Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this driving school. The other driving schools I tried to hire were more expensive and didn't have any openings for several months. Thanks to Ronald, who is an extremely caring, professional, and patient driving instructor, my adult daughter who is 22 finally got her license with the Adult Behind the Wheel course. We are extremely satisfied with the entire experience encountered by choosing Aapex Driving School. They are true professionals who care about their customers.

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend this school enough. As an adult driver who learned driving late in life, this school has been a blessing. I've now actually understood how to drive, and Charles helped me understand tips and tricks that made it less anxiety provoking. They are fair in their pricing and prompt in replying. Very happy I found it!

Negative experience: I’m not sure how the driving school is overall. But we live in a cul-de-sac and the teacher with out a student in the car came flying through our neighborhood. We have many children who play on our block as it usually on the cars that live her that come through. We have signs all on our street that say “slow down children at play”. I had stand in the middle of the street to explain to him that this road has children at play and the speed limit is not 40mph through. I am astonished to know that a driving school and the teacher would allow driving behavior like this. It makes me wonder if he feels comfortable enough to fly through our street like this what he teaching our children.

Negative experience: A person we believe was a Driving instructor drove thru our cul-de-sac speeding. In the front of the cup-de-sac as signs that say CAUTION SLOW DOWN CHILDREN AT PLAY. Almost every house in our cul-de-sac has kids that play in the street. I am flabbergasted that aDriver instructor would Be so inconsiderate. We stopped him and asked why was he driving so fast and his response was I know - I know and drove off. Not even apologizing for his actions.

Fantastic experience: Highly reccomend. Charles is the world’s most patient and calm teacher. I learnt more from him than I ever had and felt totally safe, he’s made me 100x more confident and I really enjoyed my lessons with him. He’s also really fun and brings a lighthearted energy to every situation. I’m English and had never driven on the right side of the road or adhered to American roads and he walked through everything so I understood. I drove to work for the first time today and had full confidence in my ability thanks to him. If I could give 100 stars I would.

My daughter went there as she passed her driving test this morning. Charles is awesome. He did a great job on her. Fantastic experience: Never thought I'd learn how to drive until I met Mr. Charles. Mr. Charles made me feel comfortable, no matter how nervous I was. That man's patience level is amazing because I was getting annoyed with myself so quickly but he always calmed me down. I wasted money in the past with other driving schools, and glad I was told about AAPEX, and that was my last stop. Don't give nobody else your money....GO TO AAPEX. Mr. Charles was the best, honestly.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Aapex Driving school. My daughter had her permit for a few years and has really bad anxiety when it comes to driving. Mr. Charles was very patient with her and helped calm her nerves so she can learn how to drive. My daughter speaks highly of Mr. Charles and how she’s learned so much from him. Thank you Mr. Charles. We highly recommend Aapex driving school and we will be using your services again for our son.

Negative experience: Horrible. Unprofessional. I literally paid for the service and they stopped answering the phone, and did not show up for the driving appointment. I stopped by the office and there’s a sign that says due to covid they are working from home. They left 2 phone numbers. 1 is disconnected. I’m disgusted.

Fantastic experience: I completed the Adult Online Driver Education and the Adult Waiver Program through Aapex! Process was extremely easy and smooth! Communication was great. Charles was a great instructor! He eased my nerves and made me feel extremely comfortable while driving. He is very funny and great at explaining things! I will recommend Aapex to everyone I know!

Fantastic experience: Awesome driving course (VA DMV approved and AAA accredited). Offers courses for new and returning drivers (ie, for traffic infractions, etc). Offers online, Classroom based and behind-the-wheel lessons. Lunch was included for the price of 8 hour driving improvement course! Eric was a great instructor!

Negative experience: Updating 01/12/2022. Due to the fact that my experience actually wasn't all that great. The excitement of my accomplishment overshadowed it. I remember the man who was teaching me at the time had me pick up some people he knew and drop them off somewhere. This was my driving test and this man had me picking up strangers who asked me questions during a time I needed to be highly focused. Not only that I had to worry about these other lives in the car who shouldn't have been there.

