Fantastic experience: Yolanda was wonderful to work with when it came time for my son to take his driving test. Wish we had found her sooner and will be using her in the future for sure!

Negative experience: This driving school is an absolute scam. I was a past student at this location, and from the very beginning, Yolanda was a HORRIBLE teacher, its one thing was to not explain much of anything to a first time driver but its another thing to belittle and degrade a student driver especially when the parent is paying for it!! Every time i did something wrong she would just look at me like i was stupid or something, when it is quite literally her JOB to teach people how to drive. Rude glances and sly remarks don't teach anyone anything, not only that but she was telling my mom in-front of me about what i did wrong in the lesson and i was literally holding back tears because she was so rude, but she started getting an attitude with my mother as well! For this amount of money to get yelled at and gain nothing but resentment its not worth it.

Fantastic experience: This driving school was perfect for us, close to home, good available times to schedule drives, and very nice staff! Would have used again if I had another child. :)

Negative experience: Review for 3 Way Instruction – Stay Away! I have been more than patient with 3 Way Instruction, but my experience has been nothing but frustrating and unprofessional from start to finish. I initially signed my son up for virtual Driver’s Ed class based on positive reviews. However, from the very first class, things went downhill. We were promised a link before the first session, but when the day arrived, nothing was sent. I attempted to contact the company multiple times via phone and email, but no one responded. The next day, I finally received an apology and a link—too late for the first class intended class. During the next session, I attended to ask questions, but most of them were met with “ let me get back to you on that,” and I was told someone would follow up. No one ever did. The instructor seemed unfamiliar with the material and simply read from the curriculum rather than providing meaningful instruction. Things continued in this manner until one day, during a scheduled break, I noticed my son had been on his “10 min break” longer than usual. It turned out that the instructor took aban extended break to handle personal matters. She had forgotten to mute herself while dealing with a personal credit card issue for over 15 min—completely unprofessional. My son could hear all the details. Despite these red flags, we completed the virtual portion, and I handled the behind-the-wheel instruction myself, following all DPS requirements. When my son was ready for his driving test, I reached out to schedule with Yolanda Nettles. She assured me she would accommodate my son’s busy schedule, including a Sunday test, though she normally doesn’t work Sundays. Because of this accommodation, I went ahead and paid in advance. The day of the test, we arrived 15 minutes early. The office was dark, and no one was there. I waited, assuming she might be running late, but after five minutes past our scheduled time, I called and emailed multiple times with no response. Despite receiving appointment reminders the day before and the morning of, Yolanda never showed up. I didn’t hear back until the following afternoon, when she rescheduled. At the next appointment, she casually chuckled and said she “got her dates mixed up,” then gave a different excuse about being out of town with family. Her lack of professionalism was baffling, especially since we had confirmed our appointment via email. To top it off, when I presented the required documents, she scolded me in front of my son, demanding that I hand them to him instead of directly to her. Then, after all of this, I was told I didn’t have all the necessary documents—even though I had checked with her beforehand and was assured I did. I even contacted the DPS, who confirmed that I had everything needed. At this point, I decided I had enough and requested a refund instead of proceeding with the test. Unsurprisingly, they refused to refund me, forcing me to dispute the charge with my credit card company. This business is disorganized, unprofessional, and unreliable. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Negative experience: I enrolled my child at this school based on the many reviews I saw here, and the reputation of Ms Yolanda. What I read and what I experienced were two different things. I should start by saying it was not Ms Yolanda that did the one driving lesson that we did. It was a gentleman and it was a Friday 6pm lesson. The lesson did not start until 615 as the instructor was late. He got into the car with my child and another teenage driver and first told them that he didn’t want to be there. During their drive, he took at least one personal call on his speaker phone, answering to a caller who said, “Hi Bestie!” While the other student was driving, this instructor asked my child what they thought about the recent inauguration and proceeded to share his opinion of it. When they returned and the instructor debriefed me, telling me that he should not have “passed” my child on this lesson, but he went ahead and passed them anyway because a lot of these lessons are all the same. He didn’t tell me what made my child not pass. I provided this feedback to Ms. Yolanda but it was clear that my expectations and hers are different for a driving instructor. She stated that she didn’t see much wrong with what I described above and gave me some reasons why those things might have happened. I simply disagreed and we parted ways. I wish this school all the best as they continue. I just want others who are considering this school to have some other perspectives on the experience so they can make an educated decision for their family.

