do Professional Trucking Institute justice. I cannot thank everyone at Professional Trucking Institute enough for all that they have done for me. It truly is a family-like environment, with knowledgeable instructors who care for each one of their students. The one-on-one training and open communication had me more than prepared to pass the CDL exam. A special thanks to Joe, Renee, Anthony, and Stacy, who were all phenomenal to work with and incredibly pleasant to be around. I would absolutely recommend PTI to anyone who is looking to take that next step in their career! 10-star school, and more importantly, 10-star people.
Fantastic experience: I failed my parallel park 2 times at my prior school. I was referred here by a great trainer from my prior school. They only let us test 2 times not 3. So I did a refresher course for a whole day with Professional Trucking Institute. I learned my maneuvers/basic controls a whole different way all of them! (Even my straight back.) I used what Professional Trucking Institute taught me on my 3rd test with maneuvers and passed! So after maneuvers is the road test. I passed it my first time! I had 3 different trainers and they are all very professional, direct, and want to see you with a CDL. You do your part they got you! I will never forget all three of you. Just trust them do what they say especially if you have a refresher course trust their system I’m living proof it works! Thank You so much from the bottom of my heart!

Fantastic experience: Google review First of all I want to preface this by saying that before coming to PTI I had zero experience driving a truck let alone a semi or school bus. I have spent the last 22 years in an office behind a computer so what I’m going to tell you will directly reflect PTI as a school and how their “process” works. I began this journey knowing that I don’t learn as well in a classroom setting and I needed the one-on -one teaching. From the pre-trip to the testing day, PTI will be by your side the entire way. Not a single day went by that I didn’t have that one-on-one guidance from the staff. Once the pre-trip was memorized then the actual hands on driving began. They were able to teach me all the driving skills necessary for the test in a matter of two days! I can honestly say that I can parallel park a semi easier than my car because of them. If anyone is thinking about getting their CDL or any endorsements (School bus, Passenger or even Hazmat ELDT courses) don’t hesitate and go to PTI.

Fantastic experience: I was a special case I'm sure. My life was complicated, my driving record sucked and I was stuck. A buddy told me to look into getting my cdl because he did and it changed his life. So I did. I've always loved to drive even when the state didn't think I should. I apprehensively chose PTI. No set schedule, online stuff- perfect! My apprehension was based on it sounds too good to... but it wasn't. This school allowed me to get on track finally! Now, great job w/ great $$ and options everywhere. Best suggestion I was ever given. Change your life and get that cdl!!thanks so much PTI!!

Fantastic experience: I'm writing this review. On the behalf of my girlfriend obtaining her CDL from this school. Me personally already had my CDL. She made a decision in her life to get it her own CDL. So she enrolled in the school. I was a little worried that she has no experience with driving CDL trucks. The school was a big help in getting her right on the right path. She put in a lot of hard work and absorbed everything that the school told her to do. People need to keep in mind that school involves studying and that you also have to put footwork in. But with the help and guidance of this school she nailed everything down first try. Took about 5 weeks total. My girlfriend said everyone was polite and had a good attitude work with. She is now a class A CDL holder.

