Behind the Wheel, LLC is a fully accredited driving school certified by the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles. We are licensed and bonded to facilitate all training required by the state to obtain your driver's license. We can also administer the required knowledge and skills test, making us a one stop shop conveniently located West of the Ashley, in Charleston, SC. All classes are currently conducted online using zoom. Please check for our available scheduled dates.
We will also provide a pick up and drop off service for all students needing driving lessons that live within 10 miles.

Negative experience: Fake address! This address is a an empty forest, across from Goodwill! Never answers telephone. Doesn't return calls with voicemail left, or emails. Horrible business practices.

Thank you for your comment! We are guilty of not always answering the phone because we are driving with students!! However, we are actually a real driving school servicing the low country for 3 years! We have a home office that we don’t like to share the office of so we use a grid coordinate in West Ashley to show everyone where we operate out of. We provide pick up services for driving lessons and offer zoom classes for classroom instruction! I don’t generally pick up spam calls.

Negative experience: I used Behind the Wheel. Immediate response to all communication... right up until my credit card cleared. After that, the only way to get a response was to hit his email, text, voicemail, and website contact form on the same day. I'd always start with an initial round of normal communication and then wait a few days. This was the only protocol that worked, and I had to use it three or four different times.

Hey Patrick, I'm sorry we were not able to meet your expectations. We certainly don't intentionally ignore incoming calls. Especially right after the credit card clears!