Fantastic experience: Aapex was a great value compared to some of the other places I called. They were responsive and returned calls (you'd be surprised at how many businesses don't) and Charles took the time to discuss my daughter's needs and experience prior to our signing her up. He was really great with easing my daughter's nerves. She had her permit for about a year and I wasn't sure we were ever going to get her comfortable behind the wheel. After her very first session, she was less anxious about driving. Charles was calm and showed confidence in her ability, which transferred to her. He knew how to correct her in a way that wouldn't make her freeze up. He also spent time showing her diagrams and tips on how to park, etc. We will definitely be using him again for our next two kids!

Fantastic experience: Great driving school. Mr Charles as a driving instructor was exceptional. He made me comfortable behind the wheels and was very good at giving instructions. In just a week's driving lessons I was able to drive safely and confidently and get my driver's license.

Negative experience: They never answer the phone till I complained in the message. This is about the 10th time I’ve called them since last week and they finally answer. But they love to dig in yo pockets. 10/10 do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: "Slow is smooth, smooth is fast." I took the adult behind-the-wheel program. I was nervous and not confident in my abilities when I first started, with my previous experience only knowing how to brake, accelerate, and keeping a car in its lane on a straight road. My instructor Mr. Charles taught me with a calm demeanor the fundamentals of effective and safe driving. I saw quick improvement in my driving skills with each session, and my confidence has increased. I learned good driving habits that I wouldn't have learned from my friends and family. Mr. Charles was able to answer every question I had about driving with straightforward responses, using analogies and sharing stories of his own to help me understand the concepts. My only criticism is towards the scheduling, which is understandably irregular because he can't teleport the car from one place to another in an instant. However, after signing up for the class, I was told by a representative in the office I would be getting a call the following day about when I would be starting - which I never received. I called back a couple of days after, and we got it sorted out. Once the program got started, it was seamless and very consistent.

Fantastic experience: I told adult behind the wheel with Charles after dealing with driving anxiety for years. My mom wouldn't teach me, my dad instruction made me too nervous. I finally turned to another driving school but the instructor yelled at me so I ended lessons after just two classes. I was very worried I wouldnt be able to finish college because of my internship which required me having my own transportation. However, learning under Charles was a breeze. He made driving less scary, helped me with my confidence behind the wheel, and was very accommodating to my scheduling needs. He has a very laid back calming demeanor that is helpful when dealing with anxiety but will be firm and oush you to better your driving skills. I recommend him to any and everyone. This driving school is the way to go!

Fantastic experience: After failing my permit test 3 times I decided to take the drivers ed class at Aapex driving school. The class overall was enlightening and very helpful. My teacher made me feel comfortable while I was there and made sure I understood everything. A week later I passed the test and earned my permit. I recommend this driving school to anyone who is needs to get their permit fast.

Negative experience: If you need a driver improvement course and your on a deadline, DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. They scheduled a class with my foster sin, he showed up, they did not. After many calls, I finally got the receptionist to call me back, she rescheduled him fi err a class the day after his court date, and said she would write a court letter and she did, but noone is there to give it to me. but she only works three days a week, and can't tell me what happened. My foster son has to go to court with no letter, and no class , pray for us.

Positive experience: Last summer , my daughter payed to take a class through this company. After , she had completed the class , I noticed months passed by and she had not received a letter for her to go and get her license. The ladies I spoke with were very nice and professional, however there has still been no solution for this issue . My daughter saved her own money to pay for the class and now her paper license has expired. I keep getting the same run around and I called a few weeks ago and I didn't get a response. The ladies were helpful and made attempts to resolve the issue and were apologetic for the inconvenience this has caused us , however I am frustrated at this point because no resolution has been made & my daughter has expired license.. I feel her money was wasted and I am very disappointed.

Negative experience: I will admit the in-class portion was pretty good. But they have some severe issues with scheduling. I'm still trying to take the Behind the Wheel part of the Adult Waiver program, and they just will not tell me when it starts! All I get is their answering service and they take a message for me, but they still haven't responded back. I recommend this school only if you like to be kept waiting a long time, and have some money to burn.

Fantastic experience: Charles is one of the best instructor you can have for learning driving. He is soft spoken and never yells at you. After taking classes with him, I have reffered many people to take classes with him.

He was very informative, kind, and patient. He has the passion to teach and that was really evident throughout my behind-the-wheel experience with him. The 8 hour class just flew by .... I've been driving for many years and I learned so much information in one day that I haven't learned during my many years in driving.
