Fantastic experience: I had a great experience taking behind-the-wheel driving session with Jules at Dexterity Driving School. He was incredibly patient, supportive, and calm, which was especially helpful for me as I had some anxiety about driving. Fantastic experience: Great Teacher, I had to go to college next week, I only had 3 days to learn how to drive and pass the test. Not only did I past the Test I Scored a 98. Don’t Think twice about booking with him. I booked the 10 hour package which I recommended at the minimum for new drivers. The price is peanuts to the outcome you’ll receive.

Fantastic experience: I had my road test with Jean on 06/25/2022. Jean was prompt (even when I made the appointment late), gave clear explanations for how the parallel parking segment would be scored, and gave good attention to the moves I was making as a driver. I appreciated Jean’s last minute flexibility and attentiveness as an examiner!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! Don’t even think twice before booking with Dexterity. Jules is a patient and strategic teacher, he first understands your weak points and then gives you the tools and practice to correct those. I took the 4-hour package and passed the driver’s test in the first attempt. Thank you, Jules and Dexterity.

Positive experience: They are very friendly & Mr. Jules teach me well... Only I'd complain about their website. It's messed up!

Negative experience: extremely unprofessional. cancelled my behind the wheel appointment and didn’t even contact me to inform me of this I had to call myself to see what was going on. I have yet to recieve a refund because the guy in the office (doesn’t want to be bothered). Do not go to this driving school.

Fantastic experience: Mr. Jules provided excellent instruction for my son, who passed the driving test on the 1st try!! He worked with our schedules, arrived on time for the lessons and was professional when addressing my questions related to payments and a minor website issue.

Negative experience: ❌❌❌they are the worst never take your test with them they will fail you once to pay them gain... I wouldn't recommend you. Please don't make an appointment with them.

Fantastic experience: I had a blast learning with Mr. Jules! He appeases to all learning styles. He isn't aggressive, the atmosphere in the car is perfect for anyone who is nervous about driving. I can parrell park into any space thanks to him! He's a great instructor, I can't wait to learn how to drive clutch!

Negative experience: TERRIBLE!!!!!! If I could give -5 I would. I scheduled a road test and they absolutely ripped me off. They told me that I “used too much caution”, on the phone call after my test and the instructor was commenting the entire time during my road test. When arriving at the traffic circle there is a yield sign. I stopped because there was a car coming around the circle and I did not know if they were going to continue going because they DID NOT have a yield sign; the instructor then goes on to say “why did you stop” as a “critique ” when as a new driver I should stop. He also said that I “used too much caution” when entering the parking lot at the end of my test, and because the cars behind me were honking. Upon entering the parking lot I was close to the curb, I did not touch, graze, scrape or go up on to the curb as I was turning the wheel to get further from the curb he proceeded to put his hand onto the wheeling resulting in me failing when this was not necessary. In the phone call he tries to use his “20 years of experience” to say that this was NOT a bad judgment call. Another one of the instructors called me a liar and at the end of the phone call proceeding to say “you’re making me sick”. There are many other things that were said during the test as well as during the phone call that were COMPLETELY unprofessional, disrespectful and did not provide a reasonable explanation as to why I failed my road test.

Negative experience: The person i mostly communicated with was named Jules. He overcharged for DC driving test and wasn’t very friendly during the test itself. He seemed like he was in a rush and was quick to take my money as well with very little concern about whether I pass or fail.

Fantastic experience: Samuel is a wonderful instructor. Super patient and very knowledgeable.

Negative experience: First off. I set a appointment to use their vehicle and 1 hour prep . price 99.00 during the pandemic i can not drive. requested my money back. Next day no answer ! . Thats okay ill be down there tomorrow.. See you soon.

Fantastic experience: I can only speak for me but these other people who have bad reviews are lying. Mr Jules and Mr Hernandez are great instructors I had a very bad phobia of driving. They both helped me get over my phobia and they were so nice and made me comfortable and always were on time for our appt they are great instructors and I would recommend them to anyone

Fantastic experience: Good at taking the time to help you prepare on what will be on the driving exam, very understandable and comfortable lessons, only minor fault was some communication in details with some things but once its brought up to their attention in the end it worked out. In all I had a good time and very grateful for the teaching & experience thank you.

Fantastic experience: Mr. juels ( might not be the way you spell it ) was very pleasant and on time passed my test the first time. I would recommend this place to anyone :)

Negative experience: (They must be paying people to write good reviews or they are fake)Do not even waste your time...I cant say enough about how unprofessional the scheduler is I was actually shocked and wanted to get my money back. Do yourself a favor find some other school to work with. I don't know if they even care about providing good customer service, when I told her that I would not be renting the car from them nor engaging them for any other hours she literally said I don't care...so that's that. This school is a joke

Negative experience: Instructor (Jules) took two other clients during my allotted time, causing me to be more than 45 minutes late to my driving test. I've also never received ruder service.

Fantastic experience: After switching from DC star driving school because of bad experience with Mr.ish I’ve came to dexterity driving school and Jose was the best instructor I’ve had. Within a week he taught me everything and I was able to get my license

Negative experience: Find another school... On Tuesday March 27th I booked a rush appointment with a use of their car for $160 for 3pm on Thursday. After taking the day off from work I ending up waiting over an hour for Jean who never showed up for my appointment. I called 10 min before the appointment to their office a few times and they didn't pick up. I had other instructors calling them and they still didn't pick up. I had to ask a stranger for Jeans number and after 20 calls he finally texted me (can I call you later) so I kept calling and he wouldn't answer then he texted me saying he would be there soon. While waiting the receptionist called me back and had no Idea what was going on and couldn't get a hold of Jean either. At 3:45 when the DMV closed he then called to asked if I could re-book the appointment... I said I would if he gave me a discount of minus $80 (60 for car use and minus 20 for expedited service(what a joke) When they refund me I will give them a better review for at least having some customer service.

