Fantastic experience: Took a class here and all the instructors were excellent. Class sizes are small so the instructors get to know you better. They first tell you how to do it, then show you, then you do it and give instant feedback. Never rode on a motorcycle before, but ended up getting it going very smoothly in the short 2 days. If your on the fence about riding take this course.

Fantastic experience: Overall, would recommend RideChicago. However, I think more consistent feedback would be helpful at improving and practicing our skills. Though I do understand it was a big class so it's more difficult to do. Perhaps smaller class sizes would benefit the students. Good at explaining instructions and showing them. Good pacing with breaks/rest. Perhaps a little more ride time to get more practice in during certain lessons / instruction.

Fantastic experience: Staff is friendly, well educated and organized. They maintain a well-maintained fleet of beginner's motorcycles, with plenty of variety for riders of different sizes. Lessons are well organized, and goals for each section are discussed beforehand. The exercises after each lesson help to achieve proficiency before moving to the next step. A great way to establish proficiency for new cyclists. They have a partnership with Motoworks that allows you to deduct the cost of the course from the purchase of your motorcycle. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Learning from Ride Chicago was one of the best weekends of my life. Honestly it was worth every penny. I highly suggest them to anyone who wants to learn to ride a motorcycle. Not only did they teach me everything in detail, but they also gave me tons of advice and tips from their years of experience. On the last day after I graduated, I went back to my car to find out that it was dead and needed a jump. Jay stayed around and went above and beyond to help me get my car started again when he didnt even have to. These guys go far beyond expectations and actually care about their students, as opposed to some of the other companies that just pass as many students as they can through just to make a profit. Ill definitely be taking their intermediate class as well. Natalie's bike skills are mind-blowing and if I can learn to ride a bike even half as good as she does, Id be one badass rider.

I felt pretty comfortable about my knowledge of riding before joining the class and was pleasantly surprised to have learned so much more after taking it. The instructors are very knowledgeable and the exercises are great even for a novice rider. Fantastic experience: I live in the far west suburbs. I drove to the city three times to finish the class. I can't tell you how great my classmates were. The instructors are amazing. They will make you feel so comfortable. I recommend taking this class even if you don't live in the city. It was worth the money the time and the effort to get to the class. I was really happy I took this class! Great job instructors!

All of the instructors were extremely patient and encouraging throughout the whole experience. They provide motorcycle, helmet, and gloves for a very very low price compared to other companies. Best motorcycle instruction class hands down!!

Fantastic experience: Best motorcycle class in Chicago! I took the Beginners course on their bikes back in 2011 and had a great experience. Took the Intermediate course this year on my bike and had an absolute blast! If you are reading this and asking yourself if you should do it, just do it! Some awesome instructors and about 25+ miles of supervised ride time in on the beginner. My wife took the beginners shortly after me and she passed, which basically makes them miracle workers in my book haha.

Fantastic experience: A great half-day class to make you more comfortable and confident on your motorcycle. No matter what your ride (I was on a HD Electra Glide), you will learn, or re-learn, useful and relevant skills for everyday riding. The instructors show you each exercise several times so that you are comfortable practicing, and you will practice each phase several times. Plenty of breaks between each exercise to give you and your bike a chance to recover.

Fantastic experience: I have never ridden a bike and was pretty scared of hurting myself. Andy and Rob were my teachers, they did a great job focusing on safety/proper technique. If you messed up they would give you advice on how to improve next time around, if you did well they would push you to go faster or stop quicker. After completing the class, all I can think about now is riding, I can't wait to get a bike and put my Ride Chicago sticker on the gas tank! Take this course!

Fantastic experience: Ride Chicago made my first experience riding a motorcycle as comfortable as riding a bike. Instructors were very informative and knowledgeable. All sessions were not only fun but very friendly and social. Meeting new people was great.

Fantastic experience: I bought a Vespa and inherited a '72 Triumph 650, so now I needed my M class to be legal and more importantly, to know what I'm doing on a motorcycle. Ride Chicago was recommended by Fox Valley Cycles in Aurora and when I saw a west suburban training site and the opportunity to take the road test through RC (a great plus!), I signed up. I wasn't quite sure what to expect - can bikers really be good teachers? But I was pleased first of all with the classroom session and when I started the riding class, I was even more impressed. The instructors clearly love riding and are good at it, but they make a great effort to not only teach the mechanics of riding a motorcycle but to be safe, safe, safe. We started with four instructors for our class of about 12 - really good ratio. Our lead instructor throughout and including test day was Ginia. She was a lot of fun, but always serious about making sure the class got the training we each needed to succeed and jumping in to help when a rider needed help. Lots of nerves on test day, but a lot more practice with the cones - it was really helpful to have as much practice time as we needed - and I passed with a perfect score (no deductions). I attribute this to Ride Chicago's organized approach, great instructors always keeping an eye on how we were doing and lots of riding time (10+ hours on the bike). I highly recommend Ride Chicago to anyone needing or wanting a motorcycle license or just to have a great time learning to ride - safely.

Fantastic experience: Just completed the class. Great experience. Good selection of bikes to fit different riders. Great progression of knowledge and skills development with enough repetition to make sure it sticks. Good balance of reinforcing points without being harsh. Can't imagine starting to ride without doing this class.

Fantastic experience: I LOVED my ride Chicago experience! The instructors were informative and knowledgeable. What I liked best was even when you messed up, they didn't get angry or yell at you. (unlike my instructors in drivers ED). I liked that they had many different bikes to try out so you can find your fit. I have never been on a bike before and I knew nothing about shifting, and now I feel confident enough to handle it on my own. I wish the classes were more than 2 days, but it was enough and so much fun!
