Fantastic experience: Took the 5 day evening course - and WOW, what a great experience. Went from no motorcycle experience to a competent rider within the timeframe of this class. Tim and Greg are excellent teachers and give you great feedback on technique while also keeping the course fun. If you're on the fence about classes in the area, take the class through Ride Alive; it is worth it!

Fantastic experience: I've been putting off getting my license for years because I didn't want to dedicate a full weekend to a course. It seemed like a drag. I was wrong. Ride Alive was a ton of fun, I walked away way more confident on a motorcycle and I had a great weekend. If you're considering it, just do it, and do it here. I have zero regrets, other than not doing it sooner.

Fantastic experience: Great class to take. Appropriate for an absolute beginner as well as new riders with a little bit of practice under their belt. The rider coaches are just that—coaches. Riding instruction and encouragement are provided with humor mixed in to keep things light without being a distraction. You are learning to ride after all, and the risk management is emphasized with the new skills you are being taught to correctly control a motorcycle. Greg and Gary obviously enjoy what they do and it’s easy to feed off of their enthusiasm for riding.

Fantastic experience: I don't usually leave reviews, but this riding academy is well worth it! It was fun, love the knowledge and know how you gain from the course, especially in only a weekend! If your a beginner someone whos got a bike and needs the course to complete for your full license this course is awesome. Dont act like I did and sweat the small stuff, dont get me wrong definitely do your best but the environment is fun, friendly, and helpful!

Fantastic experience: This is a great course! Instructors are really knowledgeable and very attentive. The in-person portion of the class is all done on the bike. The bikes offered by the class are also very forgiving and easy to learn on. Highly recommend to any new riders or riders that haven’t ridden on the road. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I bought my husband the two-day class for his birthday because I always wanted to do it. :) We had a wonderful experience! The instructors were patient, encouraging, and knowledgable. Overall we had a ton of fun. We passed the practical test during the course and passed the written test at the DMV a day later. We are now waiting on our new licenses to come in and are shopping for a motorcycle and gear. If you're looking for a safe way to learn to ride or hone your skills, sign up now. This class is excellent.

Fantastic experience: Did a 2 day weekend class with Ride Alive and the instructors were great. Friendly and extremely helpful. I never touched a motorcycle before the first day of lessons and they were amazing. Highly recommend for anyone even thinking about riding a motorcycle!

Fantastic experience: I took the BRC class here and so glad I did. The rider coaches and assistants were very patient and helpful throughout the entire class and they made it fun. This is a great class for anyone with little to no riding experience. You start out with getting comfortable with the bike, assuming no experience, and walk away feeling confident about riding. I got my motorcycle license in one try and will be riding with skill and confidence! Thank you for a fun and great experience.

Fantastic experience: Both coaches are very amiable. They have professional knowledge and guide us patiently. You will learn everything about motorcycles and how to keep yourself safe in class. The coach will have a great tolerance for your mistakes and will not accuse you for no reason. On the contrary, every time you go to the next exercise, you will give detailed demonstrations and action analysis and will also make suggestions for your actions to be correct, which is very important for newbies. If I have friends who want to try motorcycle riding, I would highly recommend taking a Ride alive class. -YanJun

Fantastic experience: The coaching staff are excellent and willing to help you learn anything you need to know about riding a motorcycle. And they do everything they can to make sure you have a good time while learning too, from the free coffee to the atmosphere they created, it was a wonderful time learning and riding here. 10/10 would absolutely recommend

Fantastic experience: I want to personally thank the husband and wife of this course for their help the other day. You were very generous and allowing me to use your phone, tools and keep my bike there while I got help. Riders always look out for one another. Please do not come to this property and do burners on their paint. This kind couple is trying to teach people how to ride safely on the roads, don't be that jerk that ruins it for everyone.

Fantastic experience: Came here never riding a motorcycle and was able to make it through with the support of the staff and my peers. I enjoyed the process and look forward to returning as riding is a lifelong process, it is always something to learn.

Fantastic experience: The instructors encouraged me every step of the way. I went in knowing nothing and came our ready to get on the road. Fun fact I fell, dropped the bike, broke the clutch and I still choose to ride because they were so awesome about it.

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience all around with Ride Alive! The coaches during the class were very knowledgeable and friendly while still conveying the importance of proper riding techniques and attitude. I also had the unfortunate event of my certification card being stolen out of my car(in a backpack with other valuables) and they were extremely quick to respond to my emails and get it sorted out. Can't say enough good things about the company. I'd reccomend the rider course to anyone looking to get into motorcycling.

The entire staff is so friendly and are amazing coaches (Cherie, Greg, and Gary) Everyone in my class passed thanks to the excellent staff and training we received. I would recommend to anyone who wants to or is currently riding a motorcycle, it allows for an amazing learning experience for both newbies and veterans. By the end of the course you truly feel welcomed into the motorcycle family. Thank you again to our amazing coaches!

