Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a driving academy school in DFW then look no further; Maverick Academy-Burleson. Ms. Michelle has AMAZING customer service! From my family and I first initial phone call, to meeting her in person. She is very patient, and knowledgeable. You can see her passion, and willingness to help. My family and I thank God for their staff, and this amazing school!

Fantastic experience: We have had great experiences with Maverick Aledo location. Today my 4th child, took her driving test with Michael. Michael is professional and knowledgeable and made my daughter feel at ease for her test. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: After completing our own parent-taught driving course, I reached out to Maverick for a DPS Authorized Road Test. We were able to pay a very reasonable fee for a practice test to make sure our student was ready and then booked the real test for the next day. The examiner was very friendly and put my son at ease (I'm so sorry I don't recall his name!) and the staff member at the front desk was just as helpful. She explained that we could pay and have Maverick submit our paperwork directly to the DPS to upgrade from the learner license to a provisional license. It was a no-brainer to avoid what can be a hassle when you have a DPS appointment. Thank you so much, we appreciate your help at finishing this last step of the licensing process.

Fantastic experience: We love Maverick! They were so accommodating and helpful when Driving School of Mansfield shut down without a refund or an alternative local option for us. Adam and everyone at Maverick offered us personalized help for our son, who had already earned his permit through the other place. Thank your for caring about your local community!!!

Fantastic experience: Shout out to Dezeray at the Aledo location! We’ve had two students go through Maverick’s drive program and Dezeray has been there to help us through it all. The office runs smoothly, is clean and welcoming, and any questions are answered with kindness and respect.

Fantastic experience: Lawd, bless these people. Whether it be the 1 million questions I asked, the instructors risking life and limb, or just the hours they spend on the road, they are unsung heroes, lol!!!! This was the best way for my son to get his license. I would definitely recommend. Both of my older daughters got their license through Maverick too. The best part? NO DPS!!!!!!! Thank ALL of you!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Jessica was amazing! She was patient and extremely helpful. I didn’t quite have the correct documents and she made sure i took the right steps to acquire those missing documents and she had me rescheduled for a different location due to their road testing times. If it weren’t for Jessica i would have had to go through DPS and that would’ve took forever. She’s great!

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much for all the Instructors for your support, help, and understanding during Driving school classes! I have two Teenagers boys. I couldn't teach them by myself . Both boys learned ruels and how to drive safely. It have been more than year since they learned how to drive. They both got Driving licenses last year. Thanks again!

Negative experience: This place is terrible. I went through the process of enrolling my daughter. I only get custody of her on the weekend. So i made arrangement with her mother, and work, to get her into a 2 week streamlined class to do both classroom and driving. Was led by this facility that all was taken care of. I drop her off in morning and pick her up in afternoon. So on the first day i took her, and then told" by the way, she's not scheduled for driving". Then, at this time, it was explained to me that I had to go to their website, pay an additional $10 to use the site and schedule the driving course. This is after I was told she was set up to take the class and the driving. Then they proceeded to infer that it is my fault she's was not enrolled for the driving portion. At no point during the making of these arrangements was I ever told, "you have to schedule the driving". What kind of school doesn't control scheduling. I would not recommend this facility to anyone other than house wives that have nothing else to do but sit home and accommodate them. Then to add insult to injury, they are charging a $50 administration fee to my refund, when they clearly didn't do anything. Enroll here at your own risk

Fantastic experience: Had an awesome experience,started with my driving classes early this year,then took my road test driving today,very cool instructors and the lady at customer service is kind with a human-touch heart.She never got tired of my series of inquiry mails...Thank you Maverick,Don't hesitate to sign up for any of their services they deliver 100 PC kudos.

Fantastic experience: I did a 2 hour Private Drive Lesson with Sir Jason. He is a very good instructor.. He is professional and friendly at the same time.. He was very patient and i learned a lot from him.. He definitely helped me to prepare for my road test..

Negative experience: My step son arrived at 10.22, 10 23 for 10.20 appointment. He was turned away because he was late. Talk about poor customer service.

Fantastic experience: My son went through Maverick to get his license. My daughter did her drive test to avoid going through the DMV process. Highly recommend Maverick!

Fantastic experience: Not sure what all the bad reviews are. I had a drivers test today. I was super nervous but Adam instantly made me feel comfortable driving! I passed!!! You guys are awesome!

Negative experience: I attended this horrible driving academy 3 years ago. I decided to attend Maverick because all my friends were going here and I wanted to do my drive times with them. I went through the whole course and attended 5 out of the 7 of the drive times. On my 5th drive I mentioned to one of the drivers that I knew the lady that ran the Burleson Driving Academy. After that he called the owner of Maverick and told her all sorts of BS. They then proceeded to call me a spy and to leave immediately. They called my parents the next day and told me I could no longer attend Maverick and to go else where. My parents were furious and demanded a refund and all my paperwork and they said they would that. However when we went up there to get it they told us the paperwork was lost and they never gave us a refund. I had to completely restart my drive times and start at Burleson Driving Academy. And they welcomed me with open arms. So I DO NOT recommend Maverick. They are highly unprofessional and act very childish.

Negative experience: I have been trying to call them it just rings no one has answered the phone and there mail box is full so you can't even leave a message for them to call you back

Negative experience: The instructor sent my 16 year old daughter home in tears because he was so rude.She also passed the driving test.

Fantastic experience: My daughter recently took the driving test with Misty. She did not pass it because nerves had gotten the best of her. Misty was so great with her she explained to her what to improve on and we rescheduled a retake with her for the following week and I am happy to say that she passed the second time.

Negative experience: 7 days to learn how to drive is fantastic, an amazing deal the only catch is scheduling drive times with them, Is such a hassle to even get a spot let alone finish in 7 days, you are more likely gonna finish in a month or two then 7 days because of how much trouble you have scheduling online or trying to contact them.

Negative experience: This review is for Misty Withee, and not for Maverick Driving Academy in general.........If you take your driving test at the Maverick school, go to the Aledo location! Misty Withee gave my daughter the test at the Burleson location and was rude in the EXTREME, and made her even more nervous that she already was. She was rushing her from the start, and nagging her while she was trying to take her time and be careful, like she always does when she drives. I have driven with her (my daughter) for a year now and she drives better than most the people out there, but she felt rushed and Misty said a truck had to slow down for her after she turned to make a left. She failed her and then the Maverick school gets another 20 dollars to retake the test. We then went to the Aledo location, and she passed with ease, and the gentleman there ( don't recall his name ) was very nice and made her feel at ease.

Negative experience: My son setup and paid for a drive time for 10:40 we got here late because of a family emergency this morning . We couldn't call because the school doesn't open until 1 but online it says noon. Needless to say it's 12:01 and nobody is here we've been sitting outside this whole time. Nobody answers the phone because they aren't even open. This is crazy. Why set up a time to drive if YOU'RE NOT EVEN OPEN AT THAT TIME?!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Maverick is the one,after helping 11 daughter,nieces and nephews get started in life I know from experience that after Burleson driving academy,online courses and a few others over the years Maverick is the only way I can recommend. As a small business owner and dealing with the public that these folks handle their business and do what they tell you they will do. Fantastic experience: After reading the bad reviews I was a little hesitant on signing my daughter up at this academy....however...I decided to contact them anyway and I am glad I did. Not only did Amber answer the phone right away but she was very helpful answering all my question...and she was very friendly! I had to call back a couple times and she answered each time only once did I have to leave a message and she called back within 10 or 15 minutes. Ignore the bad reviews they seem to be bogus! Thank you Amber for your help!
