Fantastic experience: I had a once in a lifetime awesome experience coming in with zero knowledge and coming out a Truck Driver the instructors especially Nancy Eddie CK and Josh were all great I was amazed that I could learn all of this in such a short time but I did with their help I wouldn't change a thing I appreciate the rawness and realness they provide I learned first hand how to drive with the Big Dawgs

Fantastic experience: Great place to gather all the skills needed to pass the state cdl testing. The instructors are friendly and down to earth making the process really smooth for learning all the basics of truck driving. I passed both of my tests on the first try and now hold an unrestricted Class A CDL. Just don't take the experience too personal with the driving simulator because its definitely not very realistic.

Fantastic experience: Truck American Training Its The Best School Around Kentucky To get your CDL, The Instructors In Here are the Greatest, Eddie and Nancy Will Get you to Pass your CDL if you listen to what they says, Dale (AKA Hollywood) its also a Great Instructor One Thing for sure you will Learn Your Incab and Pretrip with Him, Also they have the greatest Road Instructors, CK, ED and GD. Ms Ann Also Will teach you right on the Classroom to get your Permit. This School Its the Best To attend too If you want to get your CDL on your first Try!

Also cannot count how many job offers ive had throughout the time at the school. Companies know their training is the real deal. Outstanding instructors. Also automatics are for sissys.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience i had at this school. They got the best instructors, especially Mr. Big Daddy Dale. I gotta tell you, he's the best along with CK too. They're all excellent but the more time you'll spend with those two, the better chance you give yourself to ace your road test. Oh! How can I forget Ms Ann who made possible for me to pass my permit test. Thanks everyone at TATraining...

Negative experience: If you want a CDL, you can get one here. I suggest using CDL Prep app to prepare for the class/permit part. The road trainers are problems, I've addressed the administration about it and hopefully they work on it. Dale and CK are great. Keep your skin thick and be ready for some ball busting here though. Edit: It seems as though Gerald and Ed are still employed here after my compliant several months ago of them sleeping while permit students are driving and student passengers are on the back couch. Maybe you should hire some younger experienced drivers to teach. These guys are dangerous... Seriously.

Fantastic experience: I'm currently on my 3rd week of the school. The entire experience has been amazing and enjoyable. They help you a long the way with everything, everything to helping get your hotel room and getting you ready for the road. Management in front office is as kind as you can find and the instructors are amazing. They genuinely care about you and you getting your CDLs. I've made some friends for life. Highly recommended if you are wanting a career in trucking. Taylor Mellor

Fantastic experience: Just pass my cdl road test today an I have to say if was not for the great staff at this school I could not have done it if you are looking to get your cdl this is the place to go everyone is great I can not say bad thing about the school nothing but great staff an smiling faces that want to help you you will have a chance to work with 5 different instructor an they all have little different way of doing things an I say thank you to all them they are the best and if you want to learn they are the ines to teach it

Negative experience: I didn't care for Jim nor his comments and his disposition is terrible. I should have stayed away when the owner didn't speak when I came to check out the school. Seen the owner on the news so I gave her business an opportunity. I do not recommend this place to the minority group. The other instructors were great. I'm educated, have my own business and getting a cdl was on my bucket list.

Fantastic experience: Great staff. Everyone here works well and tries there very best to make sure you succeed. On top of that they help you find jobs immediately after schooling by allowing recruiters to talk to the class. Best place to earn your CDL A license.

Fantastic experience: Just completed the 40 hour refresher course. Could not have had a better experience. After not being behind the wheel and the wheels turning for a few years found out it’s still there. Plenty of range,road and skills practicing. Staff has the knowledge to ensure you leave with the tools needed to be successful. Yes they will put you in situations where it will make you think, so why not have them happen while training and figure them out before they happen on the road and you lose it. So if your looking for a great school to get you ready for the road or just one to refresh your capabilities and make you a better driver / professional cargo hauler this is the place to be. Thank you to Kathy Jo for making sure it went as it was explained. And Ed, Dale and Jimmy keep doing what your doing. Some day those who don’t know will know why they were trained the way they were.

Fantastic experience: I hated riding with Jimmy the most because he would yell and to be honest seemed like the biggest dick out of all the instructors . But in the end once i started my first job, all beneficial information i learned was from Him.

Negative experience: I was a student one time and the instructors will yell at you every second , I almost got to an accident twice this school I won't recommend and I quite after 1 week. If your foreign they will look down at you and tell u get out this place is not for you .

Fantastic experience: I am currently attending Truck America Training and its awesome. The instructors know what they are talking about. Most of them are retired 20+ years on the road and they will teach you everything you need to know. But at the same time they do like to have fun while teaching. The overall atmosphere is excellent. If your looking for a school that will train you right I would suggest Truck America Training. Give it a try
