Fantastic experience: I've taken this school 5 times at NJMP in Millville, NJ and my lap times improved every time. I learned a lot of good habits and just as importantly unlearned a lot of bad ones. CSS isn't really in the business of training champions although lots of talented racers could benefit from a couple of courses. Where CSS really shines is at taking mediocre riders (you know who you are) and making them pretty good. If you want to do better at club racing or just humiliate your friends at track days, CSS is worth every penny.

Fantastic experience: Great program. Instructors are on it to help you improve and keep you safe. The 2-Day school rotates two groups with one on-track while the other in class or with coach giving you 7-on track sessions for a busy day.

Fantastic experience: I took the 2-day camp covering Levels 1 & 2 this past summer at Sonoma Raceway. It was PHENOMENAL!!! It was fast paced and they cover a lot of material, but they prioritize safety and never push you beyond your limits. I’d never been on the track before, but each lap I felt myself getting more confident and could see my times going down. I’ve already signed up for Levels 3 & 4!

Fantastic experience: Completed levels 1 & 2 with CSB at VIR, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and plan to take levels 3 & 4. These guys know their craft and are helpful in communicating it to the students. I highly recommend this to anyone on any skill level.

Negative experience: Was in one of their camps a while ago and I'd say they're mediocre for the amount of money you're paying for. Some issues are but not limited to: 1. Coach time is limited and unbalanced. They assign 2 students to one coach and during the track sessions the coaches are mostly leading you and observe what you do through their mirror. In my level they usually just follow you for less than 1 lap out of 6~7, thus their feedback is most based on your verbal description, instead of their observation of what you actually did. 2. There is definitely some sales pitch towards persuading students that they learned something...rather than actually teaching them. Because of #1 they don't have much understanding of what you're doing anyway. 3. It's not a "try S1000RR in a safe track environment" camp. I saw some guy persuaded by the coach to ride on a street bike for the whole day, and he's understandably upset.

Fantastic experience: I wish I'd taken this school before my first track day. I learned so much in 2 days, and the environment was absolutely great.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this class for anyone who rides a motorcycle. You will learn more in 2 days than a lifetime of riding. The entire crew was great

Fantastic experience: Great school, I learned a ton. Staff and presentation is top notch, the coaches really get excited when you make progress. I've done the school a few times and I'll go back a few more in the future .

Fantastic experience: Just completed a 4-day school in Las Vegas with this crew. To state this team of professionals are ALL outstanding individuals, teachers, coaches, consultants and mentors would be an understatement. It doesn’t matter if you are 20 or 60 years old ,,,,,,,, new rider or semi-pro, you are treated ALL the same …. With the upmost respect. ALL of the coaches and consultants “ride like pros” and WILL “leave you in the dust” the second you think “you know it all”.(in a nice way) This “MACHINE” called the “California Superbike School” is just that …. A well oiled machine that keeps you on your toes. There IS NO stand around time being bored and your classes will be filled with stuff “you never knew” ……. And then they slap ya on your bike and practice what you were just taught!!!! I started at level 1 and worked up to level 4 within the 4 days I attended…… the improvement was impressive. There is NO WAY I could have learned this stuff “on the street” or from my favorite YouTuber. You will ride - learn - ride - learn - ride -EAT - ride and learn some more ….. you WILL leave exhausted whether you attend 1 day or all 4. If you are reading this and are even remotely considering attending this school - DO NOT HESITATE to go. When you arrive you will see IMMEDIATELY what you are paying for ……… you will leave well satisfied and start the process of scheduling your next session. Good luck - go get ya some!

Fantastic experience: CSS is the best school for anyone wanting to improve skills on a motorcycle. Overall the coaching staff has helped me become a much safer and faster rider.

Fantastic experience: Probably the best thing I've done since passing my test to be honest. Everything is so friendly and you learn so much! Even if you only take one thing away from the day you know more than the day before! I would recommend it to anyone and will be doing higher levels next year!

Fantastic experience: This is the best school for teaching you how to ride a motorcycle ever! They will show you things that will open your eyes on how to position yourself and to get comfortable and confident before you even get to the track! I loved this school and want to go back! Coaches were spot on and class room teaching was extremely important! Well done!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve completed all 4 levels yet I continue to learn more with each class I take. Can’t say enough positive about CSS. The entire experience is excellent. They’re very organized. Professional. Fun. The coaches are all highly skilled riders yet they shine in their ability to see what you’re doing and where you can improve. I’m schedule this July at The Ridge for my seventh class.