Fantastic experience: I honestly don’t even know where to begin. When I started looking for CDL schools I came upon this one and loved that they offered one on one training. I had spoken with Renee multiple times on the phone and she helped me through the process of getting registered and answering any questions I had. When I started school I had faced a lot of other different challenges between getting Covid and pneumonia and just other issues and every time they worked with me with my schedule with my availability and even managed to get me in extra training time when it was needed. I have completed the program and passed my CDL test and now have my CDL class A. I highly recommend this school to anybody looking to get their CDL. Renee and Joe are amazing instructors I had never driven a truck or trailer that size before going to school and they managed to train me properly and efficiently. It’s a new experience for some and the nerves are to be expected but trust the steps they give you and know they aren’t setting you up for failure they want you to succeed and obtain your license. Fantastic experience: I passed my Class A CDL!!!! My one on one training with PTI was tailored to my schedule and my need to learn the manuevers from scratch. Initially, I certainly struggled to learn the manuevers required for the cdl skills test. But after learning the 4-step process that Renee and Joe teach, each manuever became much easier. I can't thank them enough for believing in me, and for encouraging me to keep trying and to follow the steps. End result: I followed the process AND PASSED MY CDL TEST!!!! Negative experience: I was told about this school from another student that I went to school with. I thought this was a great program for a person like myself, well I was wrong. Renee seemed very nice at first then came off with an attitude in a text message behind a payment , I let that go came to school willing to train more long hours and get a chance to obtain my CDL. Joe is not friendly and got impatient with me went to go get Renee to come try to so called help me and it was nothing but attitude given. Also they are very unprofessional the student that told me about their program they bashed talked about how she did not pay them how she struggled how she had an attitude with them as I did there's no reason for that student to come up or anything of what she had going on they sat over an hour going off on me and going back and forth with me about things that did not have anything to do with me. Renee has a very smart mouth and thought that I was going to apologize and she is the one that came incorrect to me I will not recommend the program to anyone who is trying to complete their CDL especially if your CDL is about to expire as mine is and they did not help me at all I can say I did receive my full refund back I will say that but overall not satisfied with the service and very unprofessional. They also charge different people different fees I was going to have to pay over $1,000 out of my pocket when another person only had to pay $300 out of theirs we both needed the same training same hours.
Felicia, you came to use for help after attending another local truck driving school in the area. You were angry and upset about your previous training and blamed that school for your CDL testing outcomes. We were willing to help you despite that, with very little time before your permit expired.
It is not our policy to allow students or instructors to show disrespect to one another on any level. Even though we sympathized with you, it became clear that your anger from your previous CDL training, was impacting your ability to foster trust with us, and receive proper training from our instructors.
We are very sorry it upset you when your instructor Joe followed our company policy to avoid any conflict and disrespect.
Unfortunately, due to your anger over the previous school you attended, we understand there was nothing we could have done correctly in your eyes…. Including giving you a full refund when we were not obligated to do so.
Felicia you’re right! Students attending our school pay different tuition amounts for some of the following reasons:
1) We proudly offer full and partial scholarships to those who qualify.
2) We offer various CDL training programs such as Class A, Class B, School Bus, Passenger, Hazmat, Refresher Training, and Restriction Removal.
3) We offer training at an hourly rate, based on individual needs.
You applied for a scholarship and was granted $500 to decrease your total tuition… and even though our 1st - time pass rate is 98%... we were also willing to give you a free retest, if for some reason you did not pass with us the 1st time. You were also allowed to get started training by paying a portion of your tuition (that was refunded to you).
Felicia we’re very sorry you didn’t find us BEFORE your bad experience. Perhaps then we would have had a real opportunity to help you obtain your CDL.

Fantastic experience: If you want your cdl fast this is the place hands down.I know people say that you can get your cdl in 3 weeks try 4 days ,if you study your notes, follow the steps and put in the time , you too will have your cdl in less than a week Rene and Joe was great very flexible and respectful, they know their stuff , they allow one on one , so please don't go to these schools that say they have 10 instructors , because its probably 100 students to that 10 ,if that's the case you won't get the proper teaching to pass.They will make you think your not capable of passing, you will only pay all your money to fail, not with PTI call Rene. Don't waist your money going to these other school, such rip offs, your only going to be disappointed ,Rene and Joe their the real deal , they got this thing down to a science .Call them you'll be glad you did , thank you PTI , you allow me Dolores and my husband Larry to start our trucking business, You Rock PTI thank you for your knowledge and skills

Negative experience: With all the wonderful reviews I’ve read and I’m the only person that’s giving 1 star and wish i could not have given that. I’ve had problems with this trucking school since i first reached out which was in April 2022. Spoke with ms Renae and she seemed very overwhelmed upon first speaking with her nothing went right decided to give them a second chance because i understand nobody’s perfect. Things seemed to go a lot smoother the second time but then went down hill. Some people are not as fast learners as others and because of that they kept rescheduling my times and dates for testing etc and due to me relocating to another state and trying to get things done in a timely manner was not the case. Joe is not very friendly and made me extremely nervous Renae is his tag along and doesn’t have a voice because joe seems to run everything. They didn’t seem to really care weather or not i got my training and testing done. They are a complete rip off please find another professional truck driving school because this is not the one. They got a free $2200 from my former employer to do absolutely NOTHING

Fantastic experience: Even though I am a newer driver at the age of 18, this course helped me get my class A manual license with no prior training in only 2 weeks! Highly recommend training here. Trainers are forgiving and helpful, if you are looking to pass quickly and safely, this is the place.