Negative experience: I have been calling non stop this week and no one has answered or returned my calls. I had a road test scheduled for last month buy I canceled a week before my appointment. I went through their refund process and it has not been 3 weeks going on four that I have not been returned my 80$ .

Fantastic experience: So, I had an appointment and my instructor D. Batts. Im so happy that I got him as an instructor. I had tried Dexterity Driving School years ago and had many lessons with the owner, and its seemed he NEVER PAID ATTENTION TO ME, only the laptop while he was making appointment for the next student driver. Mr. Batts actually made me feel comfortable with driving, and that I was actually learning what I paid my hard earned money to do! I was shocked to know that everyone had such bad experiences to the school after Mr. Batts I feel bad, HOWEVER NEXT TIME REQUEST IF YOU CAN MR. BATTS he will show you how to drive and will get your license!!!!!

Negative experience: I've been waiting on my refund for a lil over a month it has gotten to the point they won't answer their phone or respond to emails. Worst place ever do not use them for any service they don't even honor their own policy

Fantastic experience: Just passed my road test 'first time' with the help of probably one of the 'best' driving instructors you can have,,Idris was calm, patient and a pleasure to learn from. Enjoyed every lesson.,,Brilliant!! Highly recommended!! Thanks Idris @ Dexterity!!

Negative experience: I would give them 0 stars if possible. I have never come across a more disorganized or dishonest company. WARNING: If you have a road test appointment scheduled, CALL THEM 3-5 days ahead otherwise they will claim that you are not in their system. EVEN if you have literal receipts. I took off from work and the supervisor did not even apologize. I have filed a better business bureau report - let's hope this causes them to either rectify their ways or go bust!

Fantastic experience: Dexterity driving school is the best driving school ever! I passed my road test on the first try. Idriss is really helpful and patient. He gives great tips and will help you learn with ease. I would recommend this to anyone learning to drive for the first time or to those with experience. Overall, the service was phenomenal!

Fantastic experience: I can't speak for the whole school but I can vouch for Steven. I came to him with absolutely 0 experience behind the wheel (I don't think midnight club video game can count as experience, lol) and that was fine with him. Instead of starting me off on the road he took me to RFK stadium. At RFK we drove around until I felt comfortable enough to go on the road. I was nervous driving on the road with other cars, but his conversation made me feel very comfortable. When other cars blew at me because I refused to block the intersection he assured me that I was in the right, and they were in the wrong. This was my first time, and at the end of my 2 hr session, I was able to drive my own self home. Through out the ride we talked about numerous things, and he assured me plenty of times that my driving was great for my first time. I would defiantly recommend this school if all of their drivers are like Steven, and I would request him if he's available. The down side is that I've been calling for 3 days to book another appointment with him on both phone numbers, but no one will answer, so I'm going to Ethiostar driving school. Hopefully they'll fix their phones, but other than that 5 stars for me. Side note: I noticed people saying that the drivers never showed up. I scheduled mines on the phone and he showed up on time. So my advice is to call instead of scheduling online. Their cars were also very up to date.

Fantastic experience: Mr. Gin is an Excellent instructor. I had a fear for driving, and Mr. Gin was patient with me and actually thought me techniques i can use for life. Thank you Gin.

Fantastic experience: Perfect in Customers service

Negative experience: Horribly disgusted! I scheduled an appointment FOR MY BIRTHDAY! via online and on that day i was angry that they stood me up. I had called them 20 times since their "opening time" which was 9'o clock and they not did answer me until it was 30 mins over my supposed pick up time which was 10 o clock. They said i was not on the schedule and basically told me that they didnt check there online schedules and that they were sorry. This busy is horrible whats the point in having an online website that takes appointments when they do not check it

Positive experience: The teacher was average. They did not take me on the highway or expressway. The guy seemed more interested with his phone at times. Also very little parking practice.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful Class!! Nice cars!! Good learning environment!! The videos and the lectures were very simple and educated. The teacher always asked for the student input on everything and put safety as No 1 priority!! He also made sure we took the following procedures to get our license! I would recommend this to anybody specially HS students!!!

Fantastic experience: While my start with the school was initially negative due to a scheduling issue my experience with the school was great. Patrice the owner resolved the issue quickly and my main instructor Jean was very informative. Since I needed to be expedited to get my license I didn't practice nighttime driving but my parking lesson was excellent and I have no issue with it. I had to change instructors for two days since Jean was not available. Both were very good. Within 14 hours I was able to pass my road test with ease. I would recommend this school to others.

Fantastic experience: I was refer by a friend who obviously had good driving lesson from this driving school and today I am happy to write a review to recommend them. Very professional and with new cars full of technology. if you are looking for driving school give them a try.

Fantastic experience: This driving school gave me the best experience. Jean (my driving instructor) was superb. He got me over my fear of driving in no time. I was so afraid of getting behind the wheel after being in a pretty bad car accident, but he was able to help every step of the way. He is very patient, friendly, and understanding. Jean worked around my schedule without any issues. I loved my experience with Dexterity and I hope that this review really helps someone.

Fantastic experience: I went to Dexterity Driving School I learned how to drive and learn many wonderful in class instructions. I learned traffic signal management. The instructor was very nice and patient.