Negative experience: I paid their $2000.00 deposit in order to purchase one of their last year's BMW S1000RRs. Unfortunately, I was let go from my job the very same day. I had been with the same company working as an EMT/Ambulance Driver for 16 years. Now I desperately need my deposit returned, my family is struggling. But my cries fall on deaf ears. 2 years later. They flat out stole my deposit. I wish I could earn more people about their shady business.

Fantastic experience: Great team. Great instructors. Definitely walked away with skills that can only be taught by professionals. Between Level 1 and Level 2, I increased my lap time on Streets of Willow by 17 seconds. That doesn't just happene because you learn the track.

Fantastic experience: The skills and knowledge I have acquired from this staff, this epic motorsports team, is priceless. I see the road through new, much faster, eyes.

Fantastic experience: Few years of track days and some local schools before I signed up with them. Did levels 1 and 2 on my bike...huuuuuge improvements in my riding and overall comfort level at speed. The vision exercises were a game changer for me.

Fantastic experience: Great organization. Great instructors. I first started riding motorcycles in March of 2020. Now in May of 2021, after 4 school (2-3 day) events with CSS, I am able to place mid pack in the Advanced Group on track days with guys that have been riding their whole lives!!

Fantastic experience: They are a team Professionals, very knowledgeable staff that work in unison with your strengths and weaknesses to improve your riding.. Regardless of how much you know, you'll come out a better rider. Keith Code process works! It's has been proven. Besides, they have only been doing this for 40 years... What do they know? ..

Fantastic experience: I attended the level 1+2 2 day camp at Laguna Seca. I can not find any fault with any aspect of the event. It is extremely well organized with competent staff and amazing coaches. I wish I would have done this earlier in my riding career. Amazing experience I'll be back for level 3 and 4 next year for sure.

Fantastic experience: I was relatively new to road biking but I really wanted to learn to ride well. This school is a really professional operation. The bikes were incredible. In October 2019 we road the 2020 BMW S1000RR M. They have a very serious and well planned curriculum that teaches riding skills in the class room and on the track. There were some incredible riders but there were some that were just learning. The program works for everyone. This program does not necessarily focus on going fast. You can go fast for sure, but they don’t push lap times. They focus on track riding skills and let the speed come at an individual rate. Most people in my class were enthusiastically ready to attend the next level. They also really listen to student feedback.

Negative experience: I have attended the 2 day Yamaha Champions Riding School less than a year after attending the 2 day CSS. The Yamaha school is better in demonstrably substantive ways. It teaches evidence-based information. The CSS school has a cultish response to legitimate scientific challenge to the information and methods they teach. The Yamaha school, on the other hand, invites challenge. It also spends more time during the day, and evening, with the students. At CSS there’s a lot of standing around doing nothing while other groups are receiving instruction. Wasted time is wasted money The only way you can really know is to take the Yamaha course, if all you’ve taken is the CSS course. I’ve taken both, for two days each. It’s not even a close call. Yamaha is miles ahead.

Fantastic experience: An excellent course, worth every bit of what it cost. What I learned at California Superbike school has made me not only a much faster rider but also much safer. It was also a whole lot of fun!

Fantastic experience: If you're interested in learning to race motorcycles, this is the company to use. They're world famous for a reason. The on track and off track instruction is precise, easy to understand, and it works. They teach you seemingly minor skills, but they come together perfectly on the track. The group sizes are very small, so you get plenty of 1 on 1 attention. You will get faster and safer. Note that they don't teach you how to ride a motorcycle. You should be somewhat proficient already. They teach you how to navigate a track quickly, aggressively, and safely. Also note that they will let you ride to your comfort level, but they will push you a little, if you're up for it. They also provide snacks and drinks throughout the day. Will certainly use again.

Fantastic experience: In a single day, I became a more aware, precise, safer and faster rider. Excellent School for any level

Alfie Crestwood 6 years ago

Negative experience: Really pricey for the amount of track time you get. I've done a lot of other schools and this is definitely not one I would do again.

