Fantastic experience: Jason made the online lessons something my daughter enjoyed rather than a chore -- it's a very special talent to make that material engaging and funny! We live in the San Juan Islands and really appreciated the accommodations to make it easier for island kids to make the required drives. And finally the testing process was as friendly and stress free as such a thing can be. Very happy with our decision to use this Driver's Education company!!!

Fantastic experience: I love this defensive driving course! Honestly, Jason is the best teacher around. The information is given well, and in a linear fashion, and there are constant jokes worked in that make being attentive easy. Overall, I wish I had done this course in person, but the online format was also fun! Even my mom is impressed by how much more we are taught than she ever was.

Fantastic experience: Defensive Driving School is pretty fun, given its a school. :) I was recommended to it by a relative. It works well for me, even though I live miles away, because they had a zoom course I could take. They can accomodate for everyone, and my DDS teacher has a sense of humor as good as my spanish teacher's. (I swear that last bit is not sarcasm, my spanish teacher has like 4 books of "101 jokes"...)

Positive experience: I appreciate the dash cam videos that help to give you a better idea of what driving looks in situations you have not yet experienced and some ways of how to avoid crashes in those situations.

Fantastic experience: Choosing DDS for my daughter’s driver education has been an awesome experience and was worth every penny. The office coordinator, class instructor and driving instructor all exceeded my expectations. All so nice, helpful and professional. My daughter looked forward to and enjoyed every lesson. No stress whatsoever! She and I really appreciated the sense of humor of her class instructor that made classes fun and interesting. Her driving instructor was awesome putting her at ease during every drive. My daughter received a very thorough education that continues to motivate her to do homework and practice. Thank you DDS at the Mount Vernon location for making this entire process easy for the parents, and fun for the students!!

Fantastic experience: This driving course is one I would highly recommend because of the lengths they go to to make you feel right at home in the aspect that they really put their 100% efforts in to help you learn and understand and sometimes feels like your own parents is perhaps teaching you because of how closely they work with you at times so I would definitely recommend them they're also a cheaper option than most other driving places and you can do the DOL written and driven through them.

Fantastic experience: When I first got there to take my knowledge test, the instructor Carl has such a positive and great energy that makes you feel comfortable right away. After I passed my knowledge, he was my instructor taking the driving test. He is very patient and kind. If you need a place to take your driver license test, go to this place.

Karl is THE BEST instructor!! They have been so professional and are amazing at keeping the students on task. My daughter completed the classes online during quarantine.

Fantastic experience: My son had a great experience with Defensive Driving School. He had taken the class somewhere else and kept missing the written test by a couple of points. Brett is a great instructor and gave him some pointers, while my son kept the responsibility to pass the test. He passed the exam and the drive test the same day!

Amazing price for Driver’s Ed and you get free stickers! 11/10 would recommend to my friends, family and future kids.

Fantastic experience: This school is really good in giving awareness and more detailed details of what it’s really like to drive. Plus the instructor Stephen Hess gives really good inside tips on how to drive easily and super safely on the road. He’s hilarious and really awesome chill person to have as an driver instructor. I’m currently taking the class and I’ve gained so much cool information already. It’s never a boring day in class at defensive driving school.