After the test, she reviewed his test in detail, sharing what he did well on and what he needed to work on (he still passed). She will be getting our daughter inb2 years!!

Fantastic experience: We used 3-way for my 18-year-old son. Overall, he had a great experience. Scheduling in car lessons was easy. There were many options for lesson times and times that were reasonable. There are multiple ways to communicate with the instructor, and she keeps informed on what the student needs to work on before their next instruction. Overall, we had a great experience. Now, we are just waiting for his license to come in.

Fantastic experience: Best instruction for my teenage son! Yolanda has a high level of expertise in driving knowledge as well as her ability to transfer that knowledge and skill to her students. She brings high energy and passion to each student and I am so thankful for her time with my son. My 15 yr old will tell you that her class is challenging but worth it. I will have my daughter go through this course as well and will tell all my friends to invest the time and money into Yolanda and her program. I am grateful for the knowledge and skills that my teenage driver has now, the preparation is a big blessing. While we can’t protect our kids from everything, we can prepare them better and Yolanda does just that for student drivers.

Positive experience: Fair price, and I feel my son was taught enough to get the basics that I honestly did not want to teach him myself. The class time was positive and so was the drive time. The instructor was very good and informative and gave me advice on what to work with my son on when he was with me. He took his actual driving test here as well, in which I really liked because getting an appointment at the DPS is ridiculous, and he got to drive the car he was learning in. Only negative experience was trying to get ahold of anyone or to get a call back after money was paid to take his final test. However it was all taken care of and he was successful, and I do recommend this driving school to anyone that does not want to teach there kid themselves. Thank you and my son has been driving on his own about 4 months so far and doing well. Thank God.

She helped me if I was confused on something and she explained it better for me to be able to understand I can’t thank her and Mrs.Beatrice enough for being so kind and understanding and willing to help me get my license I really appreciate it!

Negative experience: ***DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE*** This was one of the most frustrating EIGHT months and our son still didn't get done! We paid $425 but couldn't finish the driving/observation hours in EIGHT months!! You have to fight with everyone else for a spot and date for driving/observation hours. The kids already have to know how to drive or Yolanda fusses at them constantly. Our son had anxiety about the whole situation so we asked for a refund for our other drive times and received $7.00 because of a shady contract. Terrible customer service and receptionist full of attitude! ***DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE*** I NEVER leave reviews because this is totally the response I expected - of course they will say it is not their fault and I DID NOT say that we didn't practice! His partner in the car was in tears and soooo upset! We also paid 2 non-refundable fees so read that contract closely!! Sign up at your own risk....

Negative experience: Terrible customer service and receptionist full of attitude. They kept changing the dates over and over again for the road test, and it dragged on for over a month. Do not recommend this place.

Negative experience: Mrs.Yolanda was so rude to my Son , she kept yelling at his like he had no worth. She kept telling my Son her personal life , when my Son doesn't care about her personal life she go there to drive not to hear stories and all she does is want money she is so greedy. If you see this driving place keep going.

Fantastic experience: I recently moved from another state and needed to retake the driving test to get a Texas license. 3-Way Instruction was able to quickly schedule a driving test for me! Highly professional and also very knowledgeable (relearned a few basic things I forgot over the years) Highly recommend for any age of driver or learner!

He did a parallel parking class with her to try to get it down good and he said she was great and easy to learn from. Fantastic experience: I did my road test here. I did not pass the first time, but received constructive criticism, practiced my flaws for 2 weeks and then took the test again (there is a complimentary second opportunity). I Passed the second time and I feel more confident driving now.