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give them more stars, very good staff, walked in the class last week barley knew how to drive motorcycle, they taught me everything , safety, how to ride , control motorcycle and more, thank you very much Greg and Cherie you two are the best , Greg and Cherie made the class fun and they were very helpful. Negative experience: Main instructor (MJ) was very rude and hostile at times, gave poor communication signals and was not an effective teacher. Course was a incredibly poor value for the price ($350), most of the exercises are incredibly basic with only 1 (u-turns) actually benefitting from the hands-on instruction. You'd be better off learning to ride in a parking lot yourself and taking the DMV driving test; you'll get the same experience from watching videos on YouTube, skimming the DMV handbook, and spending a couple hours practicing. Suggest finding a cheap motorcycle to use (or installing guards on your own) and simply going that route. Coupled with the horrible instruction, I would not recommend this program at all.

MJ was such a great rider coach and Cherie and Alex and Greg were all so supportive! i had never ridden a bike by myself before this, and they never gave up on me and really encouraged me until i caught on. Negative experience: DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE I arrived 5 minutes late to a 8 hour class and was refused services. When asked why this was, instructor said it was out of "respect" and even went as far as to ask if I have a job...despite refusing the course there was no refund issued. I had to go through my bank to cancel the payment. Beware.

Fantastic experience: Just finished my five-day course and I have to say it was an AWESOME experience. I learned so much from Greg and Cherie. They made the whole learning experience fun and enjoyable. You can really see the passion they have teaching others. So, if you are new to riding like I was or have been riding for a while and want to learn more, this is the place to go! Looking forward to the advance course!

Fantastic experience: I took the basic rider course 2 (advanced class) last year because I had already been riding for 18 years without a license. I thought it would just be a waste of a day to get my license. I was WRONG! I learned VERY valuable lessons in this class. It doesn't matter how long you have been riding, if you want to be a better and safer rider, I highly recommend you take this class!

Fantastic experience: Just finished my 2 day course with Greg and Cherie and I am so glad I took this class! I knew how to ride a motorcycle and took this class to obtain my license instead of the road test and I am 100% happy with my decisions. This course teaches you about the motorcycle, how to ride and maneuver it, how to handle potential risks and hazards on the road but more importantly builds confidence in your own riding ability to keep yourself safe out there. That cannot be duplicated in a simple road test. Greg and Cherie are absolutely awesome, friendly, funny and helpful...the weekend went by quickly and we had a blast. Not to mention, you naturally become a better rider because you literally spend 12 hours on the motorcycle all weekend and seat time with instruction is invaluable! Fantastic experience: I just finished my 2 day class with the owners and they are amazing teachers. I came into class not knowing anything about how to ride (I had never even been on a motorcycle or known anyone who rides) and I left the class as a different person who knew how to ride. The instructors thoroughly teach you everything and go through everything step by step. They do a great job of it too. The teachers are straight up with learners and tell them how it is by A. giving them good feedback if they did a good job or B. telling them what did they did wrong and how to improve next time. Overall it’s a great place to learn how to ride. Highly recommend it. Make sure you can keep up with the instructors sarcasm though.

Fantastic experience: Worth every penny. I do not have a negative thing to say. I came into this course with experience and left knowing my riding has some flaws that need correcting. Instructors are extremely accommodating and down to earth. I planned to do the advanced course and will definitely go through them. They want you to succeed, and will do everything they can to get you there.

Fantastic experience: Hey All, Just finished my BRC class (weekend) with Greg and Cherie in Ride Alive Academy. Amazing experience, great instructors, and a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere. For someone who never tried to ride a motor bike ... it was hard for me to think that I can make it happen. With the safety presentations in the class room, and with the training on the range, Greg and Cherie make it happen and I am proud of that. And as Greg said all the time: "I am not here to teach you how to ride the bike, I am here to teach you how to control the bike and be safe - Ride Alive" Finally, I am going there again for BRC 2 in the Spring. Trust me folks, Go there and you will enjoy it.

Fantastic experience: Just finished my basic rider 2 day course with MJ and Tony. I can’t say enough about how incredibly helpful, kind, cool, relaxed yet stringent on safety, absolutely wonderful those two are. It was hot, humid and at times miserable, but they looked out for us and I always felt safe. Highly recommend this course!! I went from casual 50cc scooter rider to having the skills, knowledge, and confidence to buy my first bike. Can’t thank you enough, and only wish I could rate even higher!! ☺️

Fantastic experience: A wonderful experience for the novice rider. Central to the process was gaining confidence and respect for the machine and rules for the road. If you want to be a safer rider and having a joyfull experience, this is the course for you.

Fantastic experience: Great class, teachers are extremely friendly and professional. Smaller class sizes make it feel as if your being taught in a 1 on 1 environment. Fantastic experience: The course is great but don't expect an easy pass. I did the 3 day course and we worked on 13 exercises and along with class time. As someone who never rode before, this was an excellent introduction class. At the end you go through 5 tests and depending on your abilities you can earn a passing grade. NOTE: This isn't an easy pass, you actually need to earn your pass by showing abilities you learned over the past few days (5 of 8 in my group passed). I'd highly recommend Ride Alive as a great place to learn to start to learn how to ride a motorcycle.
