Bell's Auto Driving is a premier driving school located in Clifton Park, NY, with a legacy of training drivers in the Capital Region for over 60 years. As an authorized provider for the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), Bell's is dedicated to transforming new and experienced drivers into safe, confident, and road-ready motorists. Their mission goes beyond simply helping students pass their road tests; they focus on instilling lifelong safe driving habits and competence behind the wheel.

One of Bell's standout offerings is their Virtual Live Streaming Five Hour Pre-Licensing Course. This NYS-approved program allows permit holders aged 16 and older to complete the mandatory prerequisite for a road test entirely online via Zoom, providing unmatched convenience for busy students. The course covers essential topics such as defensive driving techniques, traffic laws, and road sign recognition, ensuring students are fully prepared for both the written exam and the practical road test.

For those seeking hands-on experience, Bell's provides expert-led private driving lessons tailored to individual skill levels. Whether you are a complete beginner or a licensed driver looking to refresh your skills, their certified instructors provide personalized, one-on-one instruction in a supportive environment. The school also offers comprehensive Road Test Packages, which include scheduling assistance, a review lesson with an instructor, and the use of a Bell's vehicle for the actual test appointment. With multiple packages available—including Bronze, Silver, and Gold options—Bell's ensures flexible and affordable training solutions. Their track record of success is evident in numerous five-star reviews, with students praising the patience and expertise of instructors like Joe Kramer, Brian Larson, and Sal for helping them pass their road tests on the first attempt.

Positive experience: Price is great. However the instructor ( John Ferrucci I believe) is more concerned with who and what is in your background. The extra background stories (for me) was not necessary. I came for the course not story time

Fantastic experience: Took four drivers lessons through them and it was the best thing I could’ve done. I also scheduled my road test through them and passed it today! Would recommend Bell’s anytime.