Fantastic experience: This is a fantastic company to get your CDL with. After having a falling out with the Prime Inc training program because of the aggressive trainer I was put with, I came here to finish up my training. After calling a dozen places to find one that offered pad training at an hourly rate instead of a full course, this was one of the only places I found that offered that. I was able to pay for just a few days of training that I needed. The trainers quickly accommodated their training program to what I was already taught at Prime. These trainers are also the best you could ask for. Joe & Renee are extremely kind, patient, have an amazing sense of humor, and will keep in touch with you long after you graduate to help you in your career. They have all sorts of small tips and tricks as well to get you to pass on the first try. They will give you more hours of training than you paid for as well. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to get my CDL. They believed in me even when I was doubting myself. Upon graduating, I deemed them my “trucking god-parents” and Joe said they “would accept that role”, I still laugh to myself at Joe’s response.

Fantastic experience: This schooling is awesome. Rene and Joe are extremely helpful and knowledgeable with helping you obtain a CDL. You get 1 on 1 training and they are patient with you. They helped me get my CDL just follow the system they have and you will be good to go. Joe is one of the best drivers I have ever seen he can fix any issue you have and help you be a better driver along the way. Rene is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and is just as knowledgeable. You wont regret using these guys and in the end will come out as a commercial driver and a new career.

Fantastic experience: they are the best! I called over a dozen schools and none of them offered a program like the one at PTI. My trainer, Joe, had 27+ years of experience and it shows! Honestly all I did was show up to school and listen to him and I passed! During my test I was on the edge of my seat, nearly panicking because I kept thinking “when is the hard part going to come?” But it didn’t! Joe and Renee prepared me so well that I passed my test with flying colors all while waiting for “the horror”!! If you’re looking for a CDL prep school please let this be your sign to choose PTI.

Fantastic experience: There are a lot of trucking schools to choose from. I can say with confidence I am glad I chose Professional Trucking Institute for my training. A lot of schools have a bad ratio of instructors/trucks to students, but this school had true 1 on 1 training, it was me and one other student with 1-2 instructors and one truck. This gave us a lot of time behind the wheel and personalized instruction to learn the ropes. Stay focused and pay attention to what the instructors are teaching you and you will do fine. Fantastic experience: I was able to obtain my Class B license within 2 weeks! The training is 1 on 1, that means you will have more quality time with the instructor's. They will also teach you many things, from the bare bones of a truck, too knowing exactly what to look for and how to identify any problems. The instructor's take there job very seriously and you can tell that they want nothing but your success! All together I would say my experience was genuine, thoughtful, and successful!

Fantastic experience: What attracted me to PTI was there flexible schedule. I work full time. I could not afford to take several weeks off work because the classes were only offered during the day. Only have to take two days off/week for two weeks and only having to take one week off for one week made it doable for me. The smaller class sizes were nice also because we got more time behind the wheel. The techniques they use are easy to understand and easy to follow. By the time test day came, I felt well prepared to take the test. The price was right too. Thank you PTI for creating this program! Without it I'm not sure I would have been able to take a class this soon if at all.

Fantastic experience: My overall experience with PTI has been beyond my expectations. Signing up was quick and easy, and took a lot less than I was expecting, only taking a week from the time I signed up to the time I started the course. Renee was nothing but polite and professional. She responded quickly and would answer any questions that I had. She was very supportive and would offer any help that she could provide. Joe was a very knowledgeable instructor. He instructed with tough love, which in my opinion, is the best method for truck driving. Joe can watch what you’re doing wrong and tell you how to correct your mistakes, which speaks volumes when trying to learn how to drive a truck. The one-on-one learning environment is the only way to learn effectively. I was more than fully prepared for my testing, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with PTI as well as Joe and Renee. All I can say is thank you for helping me get my CDL and being excellent instructors.