Taylor A 6 years ago

Negative experience: This kind of greed is absolutely unconscionable. I was involved in an accident on course, leaving me unable to attend a track day with a severe whiplash injury and a concussion. I registered and paid for the class 5 days before the course, and was injured 3 days before the course. I emailed them immediately informing them of my accident, and offering to send documentation, as soon as I was released by the paramedics. I did not ask for a refund, but that they apply my money to another date as I was still keen on attending a class. They refused, telling me that their margins were too small to allow me to do this. The track was already booked, the instructors paid for, and they own the bikes. It would have cost them nothing, and they would have kept a customer in the long term. Furthermore, any calculations to their margin had already been done, I was a last minute signup. It's pure unadulterated greed and it absolutely speaks to the character of those running this business. I can only infer they do not care about the customer, nor wish to create lasting relationships with their client, and seek only to turn a quick profit. There are plenty of other schools out there, I cannot recommend anyone choose this one.

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience and worth every cent! I learned more about road riding in two days than in two years of riding the twisties on my own. CSS since 1980 has been schooling riders on how to go fast (but safely go fast) and how to improve your riding skill beyond what I thought was possible. I was intimidated but soon found that their easy going and friendly teaching style put me at ease and that riding with the others in the class was not intimidating. By the end of the second day (I took the two day level 1&2 class at the Streets of Willow Springs) I had significantly improved my riding ability and average speed around the track by over 20%! If you are at all interested in riding pavement better, faster, safer, then take a class, it's well worth the money and was so much fun I'm already planning to go back for levels 3&4. Also, I took the class to improve my street riding ability but came away with a whole new appreciation and excitement for track riding. If you think riding your local twisties is fun, ride a track and you'll never want to go back! lol.

Fantastic experience: CSS was awesome. My coach Chris was great and everyone there as very friendly. I took courses 1 and 2. The program was non-stop so you don't waste any time sitting around. I didn't realize how clueless I was until I went. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Think the best review I can give is that I've done levels I, II, III and IV with them. I am going back next week for more! =) Great coaches, superb attention and I feel my riding has improved tenfold after attending. Many of the advanced members of my "street riding" group quickly noted my improvement on body position, speed, throttle control and confidence after attending. I can see the evident wear on my tires also agree with my newfound knowledge on riding. ;) I feel safer, more in control and ready to respond to immediate dangers if they arise.

Fantastic experience: I spent 2 days in Level 1-2 and it has been a blast. Bikes are amazing, the team is great, you learn a lot lot and improve quickly. The instructors, Mike and Gerry, were extremely helpful and professional. The best place to go to learn and have a lot of fun.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best money spent on improving my riding. I've been stuck in the "B" group. Wasn't really slow, but not fast enough to join Advanced. I attended a 2 day camp and by the end of the second day I managed to shave 10 seconds off my lap times. Great school. If you apply what you've learned in class and on track, you will be a better, faster rider when you leave. Thanks, Lonnie! You helped me big time!!!!

Fantastic experience: I took my level one and two training in a two day event held at Streets of Willow Springs back in 2005. Since then I have been back for level three and repeated sessions of level four. I will attend CCS events as often as my schedule allows for as long as I can throw a leg over a motorcycle. If you ride a motorcycle on the street this course is mandatory! The manner in which Keith and his team of coaches and staff cover the course content is excellent. The material covered breaks down the technical and skill aspects of riding a motorcycle quickly, smoothly and safely. The course allows you to ride tons faster at a higher level of confidence while enjoying the experience that much more. I can't say enough positive about CCS, give it a try, you won't be sorry!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I took the April 22-23 Streets of Willow Springs course, two day camp level 1 and 2. First impression as we walked from the parking lot was "very professional". After being greeted and signed in there was breakfast and assignment of track gear. Then a meet and greet of the staff, my guess was 20 staff for the two day course not including the ambulance EMT's or the track spotters. We were assigned our coaches, one coach per two students (mine was Gerry and on day two Brian). Then rules and regulations were discussed, and from the get go I knew that there would be no fxxking around. This relieved my worries, as i hadn't ridden in over two years, and it was obvious that my skill level and confidence on the bike was the lowest of the class. The school is divided into classroom time, and twenty minute track sessionsm followed by a five too ten minute debrief with your coach. The coach follows you on the track to assess your skill development. This was invaluable. Day two was better still, as it seemed like all of the skills and progressions came together. The cost is well worth it. Where else can you get classroom and track time with a professional coach whose focused on you. Then add in lunch, and gear, and personal EMT's if neccessary, and oh ya, rent a track, and mechanics to service the bikes if needed, and also have a BMW s1000r on hand. Well worth the 2500$.
